no prob sis! kaya sis in the future pag nagkababy ka, sabihin mo sa hubby mo na idouble check nya lahat ng details sa birth cert ni baby para wala talagang errors. hehe

may problem po sa birth certificate ko,yung father ko po kasi mali ang nailagay sa birth certificate ko instead his real name nya po ang ilagay,yung nickname nya ang nailgay nya,even sa marriage certificate nila ng mama ko ganun din po ang ginawa nya,ano po ba dapat ang gawin namin ng mama ko?kung saka-sakali naman na may gagastusin magkano naman po kaya ang gagastusin namin?

Hi mga sis. Share ko ang concern ko, sana may makatulong sa akin dito.

I gave birth June 2000. Hindi kami kasal ng father ng son ko. Para masunod sa apelyido ng bf ko ang anak namin, nagpagawa sya ng fake marriage contract. Ang problema ko ngayon, mag aapply ako ng passport ng anak ko, nakalagay ang entry na kasal ako. Nagkahiwalay na kami ng father ng anak mga 10yrs na rin and next year magpapakasal na ako. Ano ba ang gagawin ko para macorrect ang status ko sa birth certificate ng anak ko? Kailangan pa bang baguhin ang surname nya kasi wala namang pinirmahan na Acknowledgment of Paternity ang father nya. Pwede ba akong makasuhan sa ganito? Magkano kaya ang aabutin na gastos?

Mga sis, i will post this question for a friend, i hope someone can help.


My friend gave birth last 2010, hindi sila kasal ng father of her child but they wanted the child to have the father's last name. The hospital didnt look for the marriage certificate but they indicated sa birth papers ng hospital that they were married anyway, and actually indicated a marriage date and place, of course this info are not true.


Now they scheduled a baptismal date for the child, but found out that the hospital was not able to register the certificate of live birth sa city hall. ayaw din ng simbahan without an nso provided birth certificate.


Now my friend wanted to register it by herself sa City Hall but the people there are looking for the marriage certificate because the papers that the hospital provided indicates that they are indeed married and the child has the father's last name.


They do not know what steps to take now for the child to get registered because of course the marriage certificate is non existent. So they really need help. And now it doesnt matter if the child name will be after her or the father's last name as long as the child's birth will be registered.


And if she wants to change the last name of the child to hers, is that possible and would that be easier? or would that create another problem? what steps should she take?


I hope someone here can help her, she's really frustrated and kawawa naman may future inaanak.


Note: She and the father are still together but they can't get married because the guy's status is still married, even though he was already separated for 5 years from his legal wife.

i have a 2 yr old son named after my ex bf.. registered na sa nso ang birth certificate ng anak ko.. ang gusto ko sana mangyari eh palitan ang surname ng anak ko at gamitin ng anak ko ang surname ko.. pwede po ba un? ano po bang legal action ang pwede kong gawin.. my ex is willing to sign naman if i want to change the surname of my child..

yung friend ko nakakuha sila ng lawyer for this case, binigay sa kanila P30k each or for both na, im not sure. kasi dalawa silang magpapachange of gender. magkapatid sila.

ako naman we have our family friend na lawyer, ang charge lang niya sakin ay travel expenses niya for the days na kailangan siya sa court. correction of entry naman yung sakin (for my daughter's Birth Certificate).

Zanta, sa application ng passport para sa anak mo, kailangan mo birth certificate niya and marriage certificate niyo from nso. ngayon kung fake naman ang marriage niyo, wala ka makukuha sa nso na marriage certificate. kailangan ipaayos mo muna ang birth certificate ng bata bago ka makakuha ng passport niya. mas maganda mag consult ka sa lawyer kasi ang daming aayusin sa case mo.

pinay_superstar, bakit kaya hindi nai register agad ng hospital sa city hall. ang alam ko kasi after a month dapat nakaregister na siya at dapat may hawak ng copy of birth certificate yung parents, yung green/white paper na form from local civil registry.
i suggest, kuha na din sila ng lawyer para mairegister ang birth certificate ng bata. hindi maireregister yan hanggat walang copy ng marriage certificate of parents.

hi mga sis.. before ganyan din prob ko.. mali ang name ko and mali ang place of marriage ng parents ko.. what i did was i went to local civil registry and asked.. hehe actually dun pala talaga dapat muna pumunta.. gumastos ako ng 1000 pesos.. and 2000 sa pamasahe ko... yun lang.. then after 3-4 months maayos na birthcert ko..that was year 2007

hi mga sis. magkano ang nagastos niyo nung nagpapalit kayo ng letigitimacy ng baby nyo? hindi din kasi kami kasal ng asawa ko nung time na nanganak ako. sept 2010 siya pinanganak at nov 2011 lang kami nagpakasal. gusto ko na din sana ayusin yung birth certificate niya eh. thanks!

