uhm..sakin wala na akong plans..ang reason ko lang parang hirap mag asikaso tas kumusta naman di ko ata kaya mag wedding gown tas ang init init..hehe! actually naalala nung bata pa ko i used to draw what my wedding gown would be when i get married, it was really my dream to walk down the aisle i used to daydream about that day..i dont know maybe people change. my husband and I never had our first dance, i may never be able to walk down the aisle but God blessed me with a very good husband. and that's it,,he's actually the realization my dream as a child to hold hands with my prince..i may not be Pricess Diana but God gave me my happily ever after ;D

we got married abroad, civil lang 5 yrs. ago, nung first few years namin we were planning to have a garden wedding paguwi namin sa pinas but as time passes by maiisip nyo na rin maging practical like for us, especially if you have kids na...I'm just blessed to have a good loving husband & a good provider :D

We were civilly married last February 2011, an we just had our church wedding last December 2011.

I must admit it was really costly for a church wedding. Lalo na we already have a 2month old baby. Sunod sunod ang gastos in a year --- Civil Wedding, I delivered our first baby via C-Section, Her Baptismal, and our church wedding, Christmas pa! My gosh! Minsan naiisip ko if itutuloy ko pa ba yung church wedding namin. Of course, we also have our everyday expenses, may monthly allowance pa kapatid nia, plus yung inaabot sa parents namin. Ngaun back to zero kami, but heads up kong masasabi na wala kaming utang. :)

We just wanted to make it right before the Lord. We wanted His blessings. Yun lang. For me kasi, hindi naman kailangan ng bonggang church wedding, basta pareho kayong masaya and nagmamahalan kayo.

But it all depends. Sabi nga nila, wala yan sa ceremony, kundi nasa sa inyong dalawa. And it's true. Nasa sa inyong dalawa talaga, kaya kahit wala kayong church wedding, wag niyong sasabihin na Civil Wedding LANG kami... No. Civilly wed kayo. You should be proud at civilly wed kayo, mag-asawa kayo sa mata ng tao at legal ang pagsasama ninyo.

Civil wedding din kami ni hubby,
Gustuhin ko man maiprocess na ang church wedding this year were planning to do it nalang after 5years,
Mas priority namin to have own house and bbinyagan pa si baby..

Actually sa civil wedd, kasal n kayo sa batas at sa mata ng Panginoon.

Btw, kaya civil wedd muna kami kasi sukob kami sa kasal ng kapatid n hubby.
Hindi man masama maniwala sa elders kaya we do it in that way nalang. :-)

we were planning for a church wedding for Dec 2008, kaso it didnt push through. Yun kasi talaga yung gusto naming date to get married. To be exact, Dec 28, 2008 sana, kasi on that date, 5 years na kami sa bf-gf. kaso ayun nga, di natuloy. pero we didnt expect na by January 2011, I'd get pregnant with our 1st child. We had our civil wedding ng April 2011, and we used to tell friends na sa pabinyag ni baby isasabay ang church. Gave birth ng sept 2011, tapos nagpabinyag ng nov 2011, without a church wedding. NGayon, its a so far-fetched idea kasi marami nang gastos. Pero I admit, sometimes I lurk at the threads for weddings, and deep in my heart, I also wish to experience walking down the aisle. SInasabi ko na lang sa sarili ko, if I can't experience a "real" wedding, I pray that my little girl would have her own someday.  :)

We got married abroad kaya civil lang. Before, we were planning to renew our vows sa church siguro sa 5th year namin kaso ngayong may baby na kami, we'll just spend it na lang sa future ng baby namin, practical lang.
Hindi naman porket civil wedding lang e walang blessing, though we got married abroad, we had our parents' blessings and definitely God's blessings. For me, "it's not the wedding, it's the marriage!"

Me and my fiance will be married this year by civil rites. According to him, he still wants us to have church wedding after two to three years. :)

i've been civilly wed for a year now and looking forward to a church wedding. we had our civil rites here abroad kasi dito kami nagwork ni hubby. we're expecting our first baby so we were thinking of putting the church wedding mga 2-3 years from now.

just for me, iba pa rin yung haharap kami sa altar for our union to be blessed- but that's just my opinion.

got married civilly last 2010.. had a baby nun 2010.. hubby promised me a church wedding pero di kami magkasundo kung kelan at saan kasi magkaiba kami ng religion. isip ko din na hinde siya practical pero i want our marriage to be blessed in church sans the fanfare & big expense. i want a simple & quiet wedding with just family & closest friends

kanina lang pinag uusapan namin ng hubby ko about our plan for church wedding, sabi ko kc sana sa 10th year civil wedding anniversary n lang namin magpakasal s church since pang 6th year n namin this coming july, so may 4 yrs p to prepare. ang sabi nya basta daw makapag lakad na yung 1 yr old baby namin puede n pra sya ang ring bearer. anyways feeling ko naman ako ang masusunod hehe. gusto ko muna magpapayat pra makasuot ng simpleng gown pra s simple wedding. basta may basbas ang mahalaga.

There was a time that we were married under civil law only, and during that time I felt a lot of guilt over not being married in church and having the blessing of God in our marriage.  My guilt feeling was doubled by the fact that we had a child.  I was aware that having a child outside of church marriage was equivalent to having a bastard child in the eyes of the church.

My guiilt feelings were washed away only when we finally were married in church.

We're wed in civil ceremony. We still have thoughts in having church wedding someday. Not a priority though, the baby is on the top list now. We believe in the sanctity of marriage, but I think God wouldn't punish us naman if we're not wed in church or if in case we will not be married in church. As long as we're living in His commandments and wills, we know we have His blessings. It's our faith on Him that counts.  ;) ;D

you need NOT spend naman ng malaki mga sis.

civilly married din kami for 10 years.,,

we celebrated our 10th year anniversary through a simple church wedding 3 months ago...i spent just 30k, all in, inclusive of damit, church, papers, reception, wedding singer, florist etc etc.. nagpatahi pa ako sa well known designer nyan ha. :)

15 pax lang kami. my 2 kids, my parents, his parents, 1 pair of ninong/ninang, my brother as cameraman, my hipag as coordinator kuno. mga anak ko ang reader (aged 7 and 9yrs old yan ha =), kaya bilib na bilib yung priest namin. :)
