Visit Visa cost, I have no idea at all. kasi nagbago na yung price nya nung recession. Tumaas lahat ng government fees. They also require medical insurance also.

Ask our UAE girltalkers sa kabilang thread ng Dubai/UAE they could tell you.

Now 26 - 28 degrees ang range, which is feeling winter na kami! 
Isipin mo na lang nasa Baguio City proper ka, parang ganun na lamig lang. Mainit parin naman minsan sa tanghali. Hindi kelangan sobrang patong patong na damit or super furry na jacket. Ako cardigans lang lagi or light knitted coat.

This year hindi sya lumamig unlike the past years, kapag start ng November below 20 sya dati.

Ang weather sa UAE especially summer reaches 50 degrees IMAGINE ganun kainet!

Iba ang inet ang iba ang lamig dito compared sa Pinas. Sa pinas kapag mainet, tagaktak at malagkit ang Pawis. Dito kili kili lang ang pagpapawisan not the whole body! weird noh!

Yung lamig naman dito is malamig itself pero most of the times walang kasamang hangin. May days din na windy and foggy dito.

Just wear comfortable clothes, kung lamigin ka bring extra jackets.

Promise di naman sya ganun kalamig!

These are local websites, honestly preferred ng employers nandito na and with Gulf Experience.

Swertihan talaga, malay mo makatyempo ka ng willing ihire ka directly from Ph. Di mo na need mag gamble to come here on visit visa.

And by looking at those site are really helpful lalo na sa jobhunters. Atleast you could get a glimpse of working situatiuon here like Jobs available, Salary range, job responsibilities, which companies are hiring and those things.

Background Research By all means, kelangan mo gawin to equipped you well. Wag ka aasa tulong ng iba, at the end of the day your success is all up to you.

naku mukhang hindi muna ko magnurse pagdating jan, kasi naman two months pa pala antayin ko for exam, eh diba two months lang din visit visa, so magiba muna ko ng job pero sa hosp din para pag nakapasa lipat na lang ako nursing department. thanks alot sis adikako!

I think AED11K is fine for a couple. You said libre na lahat so I would assume provided na accomodation,water/electricity,transpo,(food allowance ba meron din?) kasi ang mahal lang naman sa UAE is accomodation talaga lalo na sa Abu Dhabi which is more expensive than Dubai.

^ Thanks sis. Yes, libre na food, accomodation and transport. Pinagiisipan pa ni hubby  if family status ang offer kasi 2 months work, 15 days off ang rotation. Ang mahal kasi if uwi sya lagi ng Pinas after 2 months, baka maubos lang sweldo sa airfare.

^ may I ask lang sis, kung tuloy ba si hubby mo, kaw lang kasama or may kid kayo?
 mas ok talaga if family status kasi pag hinde ei baka medyo mahirapan kayo. ang magyayari kasi kung di nya makuha family stat tapos sa company accomodation sya, ibig sabihin nun for single person lang yun,sa kanya lang. Pero may mga companies naman kasi na accomodation allowance ang binibigay tapos sya na bahala maghanap ng accomodation na gusto nya. May iba naman,sa company mismo nakapangalan ang lease contract ng flat/villa na tinitirhan nila, so it doesn't matter kung solo ka or may pamilya na kasama.
btw, ayos yung work nya ha. 2 mos. work then 15 days break? sarap naman nun

At present kasi, same sweldo siya dito sa Manila pero di free yung food and accomodation kaya malaki rin ang gastos. Laki pa tax dito sa atin. Kaya lang niya kinoconsider yung offer sa UAE kasi free lahat and yung company talaga ang kumuha sa kanya. Pero if di niya rin lang ako maisasama, doble gastos pa rin kasi we have utilites and rent to pay here pa.

^Oo naman sis, lahat pwede i-negotiate  ask hubby to let the employer know na he's coming here with you para maconsider naman things like accomodation.

Sa engineering field ba hubby mo sis? He's lucky na company from UAE pa talaga kumuha sa kanya ha. Dami kayang kabayan  dito na struggling pa rin to find a job after nagsara/nagbawas mga previous companies nila.Not to mention those na pumunta dito with visit visa para makahanap ng work. And for him to be given AED11K and libre lahat, that's quite  a good offer.

^Thanks for answering my queries sis ha. He's an engineer pero yung work niya is more on managing his crew. Offshore based yung work kaya 2 months on /15 days off ang rotation.

i've been wanting to got o dubai and look for a job. kasi nawawalan nako paga sa dito sa pilipina sna magkakasweldo pa ako. haha. nurse kasi ako and up to now trainee parin, kaso diko alam paiskot sikot ng processing sa dubai, balak ko sana punta ako dubai tapos dun na hanap ng work kahit hindi pang nurse, stepping stone lang. if anyone here na matutulungan ako in any means i would be very grateful mga sisses. thanks!

Sis ronalee, you need to have enough working experience. I'm not very familiar, pero I had a flatmate who used to work in saudi then she came here on a visit visa, took a qualifying exam sa Min. of Health then landed a job afterwards.

For me, DUBAI (UAE) is the shopping capital of the middle east!

I love it! Food, shopping, pasyalan, and all.

I've been here 3times already. Yung pinaka-last ay nung Feb. Nung pinasyal ako ng friend ko sa outlet stores, grabe nag-uwi ako ng 5shoes in two days shopping at a very cheap price.

Sa mga naghahanap ng hotel/accomodation, I highly recommend GRANDEUR HOTEL near Mall of the Emirates.

I might go back on May again.

There's a probability that I'll be visiting Dubai later this year. My bestfriend just got hired as a nurse in Dubai so pinapapunta ko don. At first, hesitant ako kasi naiimagine ko - super hot, desert, camels, and people na covered from head to toe.

BUT...

Last night, I did some preliminary research on Dubai and I'm forever changed. Wow. The city looks so nice. Architecture is insanely wonderful. Ang ganda ganda talaga. I was so pleased to find out that they're pretty much open to any race and religion. In addition, over 80% of the entire population are foreigners.

Accdg to my nurse na friend, walang pakialam yung tao sa isa't isa don (in a positive sense). Kahit magshorts ka or tumumbling ka sa metro railway, di nila papakialaman trip mo. Furthermore, mababa daw crime rate don.

Hay, I am soooo excited! From Dubai, malapit na Abu Dhabi, Doha, etc. Gusto ko ng picture sa desert!

Right now, best bet ko na airline is Emirates. USD 1,133 net roundtrip fare MNL-DBX. No stops, 8hr45mins. If magtitipid ako, cheaper ng konti yung China Southern Airlines and Gulf Air pero may mga stops. Siguro 5 days lang ako don so I can't afford na maaksaya oras ko sa layover.

Hi sis! I guarantee that you won't be disappointed once you visit Dubai. It's a very modern city with a lot to offer, a diverse mix of nationalities and a tolerant culture. But inspite of the freedom, every tourist or expat are reminded to respect the religious and traditional beliefs of this muslim country. Like bawal ang alcoholic drinks, attire that shows too much skin, and PDA for couples..   So yes there's a certain degree of freedom, but in a responsible way.

In any case, don't ever miss desert safari adventure, all-in na yun: merong sand dune-bashing in a 4x4, camel-ride, barbecue dinner and belly-dancing, plus some more extras. After touring Dubai, try visit din Abu Dhabi which is just almost 2 hours away, and you can pass by Ferrari Theme Park on your way there.
