Greetings!

F2A category here... My PD is July 2008.

I'm so excited kasi malapit na maging current yung PD namin but until now hindi pa ako nakakapagpasa ng DS230 namin (me and my kids) kasi napakatagal ng processing ng legitimation sa Manila. We took 1 yr to finish it all. Now after all the hardship tapos na din.
First week of july makukuha na din namin yung NSO birthcertificate niya.

After that makakakuha na rin kami ng passport niya. Last May ay nagparenew ako ng passport sa DFA at sabi nun lalaki sa INFORMATION we don't need na daw ng appointment letter for my son para sa pagprocess ng passport niya as long as maipapakita namin yung letter/email ng NVC that asking for docs/passport. Iparush daw yun.

Now, inaayos ko na yung mga papers namin para isubmit na lang namin agad, pero masyado akong nagwoworry at nalilito (ganun talaga yata ang feeling super excited).

Kasi nagpunta ako sa Dubai last June 2006 to Nov 2006... so 5months lang.
According to NVC site I don't need to Police clearance from Dubai kasi 5 months lang ako nagstay dun....

NVC SITE:
An applicant must obtain a police certificate from the local police authority:
IF you… lived in a different country for more than 12 months

Here's my problem, nagparenew na ako ng passport, but nasa old passport ko yung stamp nun pagpunta ako at pagalis from DUBAI, DO I NEED TO PHOTOCOPY AND SUBMIT IT?
OR wag na lang... yung photocopy na lang ng new passport ko? nalilito talaga ako...

Can anyone enlighten me...... please.

Bakit kailangan pa ipakita yung Dubai entry/exit?

mother is in the USA not yet a citizen. how long is it going to take for her to petition his 30 year old married son na nandito sa philippines? can she petition the son and her son's wife and baby all at once?

Kailangan US citizen to petition married sons/daughters. Ilang taon na ba mom mo dun? Pag citizen na sya, file for the petition and then wait maging current yung priority date (PD)

mom of a friend, nag papa-ask lang yung friend ko. i think greencard holder pa lang.. i have no idea kung gano na katagal dun yung mom niya. but if ever na citizen na and nag file na ng petition, meron ba kayong idea mga ilang years bago ma-approve yung petition? chaka pwde ba na yung mom din niya mag petition sa wife and baby niya? thanks in advance

petition for married sons and daughters may take sometime. take it from my mother's f3 petition, lola ko nagpetition and 16 years na wala padin, naging current last year but then it retrogressed. overaged na kaming mga kids nila di padin nagiging current.v

^^walang kasiguruhan kung kelan maapprove yung petition kasi nga mahabang hintayan. Automatic na kasama yung mga bata/apo basta hindi mag over age (21).

sis shopaholic, ganun na nga katagal petition ngayon

ano PD ng parents mo sis? suwerte pala sa mga nakaalis na less than 15 years lang inabot.. bakit ang tagal parang sinasadya yata eh.. ni review ko kasi mga cut off dates sa Philippines so what's the point na pabalik-balik pa mga PDs eh tagal ng tapos ang year na yun.. why they have to go back?

^^sis priority date namin feb 1995. current na siya october last year dahil pina expedite namin for my brother who's turning 21 last dec so that took 15 years sana kaso it retrogressed ayun ngayon diba mar 1992 na naman. overaged na kaming magkapatid actually, kaya baka more or less sina mom and dad nalang makukuha ng petition na yun, i really don't mind being overaged kasi i have my bf there, we're just hoping and praying na isama nila sa petition yung brother ko since nung nagpamedical sila last year and all kasama naman siya. if not i will just have to have a separate petition for my brother or kung mauna pa ko sa petition ng lola ko, i'm just gonna have to petition my parents as well...

according to vj, somebody with Jun 2008 PD F2A received an interview. so definite na yung 3 months movement.. sana forward pa.

yung mga sisses na may 2008 PD, try calling NVC. baka may schedule na kayo

In case na hanapin nila yung old passport mo, kumuha ka na din. It's better to be overprepared than kulang kulang lalo na pag na-interview na kayo. baka ma-hold pa pag-issue ng visa in the end.

Sis heto ang link for instructions. You need the date kung kelan na-issue ang Green card.
