TAKING UP MASTER'S DEGREE

question! kasi i graduated fine arts major in advertising. i want to take up psychology. would i be looking for a course under undergraduate studies or would i go straight to offerings sa masters, with units na lang sa undergrad?

^^ sis shinsan, no need to take a 2nd course, mag-straight MA in Psych ka na.  My undergrad course was a management course, but decided to take up my MA in Psych.  I had to take several pre-requisite subjects; manageable naman.  In my case, a psych grad student with a psych undergrad usually takes 36 units for the entire MA program; while I took 42 units.  But depende pa rin sa ibang school. I took my MA in ADMU. Not sure how it works in other schools.

^Ako rin, I graduated with a degree in Psych pero diretso ako MA in Educ. May subjects lang na required ka kunin because I am not an educ major. So mas marami units compared dun sa mga educ majors na ng undergrad.

Hi sis, ok ba ang MA in psych?  How much ang fees sa ADMU?

When I took my MA, which was over 2 years ago, around 2,300 per unit. Ang isang subject, usually 3 units. 

The psych program in ADMU is good, but that also depends on which track you're after.  If you're into counseling and clinical psych, ADMU might be the best fit for you.  Pero nakukulangan ako sa research work eh, which is what I wanted to do before.

Hey, that's good to know. Pero ako kasi counseling track, and nakukulangan talaga ako sa research nila. Hindi lahat ng professors are doing research work, so kaunti lang ang opportunity for students who want to be an RA.  Sa ibang schools kasi (e.g. UP), ang mantra nila, publish or die.

hi sisses! ask ko lang how much per term ngayon sa DLSU-RCBC? if i computed it right, per term will range somewhere 20-25k, considering 6 units or 2 subjects lang...tama ba ko?

hi ladies. i'm a premed graduating student. however, i have doubts sa pagmemed. or let's just say i'm torn between medicine and business. sabi ng mother ko why not go to Ateneo Med since yung med nila is may kasamang MBA so paggraduate ko MD + MBA, but it's a NO-NO for me. hindi ko maeenjoy yung studies nun, ngayon pa nga lang sa premed suicide na paano pa kaya dun and i'm sure mappressure ako masyado nun baka magsawa ako agad or mag give up  so i guess in my case maspractical magtake muna ng MBA coz it's a way way way cheaper risk than med!  i have my own small business kasi (nail spa) and at the same time i work din sa company ng parents ko though informally--minsan secretary ako ng mother ko, minsan naman cashier and minsan sa HR dept etc and naeenjoy ko naman sya. so now, yung problem ko is how will i jump from a science degree to a business degree? i read from schools na dapat 2years work experience, will that be enough? i dont have any background sa business field. hope you could give me info and suggestions

Dito sa Pilipinas, meron bang Masters Program na Fashion-related? As in if I finish the course meron akong Masters Degree, not just a Diploma or Certificate.

Meron ba dito nagtatake ng Master of Public Health or Master of Science in Pharmacology sa UP Manila? Halos lahat kayo MBA. :-)
