Uy! Congrats sis! Sang hospital ka ngayon? Kung hindi ako nagkakamali sis, active ka sa candy forum noh? I think I saw you there as moderator ata. I was helping someone in choosing the right college course and it brought me to that forum. I thought to myself, kilalal kita kasi dun sa old thread ng nurses, nagkakasalubong tayo. La lang, nakakatuwa coz the last time I remember, kaka enroll mo pa lang sa masters. Glad you're about to finish na. Good for you sis!

Hi sisses, I hope you can enlighten me with my dilemma. I'm currently a staff nurse sa isang tertiary hospital. I'm planning to resign but then I'm thinking not to - yet - since wala pa akong isang taon. I wanted to resign mainly because I want to pursue my dreams, like what they say. I'm planning to go to med pero hirap pa humanap ng pera. Kung hindi man mangyari yun, plano ko kasi magoffice work, kung nursing related, research nurse, if not any office work. Napapagod kasi ako sa clinical work, at parang hindi ko na ata kakayanin pang magnurse dahil nakakatakot ang ospital at ang workload sa nurses from where I'm working right now. Do you think I should render a year or a bit more? Wala naman kasi akong plano magabroad, actually kung meron man, plan Z ko na yun. I'd love to hear from you guys.

^IMO, sayang talaga kung magreresign lalo na at tertiary hospital. Pero na sa yo pa rin ang final decision.

Migrate na lang ako sa Canada buti na lang at nakaabot ako sa quota nila ng nurses kasi may limit yata every year or 6 months. Wala akong future dito lalo na pag tinamaan ka ng kamalasan. LOL Hopefully dun na ko maging successful. I took an examination in a government hospital last May 23. 260 daw kami nag exam pero 2 lang mahihire. Kakadisappoint noh? Tapos sobrang hirap talaga ng exam para kaming nagtake ulit ng board exam. Samanhan pa ng enumerations at 10 items na calculations (iba pa yung nasa multiple choice). I wasn't prepared that time na ganun ang approach ng questions. Hayz...

hello mga sis, rn here working at pgh. may application din ako sa us sabi august 2005 na ata pinaprocess.. 2008 priority date ko. meron ba naipit din dito ng retro? ano priority date niyo?

Good for you, you're working in PGH. How long ka nag antay after you passed your resume?

1.5 yr. 6mos kasi application dati then 1 yr waiting. tagal diba buti nalang worth it naman paghintay ko. Are you working na din sis? Ano agency mo sa us? Tska san state ka nagapply? Hay sana bumilis ng visa processing..

2004 graduate here. Nasayang lang ang paghihintay ko na ma-lift ang retrogression sa US. 2006 ang priority date ko. Kaya eto migrate na lang kami ng husband ko (who is also a nurse) sa Canada. It took us only 7 1/2 months to get our immigrant visa.

I did trainings in the past. Although gusto ko muna mag stay sa bahay ngayon. My husband and I are trying to conceive and we don't want to put stress on my daily life. We've been wanting to have a baby for years na so we don't wanna risk it. But I will be going back. No questions about that. All About Staffing ang agency ko. How about you? They applied me to Texas although I have a Cali nclex.

^ Sis ciara, I like canada too. next to US, I want to migrate to canada. If it's ok to ask, how did you process it?
