Authentic VS Replica Bags

My mom has a friend who is richie rich, drives a BMW, has branded bags and stuff but she secretly mixes high end replicas with her originals as no one would notice daw. her thing, never would be my thing but just pointing out that not everything you seem deemed authentic is really authentic

True parang hindi worth bilhin yung 10-20k na fake kasi sa outlet stores pag nag sale sila for that price makakakuha ka na ng original like coach.

Yung nag bebenta sa internet na sobra mura MK feeling ko fake lalo na pag bago at popular design kasi wala naman ganon model sa outlet stores and hindi nag sa sale ng ganon ka mura yung mga high end brands. Usually yung maganda MK 25k up sa stores tapos dito sa manila ibebenta ng 7k. Yung mga nag sasabi factory surplus, factory defect, singapore kaya mura mga fake yun

Meron MK talaga na mabibili for 7k. Was able to buy an MK bag for a little over 6k. Authentic cause it was bought in Macy's. This was during the MK sale. Medyo mas mahal kasi pag dito sa Asia. Kaya advice ko would be to have someone buy it pagmagsale. Usually inaannounce yan. Sa US they sometimes allow pagmagsasale na bilhin mo na yung item before the sale date. Ganyan nangyari sa MK na binili ko. 1 week before the sale date, binili na with the discounted price. Yun nga lang, sa day ng sale pa nakuha yung bag. But still, parang pinareserve mo lang so okay naman.

Better buy authentic. Iba ang feeling pag alam mong authentic ang bag na gamit mo.

^sis duda rin ako sa nagbebenta ng MK bags na 7k. Tas same ang price on all models even sa selma and hamilton. Kasi even if it was bought on sale sa US, say around 6k, shempre they should add pa the shipping fee, taxes, and yung "kita" pa nila. So kung ibebenta nila ng 7k, wala na sila tutubuin. Kaya nasasayangan ako sa 7k tas hindi naman pala authentic. Ang mahal nya para sa fake bag ha.

^If it's too good to be true, then it's usually not. Kaya ako I don't buy online. Unless kilala ko yung seller, pwede ko makita yung goods in person before buying or sa mismong site ng brand ako bibili. And para gumastos ng 7K for fake, no thanks.

Pero sabi nga nung friend ko, nung nagHongkong sila, meron daw talagang mga class A na fake goods ang binebenta na umaabot sa 20K. Sinusunog daw para pakita na real leather. Pero still, andami ko ng bags na pwedeng bilhin na branded for that price at leather pa. Dun nalang ako. May nakita nga akong Mulberry na nung nagsale nasa 20K lang. (sayang lang at OOS na nung nakita ko )

Agree sis, pero makikita mo naman sa stitches yun difference between replica and original. Dami na nga rin IG sellers na nagbebenta na nilalagay pa na Authentic items nila then pag tinanong kung sa galing sasabihin sa mismo factory kaya mababa price, why not just state if overrun. Though it's reallly pricey to pay thousand bucks for replica when you can have an original one of other brands. I also visit one blog where instead of buying a Louis Vuitton bag she ended up buying 10 Michael Kors bags instead, inggit much

The Bag Hag Diaries also posted something like that na mahirap iconfirm agad yung authenticity unless you're intimately familiar with the brand.

So, beware of buying online kung di niyo personally kilala yung seller. When in doubt, don't. "If the price is too good to be true, it probably is."

I just bought my first Chloe Paddington off Ebay.It's in a pristine condition considering 8 years old na yung bag (or maybe more).The lady I bought it from said she has no idea if it's for real (thats why she can't really pass it off as authentic, but all she knows is, it was 2006 collection)but she can confirm it's real leather and hindi nya nagagamit palagi (2nd owner na siya so that means it's actually closer to 9 years old) and super linis and kinis pa and for a cream colored bag,it's really a find! I don't care anymore if it's the real deal hindi naman na "it" bag of the moment. For me as long as real leather yung bag, okay na ako kasi there are vintages that are 20+,30+ years old and kung hindi real leather ang ginamit, malamang naluray na I agree the craftsmanship of the fakes are really stepping up their game and lalong mahirap na ngayon i-authenticate ang bag (more so if we're talking vintage).I'm not reselling my bags, I buy them for the plain fact I enjoy fnding them and using them.

I don't get people who buy replica bags for the sake of show-off. Nagmumukha tuloy trying hard/social climber. Mahal din ang replica ah. Parang di naman worth it na gumastos kung fake din naman. I can't afford designer bags so instead I buy branded bags from Guess and Mango. Maganda rin naman and nagtatagal yun bag. Saka na un mga designer bag kapag afford ko na talaga.

Real ones sis yun top zipper nia is silver and yun sa lock pag tiningnan mo is parang mushroom. Naglabas ulit ng paddington yun Chloe, pero mabigat kasi dun sa lock pa lang.

I seriously don't get replicas.  I mean for me kasi I'll buy branded bags (or hubby buys me branded bags, mostly LVs)... sulit din naman kasi sila.  Pero bumibili din ako ng mura na bags but not replicas, sakin if I don't have the budget eh di bibili nalang ako ng mas mura na bag na maganda din at super like ko ang style kesa naman bibili ako ng replica (others may not know pero ikaw alam mo diba) specially if you're travelling, mahuli ka pa hehe....

The lowest price that she got for those brands nasa P1500 to P1800 lang and she has over 2000 positive feedbacks na. Guaranteed authentic and were all bought from the USA daw. Based on her prices, malayo ba masyado sa price ng mga items in malls. Hindi naman kaya fake? Thanks for the inputs