need advice sisses..kasi [textspeak!] mom-in-law ko wants to apply for passport. kelangan ng birth certificate...which wala ang mama ko. she is alrady 60 years old and unfortunately wala talaga syang naka file na birth certificate. nag try sya mgapagawa sa bicol where she was born pero ng lumabas na yung copy sa NSO..blank yung PLACE OF BIRTH nya..kaya na deny sya sa DFA. paano ba magko correct ito? san kami pupunta para maayos ito and how much kya ang magagastos? nung nanganak ako sa first born hindi pa kami married ni hubby.. surname ko nilagay nung nag aayos sa hospital ng b.c. then nung pipick upin na namin b.c. ni baby, hindi pa daw nila naayos.. tapos yung time na yun sabi nung nagaayos  pwede na daw gamitin surname ni hubby kahit hindi kasal... may nilabas daw na batas about dun... so gumawa ng bagong certificate.. yun ang hawak namin and lahat ng documents ni baby surname ni hubby... last week kukuha kami ng passport, kailangan ng b.c from nso.. pag kuha namin, ibang b.c yung binigay samin... surname ko pa ang nakalagay sa baby ko... ano kaya nangyari dun?

May I ask sino na po ang naka-experience dito o may alam kahit kaunti sa court hearing para ipa-bago ang surname ng bata? When our eldest was born kasi, minor ako and my husband (then my boyfriend) just turned 18. Since bata pa ako (at bangag pa dahil kapapanganak, haha!) hindi ako umasikaso dun sa birth certificate kundi yung nanay ko. What I know is nakakuha ng cedula yung husband ko and he also signed yung paternity acknowledgment so I was really surprised when I verified na kahit nakapirma doon si husband, sa akin pa rin pala ipinangalan ng nanay ko yung bata. (Loooong story.) Anyway, we already inquired before sa munisipyo ng Marikina (actually sa Pasig dapat, pero nagtanong lang naman nung pina-process namin yung marriage license namin) and ang sabi dahil daw surname ang papalitan court hearing na daw iyon.

Baka may nakakaalam paano ang process nun (kahit basic overview lang) and kung may makakaquote sana ng nagastos nila para makapag-set aside kami. Eldest child's going to school na kasi this June, yun nga lang maiden surname ko ang gagamitin niya hanggang di pa namin nalalakad.

@rush Hi sis! Baka ang na-forward at nai-register na record is yung nauna kaya hindi pa rin updated yung surname ni baby. Ask ka sa local civil registry. Yun yung naisip ko kasi nabanggit mo na naabutan kayo nung batas na pinapagamit na sa bata ang surname ng tatay kahit hindi kasal, baka nagka-mix up sila.

Ako din eto problema ko sa son, hindi pa kami married ng father niya nung pinanganak ko siya. Sa surname ko isinunod tapos may acknowledgement na lang si father. After a month nag pakasal din kami ng father niya, ang tanda ko inasikaso lang namin sa Pasig Municipal, pinakita lang namin Marriage Contract and paid certain fees. No lawyers needed then they gave us the New Birth Certificate of our son na naka sunod na sa Surname ng Hubby ko.

Last year kumuha ako NSO copy ng birth certificate ng son namin and I was surprised na ang lumabas or binigay samin ay yung birth certificate carrying my Surname at hindi yung surname ng father niya.

Hindi ko alam kung saan ako lalapit para mag tanong baka kasi in the future magka problema yung anak namin sa birth certificate niya

@ava_camille Baka sa NSO na po, kasi na-update sa munisipyo yung kopya pero ang sa NSO yugn maiden name mo. NSO naman madalas ang ginagamit na basehan for records. Baka pumunta din ako this May para makapagtanong.

Pero nung kumuha kami ng NSO birth certificate nya ang name nya doon is Petra. We really didn't know what happened, bakit naging Petra ang name nya doon.

Tanong ko lang po kung pwedeng hindi na kumuha ng lawyer or dumaan sa judicial court yung change name. Kasi ang ireretain nyang name is Lorenza. For petition kasi sya ng sister ko and Lorenza ang name nya sa lahat ng birth certificates namin na mga anak nya.

ganito rin case ng mother ko. actually siya mismo pinalitan niya yung name niya. di niya siguro trip yung name na binigay sa kanya. lol!

pagkakatanda ko di naman niya kinailangan ng lawyer. punta lang kayo sis sa office ng local civil registrar then comlpy niyo lang yung mga requirements and documents needed na magpapatunay na iisa person lang yung nanay mo at yung Petra. then if kung sa birth cert. niya lorenza naman talaga yung nakalagay, then no problem punta na lang kayo sa NSO then pa update niyo na lang yung record dun. actually di naman nila babaguhin yung record, maglalagay lang sila ng note doon sa birth cert. ng details ng correction.
