hi sis sexy_07, thanks for your reply. i am very much aware how much a church wedding will cost and i am considering all factors, especially when it comes to finances. i am not planning to have an absurdly expensive wedding that would leave us bankrupt, i will make sure we still have our savings. my point is, if it's a priority, things can be done, there will always be a way. church wedding kasi for me is not just a ceremony, it's very important to me, it's one of the 7 sacraments, it's a blessing from God, but my prob is my bf seems to think otherwise, i'm not sure if men are really like that or he's just being too practical na okay lang for him kung walang church wedding  :-\

We just got married on January this year and  no plans pa actually of having a church wedding. Ngalang, my grandfather want us to have a church wedding next year as original plan (auntie ko kasi nagopen nung last time na nagbakasyon since we were not opening about getting married, she spoke to my dad about wedding-- pumayag naman dad ko.) I guess we were okay with being together ni ex-bf now hubby kaya pati ang kasal we didnt say anything. Besides we need kasi magipon for it di ba? So ayun we dont have a budget to have a grand wedding  still my grandfather said " kahit hindi grande, just make your bridesmaid wear a dress daw"..yung super tipid talaga. We are planning now kung saan okay ang reception. I looked online and others dont focus much on the dress instead sa food and drinks pinabongga! So we might as well do that  para talagang sulit ang pagdalo din ng mga bisita na manggaling sa malalyo...       Pero ask ko nalang din po, how much do you think yung talagang magagastos  on strict budget? Ty.

I'm so happy, just yesterday, we booked na at caleruega.  Our wedding will be next year....10th year na namin yun as civilly wed couple.  Saya pala.

Yes we do, on our 15th year, next year. But I really want a private and super close family and friends lang. Yoko gawin for a show. Gusto ko, at least 50-70 family members and friends  lang. :-)

Bagong kasal lang ako November 11, 2011 at as of now mas priority namin ni hubby makaipon ng gamit habang wala pa baby. :-)

We had our church wedding after a year of our civil wedding. Plan pa nga is on the same day pero di natuloy. Orig plan is to have a church wedding but due to pamahiin "sukob" w/ my brother, civil na lang. We have a strong belief in God's blessing when it comes to marriage so we really pursue it even though dami namin expenses that time since kaka-CS ko lang (6mos old baby nun). Some said that we should have used it for the house construction instead since we already have a lot. But mas at peace ako that our marriage have been guided and blessed by God.

hopefully very soon, hirap lang ng documents needed kasi malayo ang pagkukunang mga parishes (a plane-ride away huhuhu), not only the blessing kahit happy na us parang may kulang, and then plus the fact na pag namatay ka, you're not allowed to be blessed sa loob ng simbahan kung di ka married by canonical law.. :( :( :(

may plano pa din pero di alam kun kelan matutupad, kasi dami kelangan unahin, since nakasal na naman sa civil, un church wedding eh it took a back seat talaga...

yes! we just got civilly married last may and we plan to have our Christian garden wedding next year December. House muna kasi priority namin so inuna muna namin iyon. So with the basics sa house tapos na this year, we can already save up for our wedding next year. Though we are just planning an intimate wedding so hindi pa rin super laki ang gastos.

dati nagpost ako dito na trip ko ang church wedding. pero ngayon nang naisip ko ang magiging gastos namin sa pag-aaral ng anak namin and all that, ayoko na. aba e kamag-anak pa lang ni hubby, mga 100 katao na. what more kung yung extended kamag-anak ko sasama (since wala akong kapatid)? yung barkada namin aka set ng ninong at ninang ni baby, mga 50 lahat pag pinagsama. nako. bankarote ata kami nyan.

It's been a year and I'd still say no. Our wedding, as simple as it was, was perfect. I don't wanna change a thing.

^ we had plans of having one but now parang its not at the top of our list of priorities right now. Im
Not religious , not from a religious family din. We were supposed to have one but i told my husband we might as well use the money to buy a place. And we did. Praktikal
ako eh. Was telling my hubby, ano we'll spend 500-700 k to feed 150 people and then the next day san na ang money? Minsan nga may nsasabi pang pintas ang guests after the wedding, or after mo magspend wala naman tutulong ni isa sa invited guests nyo sa financial probs nyo after the wedding z_x

san titira after.

^We actually thought of having a church wedding as 'giving back' to God all the blessings he has given us. Nope, we are not religious also.
