doc she, its smaller than a marble po. i gained weight po kaya di ko masyado madetermine yung size kase parang sumasama yung fat kapag pinepress ko but what i'm sure of is maliit sya when compared to a marble.

takot naman ako mga sis. di ako marunong ng self breast examination. para po kasing normal na may lump sya e. and hindi din sumasakit. [textspeak!] kasi kinakapa ko sya at the wrong time. best time ba to examine is 7-10days after mens po? docshe, san po clinic nyo? intellicare po yung card ko..

Greenaholic-as long as you have the breast mass monitored by your surgeon and an ultrasound then I don't think there's any problem with that.

Iron lady- you are absolutely right. Best time to examine and do any diagnostic test is 7 to 10 days from day 1 of menses. Yes I am Intellicare accredited.

hindi ba dapat everyday ka nag self breast exam.... i do it everyday whenever i take a bath

Pretty barbie- once a month  doing your breast exam is recommended.

doc she question po, yung sister ko may 2 lumps both breast and masakit sya , is it true po ba na pag masakit means cancerous?nagpa ultrasound na sya sa makati med and next week pa ang result, kinakabahan kami kasi hanggang sa likod nya nararamdaman nya ang sakit,kahit tumatawa or umubo sya sobrang sakit daw

Jhandee- contrary to that, breast cancer s not painful. Pain may be due to hormonal changes. Another myth is, breast masses is not at all related to her back pain. I would sugges for peace of mind, to consult a surgeon.usually breast ultrasound results are available the next day.

hi, sisses and doc. my aunt (one of my mom's sisters) has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. all of our family are sort of in shock because she's the first and only one sa family namin who has gotten cancer. she lives in the US with all my other titas, titos and cousins. kami lang yung nandito sa phils.

i really want to help my tita but i feel like there's not much i can do since ang layo namin. all i can really do is send her emails with words of encouragement but sometimes i just don't know what to say. for those who have gone through this, ano yung mga narinig niyo or sinabi sa inyo na talagang naka-encourage or nakapagpalakas ng loob niyo? i'd really appreciate your insights.

doc, ask ko po sana, lets say sa mammo and ultrasound positive na may lumps. ano pong next procedure - test for cancer na?  (out of the country kasi yung doctor ko ngayon kaya di ko pa po ma-itanong eh.)
