i went to dubai august of this year kasi i had a 20 hr layover. emirates took care of the visa and my hotel stay. ok naman sa dubai, i enjoyed my short stay there kasi may friend of a friend ako na tinour ako.  but we went around in a private car so di ko alam ang experience pagcommute lang.

pero super init nung pumunta ako. if i go back to dubai again, i'd choose their wintertime na.

Now it's okay to come here, medyo late nga ang winter ngayon. December na mainit parin ng konti.

Anyway, Dubai Icons Must see are:

Burj Khalifa - Tallest building in the world as they claim it. then sa baba nun or close dun is Dubai Mall biggest mall din na claim nila.


Burj Al Arab - if you have the moola, to dine or tour or even checked in sa 7star hotel. Why not? Pero kung gusto mo lang sya masight pwede din naman pasyalan sya nearby open beach, or passby hotels like Al Qasr, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and madinat Jumeirah - may souk (bazarre) dito and arabic architecture and landscapes, may dhow din. you can check it sa google.

THE PALM - Atlantis Hotel

Gold Souk

BANIYAS - To experience DHOW traditional wooden boat, then now meron narin pang tourist will take you from Baniyas all the way to THE PALM.

Sangkatutak na malls dito if you are a MALL Rat.

Transportation here is easy din , thru buses and trains. Mahal nga lang ang TAXI sa dubai.

Okay din yung TOUR Bus Company. Kung wala kayo kilala na mag tour around, halos major tourist spots covered nila.

Dubai is a good place if you'll go there as a tourist lang. Libot-libot. Not a very good place to work though. Not that rewarding in terms of salary. IMO lang.

May ibang pinalad, na malalaki ang brackets ng salary. Mga professional jobs na linya ang work.
 TAX FREE salary they can enjoy the most, others get every 6 months country of origin airplane tickets. Not bad diba! Swertihan din talaga ng company dito sa UAE.


Unfortunately, madami din ang maliliit ang sahod especially sa blue collar jobs.

Tour is very much okay dito compared to all other Middle East countries.

Here, you can experience the Desert and Snow (although fake snow lang sa mall), Party Hard like you are in UK or Europe kasi mga Puti party goers dito.

You can wear shorts or skirts, sleeveless, I mean hindi sya ganun ka strict kasi Open Country sya. Pork is available sa mga groceries yun nga lang sa restaurants hinde. Some hotels lang can serve pork but most of them don't.

Experience UAE. You can give it a try.

Ang alam ko, kapag nurse sa Government Hospital malalaki sahod at may family status. Usually ganun kapag Government ang Company mo malaki ang sahod.

Sa private hospitals, mababa lang yata. Pero meron din yata malalaki especially International Hospitals.

Nurse Jobs are often hired thru agency. I suggest mag agency ka sa pinas and prefered nila RN. May friend ako nasa Abu Dhabi, nag agency sya. Okay naman sahod nya ngayon tsaka yun nga Government yung ospital nya.

Some of them pagkadating dito nag eexam pa sa MOH. Parang may certification pa. Kasi kung di ka certified, di ka irecognize ng mga ospital dito, nursing aid lang yata yung iba like yung mga nakilala ko dati.

Though I'm not very familiar sa Nursing Jobs here, general info lang yan.

But most of what I heard, yung iba ginagawang stepping stones mag nurse dito. Once na magkaroon na ng certification at residence visa, it will be a way for them to cross countries.


Goodluck sis. My two cents, if you're a Nurse, why Middle East? There are countries like CANADA and AUSTRALIA who's very much in need of Nurses. Kung ganyan lang din ang course ko baka lumipat nako sa Australia in a heartbeat. Promise! I'm speaking for myself ha, yoko na kasi dito.

Kung mag agency ka rin lang, apply ka narin sa ibang bansa diba. Whichever comes first.

^ yun nga sis, last week lang ako nagdecide pumunta ng Dubai, ang plan ko talaga Canada, kaso wala pa ko exam NCLEX.. dami pa process tsaka need ko at least two years xp, eh sa Dubai may mga kakilala ako na hindi na kumuha ng experience dito, diretso na sila dun tapos ok naman sila, kaya parang mas ok na sakin magDubai muna.

Hmm, for you to work as a nurse here, you have to have an MOH or DOH license. DOH license for Dubai, MOH for non-DUbai like Sharjah and other emirates, and HAAD license ata pag sa Abu Dhabi. Now, i don't know kung ilang years of work experience ang kelangan mo sa tatlo, iba-iba kasi requirements ng DOH, MOH at HAAD. I think you can google it, may mga websites sila. try www.dohms.gov.ae or www.dohms.ae.

nurses who come here na walang license, end up with other jobs. Sa company namin, we have nurses working as medical call center agents.

Sabi nga ng boss ko, IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, BUT WHO YOU KNOW! Kung boss mo eh royal family or mga shaikh!

Kaso why take chances, wag umasa sa padrino.
Rules here change in a heartbeat. Dati 20+ yrs old and up pwede magwork, then two or three years ago under 23 years old di issuahan ng working visa. Kaya madami umuwing visit visa dati kasi di mavisahan, the height ng napaka daming fresh grads na pumunta dito on visit isa

Having UAE certification here will not cause you any disadvantages, mas pabor yon sa empleyado. Magbago man ang rules, may pinang hahawakan ka.

May times na mahigpit sa Healthcare industry ang UAE. Implement sila dapat recognized ng UAE Government.

If you're coming as visit visa and fresh grad with no experience that is understood.

Dito naman pagalingan sa CV at Interview just like the "PANA" (i'm sorry pero totoo sa karamihan) Akala mo dami experience at napagaling kasi magsalita, pagdating sa ACTUAL sablay.

I actually hate it kapag attending nurse ay ibang lahi. Syempre okay kapag KABAYAN with Extra care.

If you don't mind me asking, naiintriga ako sa friend mo. Sinabi nya ba na ipapasok ka sa trabaho? Sure na sya? Visit visa ka o Direct Hire? hmmmmmmm

ibang friend yun sis adikako.. yung friend ko na nurse din jan nagexam pa sya ng DOH just this month, she passed, tapos may 6 months syang xp dito.

yung friend ko na nagsabi na kahit walang xp, papunta din sya jan by next year, yung family nya halos lahat anjan na, tapos may mga ipinapasok daw ate nya before na wala din xp at no need na magexam. she won't help me though. may iba na tutulong sakin, pero hindi ya nurse jan, kaya nagiinvestigate pa ko kung pwede talaga yun, ayoko naman mapauwi ng wala sa oras, sayang gastos. hehe
