Im not sure if DIAC skill test is the same with the skills assessment.
You are required to pass a skills assessment if you will apply for 175 or 176 visa.

There will be major changes on visa application this July so start gathering information now and have your skills assessment done soon.

Mga sis, anyone here na nurse sa australia? Share naman po kayo paano po kayo nakapunta and ano2 pong mga requirements ang kinumpleto nyo muna pati na din mga agencies.. Haay gusto ko na din po kasing makapag trabaho abroad, once na magka xp na ko try ko nang sumubok mag apply..

sis @yanmae naghahanap ka po ba nang hospital work experience? naghahanap po kasi ako nang makakasama sa work and makakahati sa apartment, kasi sa Batangas po yung magiging work ko on late Feb or early March ang start as volunteer nurse for 3months then regular na, kakilala kasi nang pinsan ko from States yung kapatid nung may-ari nung hospital. Medyo nalilito ako kung ano magging step ko, kung derecho Aussie na ba pag na-approve yung visa<fiance type then mag-shishift to spouse visa para makapag-work> or kuha pa din nang experience....

hi sis binx! same situation tayo. I'm planning to apply for Skilled Independent (Migrant) Sub Class 175 this year (hopefully, before mag-change yung procedures/requirements sa visa applications on July 2012). I'm already preparing my documents for the skills assessment sa ACS.  I'm also reviewing na for IELTS while preparing the docs.

I'm also planning to apply for a state sponsorship. Napili ko is Victoria since my skill is included in their occupation list. I've been to Melbourne before and I enjoyed my stay there. I did not feel any racism.  The people there are quite friendly. =)

Hi sis.. What do you mean po na naghahanap ka po ng makakasama sa work? To your question, yes po naghahanap po ako ng hospital experience kasi naman lahat po ng hospitals pati na din requirements to work abroad eh kailangan may atleast 2 years working xp sa hospitals..

Sis if may opportunity ka po na makapagtrabaho abroad go ka na dun.. Pero alam mo napakagandang opportunity din yang offer sayo. Wala kang talo kung alin man ang choice mo

sis, ng-aaccept sila ng volunteer nurse and yes kahit wala pangng experience. kung gusto mo sis samahan kita. let me know kung when mo gusto.
what i mean is naghahanap ako ng makakasama sa work <same job as volunteer nurse>and sa apartment new place kasi para sa akin.

where in adelaide are you? my hubby and I are migrating there on Feb 17, 475 ang visa namin, state sponsored. i'm quite worried about living there, of course wala kasi kaming kilala and I don't know if we can cope sa environment at sa mga tao. I live in the northern suburbs.. hindi naman kalayuan sa city.. medyo north but not totally north north. Dont worry, mababait sila dito and friendly. Australia is not ranked the 2nd friendliest country for nothing

sorry I dont know any rental places na mura lang.. just go to www.realestate.com.au and search ka na lang kung ano ang price na ok for you

im planning to visit australia this april..kaso im currently unemployed nor a student..ano pa kaya yong proof of evidence na pwede ko ipakita na babalik ako pinas aside from certificate of employement? i already have letter of invitation, bank statement and land title..

pwede kaya yong smartbro contract ko ipakita as proof na babalik ako sa pinas hehe..kasi me one year pa akong remaining contract sa smartbro bago ko putulin [textspeak!] connection ko lol..

im planning to stay sa bf house for 2 or 3 months sa aus..hope you can give me some inputs..^TIA

long stay ang 2-3 months for a visitor. ako, visitor visa ang nagrant pero 1 month lang ang inapply ko, takot kasi ako baka ideny ang 3 months (gusto kasi ng mom ko magstay ako ng 3 months pero ayoko).

ako nung pinasa ko requirements ko, currently employed pa ko pero ayoko na talaga sa office namin. nung naapprove na sya dun ako nagresign.

in your case unemployed ka kamo? but if you say na related ka pa sa smart, does that mean employed ka? kasi they might do a background check by calling your office. in my case hindi naman sila tumawag sa office.

wala akong pinasang proof of financial capability (like titulo ng lupa, credit card statement etc). yung tito ko nagbigay ng statutory declaration nag submit sya ng bank statements nya, yun ang proof na kaya nila ako suportahan sa bakasyon ko with them.

may tatak na SG na rin yung passport ko, evidence din yun na may capacity ako to travel. + points sa embassy ng AU. hehe.

kakabalik ko lang from sydney after a month vacation, and i must say--ang sarap ng buhay dun as in! gusto ko na ngang bumalik for good hahaha!

hindi ako employee ng smart sis..what i mean is my contract ako ng smartbro plan sa kanila hehe..kaya this is my big problem..baka madeny yong visa ko kasi wala ako proof of evidence na babalik ako ng pinas although babalik naman talaga ako ..try ko nalang siguro mag apply baka sakaling makapasa..(

may kamag-anak si hubby sa sydney pero hindi yata pwede magsponsor so parang ang chance niya is mag-aaply sa ibang place ng australia, pero wala pa yata work yun, migrate lang. takot niya, baka maubos na savings tapos hindi pa siya nakakahanap ng work kaya nagdadalawang isip ituloy yung application niya kaya hindi na rin kumuha ng IELTS. hindi ba mahirap maghanap ng work dito?

depende sa type ng visa mo...yung akin kasi nakalagay 30 days lang maximum stay, no further stay.
