BIRTH CERTIFICATE PROBLEM

@ava_camille Baka sa NSO na po, kasi na-update sa munisipyo yung kopya pero ang sa NSO yugn maiden name mo. NSO naman madalas ang ginagamit na basehan for records. Baka pumunta din ako this May para makapagtanong.

Thanks sis pls keep me posted. Sa NSO office ba dapat talaga pumunta para ma update ko yung birth certificate ng son ko?

good day po ask ko lang ... medyo nalilito kasi ako diba nitong year 2004 yata yung batas na about sa pag papayag na gamitin ng anak ang aplido ng ama... pero ask ko lang kasi yung kaklase ko namomoble sya kasi sya ... bale nung pinanganak sya may 4 na syang kapatid (same parents) tapos di kasal ang mama at papa nya ... pero yung sa birth certificate nya is gamit ang aplido ng tatay nya ...tapos naghiwalay ang tatay at nanay nya ., eh bawal daw pala ang pag gamit nya ng aplido ng tatay nya ... pwede ba na gawing aplido nalang ng nanay nya at paano daw kali ang process., tinutulungan ko kasi sya kasi naaawa ako sa kanya ...

I have dual citizenship and indicated on my baby's birth certificate that my citizenship is Filipino American.

On Monday we applied for my baby's passport and my mom told me I should have only indicated American on her birth certificate since the US only recognizes 1 citizenship. She wants me to have my baby's birth certificate amended to reflect this, can anyone advise how to do this? Do I start with the City Hall then proceed to NSO?

yung friend ko nakakuha sila ng lawyer for this case, binigay sa kanila P30k each or for both na, im not sure. kasi dalawa silang magpapachange of gender. magkapatid sila.

ako naman we have our family friend na lawyer, ang charge lang niya sakin ay travel expenses niya for the days na kailangan siya sa court. correction of entry naman yung sakin (for my daughter's Birth Certificate).

mga sis i have the same prob as most of you here. Illegitimate child, surname after mine, me and dad are not married when she was born.

Question ko is: Hindi pa kami married ng dad nya and we also have a 2nd baby (with his surname). Pede bang papalitan yung surname ng first born ko (isunod na sa tatay nya) and sign the paternity something sa likod para ma-acknowledge sya as the father kahit hindi pa kami nagppakasal? Parang ang awkward kasi, na yung eldest ko gamit yung surname ko then yung second namin gamit na surname ng dad nila.

I hope our lawyer sisses can help me I just received my NSO birth certificate, but the signature of my dad is missing. Sabi ng dad ko he's sure nag sign sya nun. But my original copy of birth cert yung lumang luma hehe wala sila signature ng mom ko! But sa nso birth cert, meron signature si mom, si dad lang ang wala. I called nso and they advised me to go to the pasay cityhall first (I was born in pasay nga pala)but before I go there, I want to make my research muna. Alam nyo naman sa govt agencies scary lumapit minsan. Iba-iba sagot puro bayad ang sasabihin agad

Yeah, I read about that. You don't have to pay for changes you need done on your Birth Cert. which is great news to peeps who still needs it. But sucks for us who paid thousand to change and correct our Birth Cert. and had to go to court to amend it.

when i gave birth to my second child my husband was abroad so he was not able to sign the birth certificate. so i guess there is no problem  if your dad has not signed the birth certificate. regarding the discrepancies in your copy of the birth certificate, that is normal because hospital staffs required several copies of the birth certificate to be filled up so it is possible that your dad was not able to sign all of them. for purposes of getting married, applying for a passport, what is controlling is the nso birth certificate

mga sis ask lang about sa problem ng kawork ko.. when she apply kc for passport dun nya nalaman na wrong spelling pala [textspeak!] middle name sa NSO birth cert nya..so dahil that time kelangan na madalian [textspeak!] passport sinunod nya na lang un nasa NSO.so problema nya now gusto nya na icorrect un NSO nya pero inisip nya kung puede din ba sa DFA un paayos ng ganun.. ot na

Mga sis help!

I got my niece from my Kuyaa's family kasi hirap sila paaralin lahat ng kids nila due to laziness. The kid was 12 yearsnold last June. Now before enrollment we requested at SM for her borth certificate. To my surprise, wala pa syang birth certificate and she is already 12.

Question is, possible ba mga sis na I'll be the one to get her birth certificate without her parents.. Bale ako na mag aasikaso ng late registrations sa Antipolo even without her parents' signutres? Mahirap kausap kasi hipag ko. Kahit tumutulong ka na, masama pa rin tingin sa ginagawa namin.
