@mrs. sweet, hmmm... Once is the type of play that i don't think will be "generally" appreciated by all sorts of audience (unlike, say, the more mainstream Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera, etc). so honestly, i can't confidently recommend it to you.

personally, i liked it very much, but because i really liked the sentiment of the movie (from which the musical was based) and super love the songs. i also like that the venue is very suited to the sentiment of the play - it's very intimate, much smaller than other venues, and the stage transforms into a bar where you can have drinks with the cast.

when i really think about it, if you haven't seen the movie, i don't think you'll appreciate the Once musical much.

hows the weather in london now?

we will be there first week of october. so medyo nagiisip isip na ng kung ano isusuot. is it autumn na? gusto kong makunan ng photos yung autumn colors and all. hay im so excited sana may maabutan ako.

planning on watching "charlie and the chocolate factory" the musical in theatre royal drury lane in late october. i'll be with my 10-year-old daughter kasi.

my flight would be from 26th to 7th of october.. sabe ni boyfie around 8degrees in the morning and 16-18degrees by the day.. eh yung ganung temperature when we were in Japan was cold already.. err.. d ako sure for UK how it will be as I was only there from dec-july. help sisses!

As of now, it is not yet that cold here, hindi pa naman knit, wool, boots season but if maglalakad ka whole day, you need to put on a jacket. Weather here is erratic. Two weeks ago it was so cold that we even turned the heating on. But these past few days warm and sunny in the morning, but pagdating ng afternoon malamig na at maulan.

There was a "heatwave" since latter half of last week. I have my fan on at night, and haven't had to layer, except for a light cardigan. Check mga one week before your flight, if that's not too dyahe? The weather changes really quick talaga. Middle of August naka-pyjamas na ko, tapos ngayon balik ulit sa shorts. Kalerky lang!

Sis blairwitch, I suggest skipping Madame Tussaud entirely. It's nothing special, in my opinion. Don't waste your time there. Unless you really really have a thing for wax figures.

Erm, possible if you do a hit and run, you don't mind walking all day, walang pictures pictures masyado, and no pause-to-soak-it-up chorva. It takes around 45 minutes (maybe more) just to get to Watford, and you'd probably have to go back to town to get the Windsor and Eton train from...Paddington I think. Takes 20 or 30 minutes from Paddington to Windsor, and Windsor is a pretty town itself that you would probably want to roam around. I suggest checking opening times.

And skip Madame Tussaud's. Nothing special there.

thanks sooo much for your input and suggestions. i'm also not really interested in madam tussaud's because i've visited the one in hongkong, pero yung mga kasama ko gusto ata nila. but i'll probably remove it for this day. isisingit na lang kung meron pang time. harry potter and windsor na lang.

by the way, i have checked the timings of sunrise and sunset in london in october, and oh my, sunrise is at 7 am something?! nakalagay pa naman sa sked namin na 7am mag bbreakfast na. hehe. true ito?

^Are you doing a tour?

Right now, sunrise is roughly around past 6 AM, mga 06:20 or 06:30, and sunset around 19:30-19:40. Days get shorter so depende when in October, I reckon around that time na nga.

BTW, pa-add regarding Madame Tussaud's -- I remember when I went there, as in early, the moment they opened, at may konting pila na noon. And OMG and crowd sa loob! Kung hindi ka aggressive magpapicture sa mga wax statues, mga 5-10 minutes ang intay mo for your turn. Hindi talaga enjoy! Naimbyerna lang ako.

@gj1206 we were supposed to DIY. kaso at this time parang mas gusto ko maghanap ng tour na lang para less hassle sa pagpunta. malalayo pa naman daw ang harry potter and windsor. and this will be our third day, so im sure pagod na kami by this time. hehe. sana may mahanap akong tour.

^the hp hindi mo mamimiss yung way na papunta dun its just train and then wait for the bus then vice versa.. if for tour there's this company na mismong red bus eh HP ang design... i forgot which company..

@mrs.sweet that I am not sure kase alam ko nagtotour din ito sa ibang branch ng madame tussauds.. better ask the customer service via email or call (maasahan ang customer service ng uk. hehe!)
