ballet school for toddlers

Hello mommies, can anyone please suggest a baby ballet school for my 3 year old, near Eastwood po sana. Hopefully, a school that is not too strict for little kids, we had a bad experience kasi sa Effie Nanas Ballet.

Jho30: i was even considering Effie NAnas ballet school for my daughter when she turns 3yo. Kakatakot naman the way they reject kids.

sis jho@30 naiyak naman ako sa blog post mo  grabe naman yang ballet school na yan. Traumatic nga yan sa mga little girls. I have a 16 months old daughter and there's a ballet school nearby, I purchased a voucher from them and I would like my daughter to try it. Pero sana naman itong napili ko "happy one" Sis I hope you'll find a happy ballet class for your lil girl

this is not near eastwood but maybe you can try The School for Performing Arts. I just enrolled my daughter who's just 2.8 yrs old. She often does not stay in her place but she enjoys the class!

Pero noob kasi ako sa ganito (Piano and singing lessons lang nung bata) till we saw this offer sa cash cash pinoy sa School of Performing Arts.

This happened months ago.

I called SPA prior coming and they told me na my daughter can attend trial 1st before buying the voucher. I asked if we should be coming with a ballet uniforms na ba? and the girl said no muna, ang gagawin lang daw muna sa trial is manonood lang daw muna and to check kung magustuhan ng baby ko.

Since noob nga kami sa ganito (pero feeling ko tan*a-tan*a rin on my part) that trial day, my baby was just wearing her crocs flipswitch and simple dress.

When we get there, all the kids who will be joining the trial naka tutu na! Ang cute! and they joined the trial...yung baby ko ayaw sumali kasi she felt out of place na hindi sya naka tutu. Nainis lang ako kasi feeling ko nawalan ng pag-asa baby ko. We also expected na yung SPA isang malaking floor or room, maliit lang pala sya as in 1 room lang.

We never came back to SPA after that.

Then we got this call from Pink Toes, kasi we inquired thru email. Nakwento ko yung nangyari and they told me "ganun po talaga, sa amin even trial we require specially babies/toddlers na naka uniform na para ma feel na din po talaga nila ang ballet"

So we bought my baby a complete set na.

Then after a week or so, SPA called us asking if are we to enroll my baby. I told them na "sana you told us what to expect, kasi nagtanong naman ako....blah blah" (in a nice way naman)
The the girl from SPA said "ma'am sorry we're fairly new to this business kaya hindi pa naman matantya.." sabi ko na lang "Okay lesson learned na lang for you, pasensya na lang din kung hindi ko  muna dyan ma enroll baby ko".

^sis how old is your baby? Natakot naman ako bigla. My baby's 17 months old and we'll I mean she'll  be attending here first/trial ballet class this Saturday. Nag mall kami yesterday para maghanap ng uniform ni baby at ewan ko ba sa SM Fairview wala akong nakita kahit leotards for toddler wala sila. Argument pa with hubby kasi sabi niya since first time pa lang naman tignan daw muna yung mga uniforms ng babies eh ako naman ganyan din feeling ko, baka naman maleft out baby ko.  Kasi sa studio which is Twinkle Toes meron silang set na ballet uniform and sabi ni hubby kapag nagustuhan ni baby saka nalang kami bibili.

So ang outifit ni baby ko would be a white dress then leggings and flat shoes. Hmmmm. Ni walang tutu. I only have one day to decide. Sis where did you bought your baby's uniform?

Yes sis nakausap ko na rin mga taga twinkle toes, nice sila. May complete set na sila dun.

Wag kana matakot sis. Just come prepared. Balitaan mo kami

^sis today na kami no tutu for my baby.. Just a simple dress, sana naman maging okay trial namin. Will update this thread.

my 4 yo daughter has been bugging me since she was 2 if i can enroll her in ballet school. But since she has a tendency to tiptoe while walking, her rehab doctor said no to ballet cause her tiptoeing will be harder to correct. Now with angelina ballerina, she's bugging me almost everyday. I told her if she corrects her walking by end of the year, I'll enroll her to ballet school this summer

hi . my daughter Julia goes to Lisa Macuja-Elizalde's Ballet Manila Baby Ballet class. it's in Pasay City, along Donada street near Buendia/Taft. 

Julia's inspiration for wanting to dance ballet was Barbie's 12 Dancing Princesses.  but after watching Angeling Ballerina, she's addicted to ballet!  during her first few weeks in ballet school, she just wanted to stare at herself in the mirror, dance her heart away, and oblivious to the instructions of the teacher or what the class was already doing hehe. her first set of teachers allowed her to do this, and i'm happy that they gave her that space to just relish the thought that she is now a ballerina

her teachers now are much more focused on the lessons. they are able to call her attention, and make her follow instructions.

Hi, My twins are turning 3 yo and I am thinking of enrolling them to ballet school this summer, may alam po ba kayo sa fairview are aside from pink toes and twinkle toes? mejo malayo kasi samin, preferably lagro area lang, TIA

I'm enrolling my daughter in a ballet school this summer. We can get her attire from the school, php2k for shoes, leotards and tights. Ok Lang naman yung price. But I find the quality a bit flimsy. Even our yaya who used to have an alaga who attends ballet class echoes the same observation. How much will it cost to buy a set from outside stors kaya?

@japonica, sis hindi naman sobra strikto sa ballet manila? I'm considering kasi this school for my 5yo na sobrang kulit baka magaya kami dun sa nag-share last year na natrauma ang anak nya dun sa ballet school sa shang plaza.
