Sagada Thread 4

So excited for Sagada this coming Undas. what a good way to kickoff my birthday month.

Ako din ako din!!! uber excited na.. kaso away kami ni bf... pero ok lang.. keri ko naman mag isa   excited mode!

I haven't been to sagada in a very long time. Mukhang mostly adventure type ang packages na ino-offer dito. Mage-enjoy din ba dito ang senior citizens or yung mahina ang katawan kahit hindi mag-caving or sumama sa mga trekking? I imagine they'd be staying more near the central area or konting trek lang.

^ babalik ako sa november with my mom and bro (nainggit kasi nung pumunta kami last week ). hindi na siguro kami magttrek sa mahihirap kasi medyo thunders na rin nanay ko hehe.

^^ hehe mukhang ako muna ang pupunta, or at least wala munang kasamang tanders, nang makilatis mabuti kung kakayanin nila ang sagada.

eto din ang concern ko. i wanna go to sagada alone pero malamang di ako papayagan unless may companion ako. gusto ko sana isama ang mother ko. ano pa ba ang ibang activities na pwede maenjoy sa sagada except sa cave connection, etc. baka kasi di na kayanin ng mother ko.

^ Food Trip sis! Masarap kumain sa Sagada. Also you can visit other spots like Echo Valley, Hanging Coffins, sunrise watching at Kiltepan and the church. Actually kahit walang activity, masarap mag chillax sa Sagada.

^thank you sis! from what i read kasi, this cave connection takes six hours. di na carry ni mother yun, haha. I'm so excited na to go to Sagada kahit next year pa naman ang bakasyon ko. will be reading more on this thread for additional info.

^^ haha oo sis! pwede siguro mom mo dun lang sa bungad ng lumiang burial cave. tamang silip lang. madali at saglit lang yung trek papunta dun tska may hawakan yung trail.

Is swimming one of the activities under a trip to Sagada? Cause I can't swim to save my life but really want to visit the place.

^Nope. Not really for swimming. at least in my experiences I did take a dip in one of the falls there and I also got thrown down to the water in the Sumaguing caves several times, but I dont think those count as swimming.  Water-rafting, I've never tried.

I've made three visits to Sagada in a span of 10 years - first one was when i was still in the university and at an age where i tend to embrace anything and everything that doesnt remind me of the city. Sagada is an enchanted place, and I came to love it instantly. Ten years later and two more visits in between and I still haven't lost that sense of wonder for that place.  Call it exaggeration, but Sagada invigorates all souls. The greens, the air, the beautiful highlander people.

I was so entralled with the place that I thought about moving there and getting a teaching job at one of the schools there on my last visit haha

Sagada is life-changing! Grabe lang. I traveled solo last Oct 31-Nov 3. I met sis purpleblush and made some good friends! Looking at our photos makes me smile everytime. Never fails. Babalik ako, Sagada! Nakakabaliw ka!

3 years ago, BF & I went to Sagada on an off-peak season. It was first out-of-town trip together. We did cave connection for 2 hrs (We don't wanna do it again), went to the small falls (forgot the name), went closer to the Hanging Coffins. Marami pa kaming hindi napuntahan due to lack of time. 

After almost 4 years, we plan to go back there - as husband & wife na. We want to have our honeymoon there. Hehe! We can't wait!
