Eto sis galing sa General Skilled Migration doc.

"Before you apply, you must have had your skills assessed as suitable for your occupation
by an assessing authority"

I had my skills assessment and already got  the results. Me checklist naman sa website kung ano mga kelangan i-submit na docs. 
I still have to take IELTS. Pero baka sa May na kase di pa ko nagrereview.    I think 2 weeks lang marerelease na agad yng results ng IELTS.

They changed the work limitation for student visa. Pero parang ganoon pa din. It's no longer 20 hrs per week ginawa na nilang 40 hrs. per forth night (2 weeks). Let's say naka 30 hrs. ka on your 1st week the ff. week 10 hrs. na lang.

thanks sis!  nabasa ko nga kagabe when i visited DIAC , curious din kase ako sa mangyayari sa July.  What occupation did u nominate?  im losing hope na of getting my skill assessed... too much effort for dentists, exams and all that.  baka magstudent na lang ako if ever, pero kung ready na ako umalis dito sa pinas.

Sis skylar-ddm, Australian Dental Council  yata ang assessing body for dentists. Prerequisite kasi yung positive assessment and IELTS (at least 6 depending on occupation) before you lodge your app on DIAC. If you have these and confident ka sa 65 points, no need na to apply for State Sponsorship. Apps yata submitted to DIAC after July 1 have to go through EOI na. Not sure, when they will start accepting applications for this. Parang may nagmention sa ibang forum na January 2013 na start yung processing ng apps under the new system.

^  hi sis tamarind!  thanks for the info.  yes, adc nga sa dentists.  ang mahal ng exams.  yung english test na required ng adc is OET - occupational english test and not just ielts.  ang mahal!  costs 780aud , around 32K php na.  i took it twice already, i passed it naman kaya lang it keeps on expiring kase i always delay taking the other exams administered by ADC.  and now, paexpire na naman yung OET ko and hindi ako naka-apply for the exam on september so that means if i want to push through with the assessment , i need to retake the OET again.  hay... 
if only i could skip the assessment... kase parang magpapass naman ako with 65 points eh.

^ Tiningnan ko nga yung requirements and steps you have to go through sis, medyo madugo nga. Unlike assessment ng ibang skills, isang bayaran lang and ok na after 1-5 months depende sa occupation. Ka stress mag apply for every requirement nila no. We're still waiting for hubby's assessment result. The wait is torturing us everyday and ang gastos talaga nakakaloka na... lol. Siguro sis, easier route for you is Student Visa.  Wish you luck din sis in your app.

^anong occupation mo or ng hubby mo ang ninominate nyo?  ang bilis lang kase sa engineers and mga programmers- pay the fees, send the docs, write an essay, tapos na!!!  kame, daming exams (pass or fail) tapos may deadline pa.  kakahinayang lang kase kasama naman sana yung dentists sa SOL kaya lang wala na talaga akong tyaga magreview. tapos di pa ako umabot sa march 1 deadline for the september exam. na-preggy kase ako tapos high risk pa so lahat ng gastos na-divert sa medical/hospital expenses ko.  nag-iipon lang ako ulit pero baka mag-student na nga lang ako kung decided na kame umalis.  otherwise, ill try out canada naman.  hehe!

@tamarind26. I hope hindi pa naman start processing under new sytem til July 2012. Wala akong makita sa AU immigration website na under new system na starting Jan 2012.    Haay, sana makahabol..

^ as posted above sis, sa January 2013 pa daw  maguumpisa yung processing for EOI if yung pag lodge ng app visa after July 1, 2012 na.

after almost 3-4 months of waiting, we finally got our permanent residence. it was sponsored by the company. we just need to update our pp to immigration for stamping daw.

we started from 457 working visa, then after 3 years we applied for pr and this is it. we're done on step 1. step 2 is to wait for another year for us to apply citizenship.

DH and I are building our first home here in Melbourne and we took the home and land package of Henley, just wanted to know if any of you guys have experience with them?Also, did you seek the assistance of a conveyancer or a solicitor?By the way, this is our first home and both of us have been here in Australia for 4 yrs, so we're still unfamiliar with some things/procedures they have here that's why I'm asking for your opinion. Sisses, talaga bang ganito kamahal ang cost ng Visa application for Visa 175 - 1st instalment (AU$2960), 2nd instalment  (AU$4110) ?

Ano ba ibig sabihin ng "The 2nd instalment of the Visa Application Charge for dependents aged 18 years or over with less than functional English must be paid before the visa is granted." ?

Aus 2960 lang sis. Yung 2nd installment applicable lang yun if yung dependents above 18, walang certification na English ang medium of instruction sa school.

Hi mga sis ask ko lang magkano kumuha ng working visa sa AU? kasi may tumawag sakin if ever ako yung makuha they will help me to get a visa but at my cost daw

we are based in SG. pag magrelocate ba kami to australia, do we need to ship all our things there? pano yung mga appliances such as tv? is it better ba kung ibenta na lang namin dito (pero palugi na yung value nun).

^hi sis.. yan din question ko if here kami sa Pinas mag-stay ng fiance ko. Sayo from SG to Aussie, us from Aussie to Phil. Ang hirap lalo na pag dadaan ng customs dito sa Phil, sayo mukhang no prob naman kasi to Aussie.. Advice samin ilagay daw sa container or box.. May mga staff na nag-aayos ng mga ganun sa Aussie kung sakaling mag-transfer di ko lang lam kung anong tawag. Di ko rin sure kung matuloy kami kasi sayang tv namin 63 inches baka kung ano lang mangyari.
