Are you happy with your salary?

Hi Sisters!

I think no salary is enough for anyone.  Usually, as you increase your salary, you also increase your expenses, which means the more you have, the more you want more.

If you really want to increase your salary, my advice is to specialize on something.  We usually hear our manager say, you need to know a little bit of everything and be a generalist.  But the exact opposite is true.  The more you specialize on something, the higher your value to the company.

You either specialize by taking advance studies (not MBA since it is general), take a Master's degree of your specialization, take certification classes like project management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma http://www.6sigmaph.com/training.html, or if you're a finance professional, you have Certified Management Accountant, CIA Certified Internal Auditor, etc.

Look for certification and further studies that only few have and it will sure make companies willing to spend more for your compensation.  Good luck!

hmmm. nung una oo im satisfied naman but now na nalaman kong yung new hire has higher amount of incentives than ours syempre i think its unfair. since kami pa rin naman gumagawa ng work nya except kapag super busy.

wow, sa laki ng tax ko monthly nagulat naman ako short pa ng 2k+ yung nadeduct sa akin for last year. wow talaga!

and i feel like i deserve a higher rate or a promotion than my current salary..
tapos bawasan pa ng tax na yan ang salary ko oh db?
kakainis lang pati lahat ng bonuses taxable, wala naman pagbabago sa gobyerno..

Our company rate is lower that other BPO companies. OK na sana for me ang rate eh. Wag lang ang tax. Bonuses din dapat di taxable, kasi incentives na nga ng tao iyon. Performance incentive binabawasan pa.. at the end of the year, all incentives in excess of 30k lahat subject to tax. Kainis lang and expected 13th month di mo makukuha ng buo.

Kung single ako, ok lang, sobra pa nga. pero may anak na ko. 2 na kami ng asawa ko na may trabaho minsan kulang pa.. Nagigipit pa at walang naiipon..

Dunadating sa point na walang wala na talaga ko at naaawa ako sas arili ko.. Hindi lang ako makahanap ng kapalit na trabaho kaya nagtitiis ako..

irregardless of amount please be happy with your salary.

its up to you kung pano mo mapagkakasya salary ninyo.
kasi I believe Higher Salary equates to Higher Needs
kaya kahit anong gawin natin lahat tayo dito sasabihing kulang ang salary natin XD
