yeah i've seen those Golden Tours buses na partner ng HP studios. yun na lang siguro ang kukunin namin. there's a discount if you take the earliest trip and also the last two trips. now we are thinking of taking the evening trips na lang kasi indoor naman ata ang harry potter. Sa umaga, windsor na lang kami kasi kelangan ang magandang sunshine sa pictures hehe.

^the houses that we're used is in the open area and also the triple decker bus, hagrid's motorcycle and the bridge! well pwedeng well-lit naman. hehe!

I've tried the "Mind the Gap Tours" on their pub tour and magaling ang tour guide naka 4-5pubs kame nun haha! If marunong kayo magbike lahat may windsor biking tour sila. Nakakainis lang hindi ako marunong magbike so hindi ko pa na-experience yung biking around london. Poor me.

BTW, paalis kana sis diba? anong dala mo? haha! ang hirap mag-pack!

15 days more pa kami! di pa ko nakapack sis... pero nakalabas na ang maleta ko at nakaseparate na sa cabinet ang mga isusuot ko para hindi na magamit. hehe

sa ngayon pinoproblema ko pa yung itinerary. naguguluhan at natotoxic na ako! hehe. with halong excitement. di ko alam ano ang uunahin. hehe. daming gustong puntahan pero we only have 4 days!

^ah okay mauuna pa pala ako! hahaha! next week na flight ko 26th, and 4days lang ang igsi sis pero ok yan gawin niyo nalang yung mga gustong gusto niyo talaga puntahan.

if you go for the tours try to see yung may mga full day tour baka makasulit din pero syempre iba pa din ang DIY na hawak niyo oras niyo pero convenient din naman tour! haha!

Weather warning -- we're having a heatwave daw towards the end of this week til sometime he beginning of next week! Pero parang tropical yata, yung mainit na maulan/cloudy? Highs of 22 daw eh. Kaso as usual, you never know kung ano na ang weather pag dating ng October...

nga pala, etong tanong eh nakakapagpabagabag sa akin. hehe. may naririnig kasi akong mga kwento ng mga friends na nadudukutan sa mga trains sa paris. sa london kaya may mga ganun din? or safe naman mag travel sa london tube/trains?

and my boss told me to take extra care in Picadilly Circus area kasi may mga pickpockets din daw doon. is this true?

we will be staying near Kings Cross station na pala (its our third rebooking hehe). i think its a busy area, safe ba doon?

^Pickpockets are everywhere naman! You just have to be extra careful with your belongings especially in crowded places.

^^My husband and I stayed in my husband's aunt's house almost right beside King's Cross. Yes it's a safe area. We walked at night and had no problems

never had a problem too about pickpockets not until one incident that I think I left my train card wallet inside the tube.. yes I did lost it but after few days the lost&found called me about it and returned everything EXCEPT my Cath Kidston train card wallet! haha! mind you there's also a fee in claiming for storage!

You don't need a coat -- take a mid-to-heavy cardigan, or a bomber jacket, or even a mac. To be fair, when they say heatwave = 22 degrees. Maybe a scarf, for just in case moments (alam mo naman, minsan windy). Oh, and tights, in case you need to layer up underneath jeans.

Piccadilly and Leicester Square are crawling with tourists. If nasubukan mo na makipagsapalaran sa Quiapo/Divisoria, you'll be fine because you know na the usual moves -- keep your bag close to you, or sa harap mo, don't talk to strangers, don't look lost! People brandish their iPhones in public here, sa tube they use their kindles or tablets. Basta look alert, wag mag mukhang victim!

anyways, mga sis, the places that we plan to enter are Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, and Windsor Castle. concern ko is, ok ba na doon sa gates bumili ng entrance tickets? or mas advisable bumili online?

and maganda bang pumasok talaga sa loob ng Westminstr Abbey?

pasencia na parang hindi ako nauubusan ng tanong tungkol sa trip na ito. 😊

Westminister Abbey is worth it for me, we even joined the tour and they explained to you the history and the interesting tidbits of the place

When are you going to London? I'm leaving in a few days as well

little_princess Yup, Scotland is still in the UK (thank God!). Can't recommend hotels (try the usual sites), but bring payong! And maybe more balot, as it's usually colder there. But a very beautiful city.

blaire.witch Buy online if you can just print out the tickets. Sometimes may queue pa rin kase everyone bought online, but it depends kase what time you go to the attractions talaga. But hopefully you avoid the group tours? (One of my pet peeves are the Chinese group tours talaga)
