Similac HW Plus Users

ask ko lang reviews/feed back about similac. kung malambot ba poop ni baby or naging less colic ba sya?

my 3-month old baby's formula is similac hw. she's mixed fed but she takes more formula than breastmilk.

her poop is soft and she's not constipated.

about colic naman, she was colicky when she was 1-2 months old. not sure if that has a direct co-relation with the formula.

Mga mommies im using similic hw plus for about a week kaya lang ive noticed na watery and soft ang poops ni baby. kinontinue nyo pa rin b or did you switched to other milk?

my baby's been on similac hw for 4 mos now. dark green and watery poop nga sa kanya. but i don't think there's a problem with it. since parang ganun din poop niya when i was mixed feeding. she's not constipated naman and she's a very healthy baby sabi ng pedia. on her 4th month check yesterday, 7.1kgs na siya!

yes mga sis, watery nga poop nya. yun ang sabi ng pedia nya..kaso ang prob ko tamad umire si baby,,kaya we used suppository,, nasanay ata kasi ang tigas ng poop nya sa s26

dark green and super soft, but i don't think it's watery naman.

the pedia also said it's ok and she's thriving naman so ok lang. the pedia was actually alarmed when i told her dark green ang poop. she thought maybe the baby couldn't digest the formula well kaya ganon but she's constantly gaining weight naman so ok lang daw. she's 5.5kgs na at 3 months, from 2.5kgs lang when she was born.

I'm also using Similac for my 2 month old son, and yes dark green and parang watery poopoo nya.  I had a weird experience with this milk, nakaiwan kasi ako ng isang bottle with left over milk sa diaper bag, after 2 days ko lang nadiscover na may naiwan ako don, nagulat ako the formula turned pink.  I told the pedia about this and she said di nya alam bat nagkaganon, and that ngayon lang nya narining yung ganon.  She didnt ask us to switch formula, so until now yun pa din gamit ko na milk. Anyone who had the same experience?

Sa can ng similac hw, it says for babies 0-12 months. Will you follow this or will you switch to stage 2 formula when your baby turns 6 months old?

 depende sa advise ng pedia, ask ko rin yun next visit namin sa kanya. kaw ano plan mo?

^ not sure pa eh. Ayaw ko sana magpalit kung talagang good up to 12 months of age. But the pedia said to change eh. Pero tatanong ko ulit kung bakit.

Basta sana we stick to abott products. My husband's dad is a retired employee kasi so we get a discount. Yung similac hw we got for only P405/big can.

my 2mos old baby is now on similac hw, beofre she's having enfalac. but her pedia change her milk to similic due to her skin asthma. and yes her poop is dark green somewhat watery. we asked her pedia and kabag daw yun.

Big discount talaga that's why we're very thankful. A big can lasts us about 2 weeks. We got a box of 12 last december, di pa ubos hanggang ngayon!

^lucky you. hirap maghanap ng big can ng similac, puro small lang sa supermarket at drug stores. for my daughter 1 big can lasts for 5- 7days.

Ok lang since halos 1 week lang ang big can sa'min. Malapit na rin kami mag-switch since sabi ng pedia papalitan na daw on the 6th month.

Is Similac HW the same as the Similac Alimentum release sa US?

Hi Skylove! Would like to know if you already switched to other milk. What is after Similiac HW Plus. My Pedia advised me to shift to Gain HW. However after searching for this product i found out from Abbott (I phoned the customer service) that this is not existing. So when we came back to the doctor i told about this so i was advised again to shift to gain advance plus instead. But gain advance plus is for babies 1 year onwards. Huh! im thinking of moving to another doctor but since he's been my pedia for 6 years already sa eldest ko. during the time of my eldest wala naman ganitong situation. hay! Please inform me kung ano next stage na milk sa Similac HW Plus. Thank you!

^ similac hw is actually good for babies up to 12 months, according to what is written on the can.

pero ang stage 2 milk ng abbot is gain advance. gain plus advance is stage 3.

wala ngang gain hw.
