hay.. this used to be my dream bag. i have always wanted a chanel bag and when i can finally afford to buy one, my fiance managed to "kill" that desire and instead encouraged me to invest on diamond jewelry instead. oh well... maybe someday

hi sisters! I need your help...the leather of my one and only Chanel bag, a Cambon, is peeling off/nagtutuklap. I went to Besa's last Saturday and the person there recommended that the leather be replaced...hindi na raw kasi madadaan sa recolor. She (the person at Besa's) said that they'd replace it with calf skin and that they'd retain all the hardware. They'd also try raw na i-perfect yung stitching at lining. It would cost P10,000.

Whaddya think sisters? P10,000 din yun. I'm just scared na pag gumastos na ako ng P10,000 sa pag reconstruct at nasalubong ko si sis bag_snob, she'll wrinkle her nose, hehe. ayoko namang magmukha png fake yung chanel ko. Newbie pa kasi ako when it comes to designer bags so i badly NEED your advice.

^Try mo pa-check sa Vintage Restore sa Makati baka maayos nila although no guarantee na mare-restore nila yung bag mo to its original condition. HTH

^^Is Vintage Restore better than Besa's?

Another query mga sis...someone's selling me a Chanel flap (they actually have a store that sells second hand designer bags, much like Free Tags in Alabang). They swear each of their items is authentic (except for the Birkin bags), but I want to be SURE. Ang concern ko, parang walang hologram yung flap na ibinibenta nila. May mga Chanel ba talaga na walang hologram? TIA!

^Try them both sis pero sa Vintage Restore pa lang ako nakapag palinis ng mga designer bags (Chanel, LV etc). Impression ko kasi is mas forte ng VR yung bags kasi gumagawa din sila ng bags at binebenta sa store nila. Btw I just remembered nagpaayos na pala ako ng shoes and nagpalinis ng isang nine west bag sa kanila before, okay naman yung gawa. Natanggal yung dumi sa bag ko.

Hi girls! what are your thoughts on the "in the business" flap? I love its size kahit hindi ko pa sya nakita irl but I find it nice. What's holding me back lang is the vinyl material. Parang di worth it kasi for the price BUT its definitely low maintenance. I have a medium flap kasi in lambskin and it really breaks my heart everytime I scratch it

Are you in US right now? My hubby is going there on the 29th and pwede ako pabili. I want the leather na lang siguro in caramel or red. May stocks pa kaya? Which saks branch did you see it? I'm so torn between that and the just mademoiselle

Foxy, caviar talaga is the best. I have a GST in black and I'm thinking nga of getting a beige but super afraid naman ako of light colored bags. I think I'll just wait for their FW collection. Baka may lumabas na navy with ghw na JM or GST or ITB but in calf skin/caviar

Let me know if you will go sa west coast (LA, Vegas) and if may makita ka na caramel/red ITB in calf skin.. thanks!!!
