Hi Hanson15, how long ang duration ng pagtake ng masters degree actually depends on your pacing. I started mine in November 2010, until now hindi pa ako tapos. I'm taking 2 subjects per term, had 2 terms na tig 1 subject lang ako.

nag enrol ako this summer.. although super pagod sa work.. hnahabol ko kasi yun time.. mabilis lang kasi pag summer.. enrolled 2 subjects but whole saturday and sunday classes ko.. hopefully by oct mag graduate ako non-thesis.. saka ko na ituloy sa thesis.. nawalan na ko ng social life..

gusto ko rin mag non-thesis muna para at least it's accomplished then tuloy to thesis if kaya/gusto pa.

Yup, definitely. MBA for part-time, in my case, took me around 3 years to finish. I was a part-time student. Kung full-time ako malamang 1.5 or 2 years natapos ko na.

With my MA naman, almost 5 years na and hindi ko pa tapos, hehe. Part-time student din.  Although usually, ang nagpapatagal sa MA students ay thesis.

^yay. finally got in at UP's MTM program. it's the counterpart of MBA but more focused on Technology Entreprenuership

^wow congrats sis! I took my entrance exam sa ateneo last tuesday, sana makapasa... huhu... if ever na hindi para sakin yun, I'll try sa alma matter kong UST, siguro naman tatanggapin ako dun, LOL!

Nahirapan ako sa general info, 80 questions pa naman. Pero sabi ko nga sa hubby ko, kahit highschool grad kayang sagutan, yun nga lang time pressure.

After 2 weeks ba malalaman sis? Ichecheck ko ba sa website? Or may mag-eemail saken?

Thanks sis joie, would you know the url where I can check it? April 6 pa kasi nag-start ang entrance exam eh, pero baka siguro sabay sabay ni-rerelease ang result.

I think Superjoie is referring to MBA in Ateneo, not MA.

For MA sis glamorosa, they will send you a text message or call you if you passed. Pero what I did that time was called Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, and asked them if I passed.  Give it 3 weeks sis.

Ganun na lang ang gawin ko, 3rd week of May pa naman ang due date ng ust, wait ko na lang yung sa ateneo before applying sa ust kung sakali.

i have an igno question. i plan to take JD in law. can i take Master's after ir is the JD equivalent to a Master's degree? what is next for further studies then? thank you!

yey! naka enroll na po ako for MBA. june 15 start ng class every saturday 7-4pm.

sa alma matter lang ako nag enroll para mas madali, same student number lang, haha. mas mura pa dahil may 20% almuni discount.
