i attended an orientation for nurses in australia. they will send us to australia for bridging program for 12-13weeks. it cost Php720k-750k for the processing, tuition fee, application, food&lodging for 3months, airfare & visa. after the 3months, we'll get the certificate and we can apply jobs na. It involves big amount of money. Kaya i'm really thinking about it. Is it possible to get hired in a short period of time, like 1-2months of job hunting? Do you have vacant jobs for nurses? I hope someone can answer me

i understand medyo matagal na process now,
dati kasi months lang, pero ngayon ata year na
or more than pa. we are newly weds with no
relatives in australia. for now, ipon muna kami
ni hubby and pray na wag naman super tagal
ng process.

Hello mga sissesn can you suggest part time jobs na hindi masyado required ang experience aside from grocery and fast food?nahihirapan na kasi ako maghanap,and my aunt is a bit discouraging kasi yung mga jobs na need ng certificate willing naman ako mag aral kaya lang she's not convinced na magtatagal ako kasi daw based sa observation nya di pa daw ako marunong.nakakafrustrate talaga.

^kelangan muna kasi dito talaga work experience... normally, talagang nasa hospitality ang 'first' job e. When I was still studying, I used to work part time for Subway. When I graduated, shempre I looked na for a job related to the course I took.

Ganyan din tito ko, cuz I wanted to learn culinary arts. Di ko daw kakayanin laging nakatayo etc etc. HELLO??!?! Sa subway ba nakaupo kami? Hindi no! Nakatayo ako dun for 8 hours aside from break times hehe! But then again, 3x a week lang yun. Pero kahit na, ayaw na ayaw ko nangmamaliit sakin.

^same here.although she explained na kasi daw kahit may training pg first day palang daw may mali na,bbye na.nakakainis talaga kasi ako kung d matanggap magapply sa iba at least natuto eh mukang she's not willing to pay for the training.

^di mona need ng agency para makapunta [textspeak!] as skilled independent visa, magonline ka lang at i complete mo ang mga papers, den ipass mo lang ang application den wait for your approval though aabutin ng matagal din yun, pero kung mag fiance visa ka naman, mas madali but once you get here you need to marry your fiance within 9 months or else balik pinas ka ulet. goodluck!

hello i'll be going to australia tom and may questions lang ako. i want to use my blackberry but masyado malaki ang charge for roaming, so I'm planning on buying a sim card there. could you reccommend kung anong maganda or preferred nyo and yung mas ok sa bb. pati yung rates? and details how to use it?

^^I can't advise you with which bank offers a lower fixed interest rate kasi di ko rin sure ... why don't you try to meet up with mortgage broker? Before we bought our house, naku 1-2 yrs before buying it palang, nakikipagmeet na kami sa broker asking how much we can borrow, best bank for our situation, repayment etc etc.

^I don't know if you can use the BIS if you're using a prepaid sim. Postpaid lang ata pwde gamitin ang BIS dito... of course, you can still use wifi naman but of course, kung hindi hot spot, walang net connection wala pa akong nakikita or naririnig na naka BB kasi na naka prepaid sim. Pag postpaid, for example my contract with my BB torch, $79 per month for 2 yrs.

If you're holding a tourist visa you are not allowed to work. KULONG katapat nyan or ma block listed ka pa. At never ever bring with you certificates like TOR or certificate of employment kasi mag dududa ang immigration sayo. seen some asian on Border Security na ganito ang mga dinala. for more info about working here in australia go to www.immi.gov.au
