Best Primer for the eyes and face ( thread 4 )

Yes, sis. I bought it locally- sa PCX Loreal counter. I bought it December pa and I'm not sure sa price but if I'm not mistaken more or less 1,000. Pero andaming laman, I think I will get tired of it lang before I consume the whole jar. I assume it's the exact same product as the Magic Perfecting Base, marketing strategy lang that's why the name is different here.

@Sis Stella_r - Sis iisa lang ba size ng Loreal Base Magique? Maybe i should get one to try it out for myself . Super oily rin skin ko and never used primer ever since. Next week may special occasion and nakakahiyang may oily skin ko.

Sis ask ko lang kung hindi ba siya mainit sa skin? kasi nowadays super init ng weather natin. Medyo pawisin ako so is it advisable ba for me?

I finally saw my former HG eye primer, Art Deco. P450 siya at nakakatuwa at binalik ulit siya!

Sis kapareho ba siya ng nars? Sobrang oily ng lids ko pero kaya siya ng nars. Kung kapareho siya ng nars ito na lang bibilin ko since mura

primer ba is almost same as tinted moisturizer? ano kayang ok na primer if pawisin ang face.. like me, a few minutes after i apply sunblock na vmv face cover, pinapawisan na face ko. minsan tuloy ayoko na mag sunblock:(

mas silky/velvety ang finish ng primers sis. ive observed that primers are least absorbed by the skin so they have this effect na it sits on top of the skin.

some girls will note that some TM's act like primers --- that's in reference to a TM's ability to stay put for a longer period of time.

I love my paul and joe eye primer. Too bad wala na daw siya sa rustans. Lime Crime eye primer is very good also

Yes sis! Yung Art Deco talaga ang HG primer ko kaya nalungkot ako nung nawala na siya. Siya din HG primer ni sis strawberryswitchblade. Naghanap tuloy ako ng iba at na-discover ko yung sa NARS. Sayang lang may backup ako ng NARS (praning na mawala din siya tulad ng Art Deco) tapos biglang binalik naman tong Art Deco haha Ingat ka lang pala sa Art Deco ha kasi may tendency na tumigas siya. Wala pa rin akong remedy dun sa akin eh.

@Sis cassidy02- same tayo sis, pawisin rin ako. That's one of my big problem. Pawisin so i end up having oily face. I hope okay yung Loreal Magique primer. Will buy it later. Tomorrow is my big day and hope it turns out well. Please loreal Magique primer makisama ka sa special day ko .

Primer is different with tinted moisturizer, primer is a base lang, it provides a smooth canvas to work on. While tinted moisturizer is an alternate form of foundation, so its more of a foundation and totally different from a primer.

sis, i have extremely oily skin and i tried the magique base. it provides a smooth base for the foundation but sadly it didn't help to keep my oilies at bay akaya ayun di ko na siya masyado ginagamit.

^aww. so what are you using now for oil control? hirap pa naman pag mainit, pag pawisin nagiging oily ang dugyot tingan

i use krave oil eliminator as a primer and a finishing powder pag sinisipag pero most of the times i use na lang a long wearing foundation and set it with a mattifying loose powder. i use either mufe, mehron, ben nye tapos pag kelangan talaga full coverage, i use a powder foundation to set. i just spritz mist and fix after para di masyado powdery.

i also at times use model in a bottle and urban decay deslick which are setting sprays kaso i dont like using them everyday.
