You may also want to include Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa on your itinerary.

Dubai Mall - biggest mall here in UAE, with big Aquarium
Burj Khalifa - may viewing deck, at night naman meron din dancing fountain.
You may also take a walk in that vicinity sa may The Address Hotel, The Place magkakatabi lang naman yun. Kahit walang reservation dati pwede pumasok dun.

Pwede din kayo magcruise (public transpo) from Bur Dubai passingby Atlantis, then Dubai Marina.
aside from the traditional Dhow short ride. Para ka narin nag Yacht Cruise.

Include Mall of the Emirates din pala if you want to experience Indoor Snow experience.

Napakadaming Malls dito. 

Infairness naman sa UAE, madami din talaga pwede gawin dito. Yung nga lang if you live here for nearly 6 years parang nakakasawa.

I discourage you to come here during hot summer. Why? Kasi halos wala kayo magagawa outside with the temperature 40 - 50 degrees. Aside from init sobrang Sandstorm di mo ma enjoy ang pagpicture.

Dec - March yan malamig lamig pa.Ngayong April it's still warm in the morning and cold at nights. Pero isang hakbang na lang palapit na naman ang kinakainisan kong weather - Super Dry and Humid.

was in dubai last december and had a good time

for the visa questions, why don't you course your applications with a travel agent? that's what we did and it was a breeze for us. just filled out the forms and we were given invitation letters by the agent based in dubai anda copy of our visa. the visa kasi is unlike sa US or sa Europe na nakadikit sa passport. it's bond paper sized and make sure to have a photocopy of it.

hassle lang when you get there, there is an eye scan and the arabs are so slow! parang pinoy na they chat and chat and chat. one of our kasama who's a 6ft 15 year old boy had to go back down kasi the person taking the eye scan forgot to scan his eye!

mga sisses, im applying for visit visa sa dubai,agency dun ang magayos ng papers ko and yung kakilala ko sa consulate, is it possible na pumayag consulate na 2 ang sponsoran nung kakilala ko, kasi balak nya kami pagsabayin ng pinsan nya eh. and mga sisses, saan ba nagpapatatak or nagpapaauthenticate ng mga naka red ribbon na documents sa uae embassy dito sa pinas or duon sa dubai?. and ano requirements para matatakan mga documents ko? thanks so much!.

Change of plans ulit kami. We've decided to book with Cathay instead of Emirates. Medyo malaki kasi difference. Sa Cathay kasi, PHP 41,000 lang yung roundtrip while sa Emirates PHP 54,000. Cheapest na nga ata talaga yung Cathay kasi yung Etihad PHP 54,000 din.

For the accommodation naman, Coral Boutique kami. Malapit kasi siya sa Burj Al Arab and Mall of the Emirates sabi sa map. May metro station din nearby. Also, erviced apartment siya so mas malaki yung units compared to hotel rooms. For the price, sulit na. Sa Agoda nga, mga PHP 5,000 lang per night.

Sa Coral Boutique na lang namin papaprocess VISA namin. AED 600 yung fee plus AED 5,000 security deposit. Copy of passport and application form lang kailangan i-submit so no hassle. Sa Emirates kasi, andaming requirements. Pero syempre one week prior to our arrival nila iproprocess yung VISA. Nakakatakot pag biglang dineny kami.

hello mga sis. im planning to visit dubai on january 2012. visit visa lang sana kaso wala kaming idea ni hubby paano ba [textspeak!] process? how much ang fees? si hubby nga pla is working in dubai and nasa 5kaed lang yong salary nya. pwede kaya isponsor nya ko? how much kaya yong feess and others payments if ever? need ba may ticket na once na nag apply ng visa?

• Typed Application form
• A copy of the sponsor’s passport & family member's passport
• 1 photo of the family member (may be required)
• Marriage contract attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs or UAE Embassy (for sponsoring a wife or husband)

^^ We will be applying for VISA through the hotel. Included na sa AED 600 application fee namin yung insurance. Pacheck mo na lang sa hubby mo kung pano yung sayo. I was told kasi not to rely on online sources regarding requirements and procedures in acquiring a UAE Visa kasi inconsistent ang mga sites na yan. Iba yung may nakausap sya mismo sa agency na mag-grant ng VISA mo.

mga pinoy lang ang nagcecelebrate ng christmas dito. tsaka yung ibang catholic, christians na ibang citizen. :-)

palaging may SALE dito. pero ang big sale ay sa january (dubai shopping festival) at sa june (dubai summer sale). this october GITEX naman, (sale ng mga electronics).

Meron na bang nakatry makapag-uwi ng 40-42" na LED TV? Plan ko kasing icheck-in pag uwi ko sa pinas, wala kasing may alam sa mga napagtanungan ko kung may tax na babayaran at kung meron man magkano? (%). TIA!
