Hi sisses :) I just tried out Master Cleanse, and I'm on day 2, 6 glasses per day. I went shopping at healthy options last sunday. Price list as follows:

Bottled Lemon Juice: P369 (437ml), according to H.O, it's good for 1 1/2 day. But since I'm taking 6 glasses per day, I'll be using this for 3 days if my computations are correct.

I though of buying fresh from Divi, Lemons cost 10 each, 11 pcs for 100 pesos, good for 3 1/2 days. Maybe next time :)

Smooth Move:  P259 16bags for 16 nights

Spice Garden Cayenne: P195

Hain Sea Salt: P119

Maple Syrup Grabe B: (970ml) P2,159 (Na-gulat ako sa presyo!!! I was expecting around 800 based on the reviews, but NO, it's 2159!!! Baka sa SnR meron na mas mura :) ). Good for 5 days i think.

If my calculations are correct, it's about 650 pesos per day for 6 Glasses.

HOW DID IT GO?

Day 1: SWF, nako masuka suka ako!!! i finished around 700ml i think, and not the whole 1L kasi nakakasuka :)....... for the rest of the day,  I'm always full. Problem is I had headaches that night. Ang daming temptations!!!! but i said NO, dahil nasasayangan ako sa pera ko kung hindi ko susundin yung protocol :)

Day 2: No SWF for me, i don't know why. Maybe i intentionally forgot? :P Always full, but headaches throughout the day.

Current weight when i started was: 63 kg. I plan to stop the cleanse when my tongue turns pink :)

hello to everyone from this thread. I've been ttc(trying to conceive) for about 3 years hubby and i were diagnosed with unexplained infertility since all our medical and lab tests are all good and normal. So now we are seeking and considering to undergo the ivf procedure in about 2 months from now but i would like to detox my body first from all the toxins i have since unhealthy life style din ako and im on the borderline obese already. I hope you could share me about this master cleansing thing coz it might help me lose weight and detox my body. Thank you in advance God bless... :)

@louieli, you can use non organic lemons. If you're near Landmark groceries or SM, mura lang ang lemons nila dun - less than 2 pesos each from what I can remember. 1/2 lemon is 2 tbsp which is enough for one glass. If you're taking 6 glasses a day, that's 3 whole lemons only. It is not advisable to use bottled lemon juice.

to quote from another website:
Just to inform you...
Any bottled juice on a shelf (not refrigerated) is dead (it is basically just a flavoring). It has been pasturized (heated), so anything beneficial for the MC has been killed.
The reason for juicing fresh lemons is the live enzymes...that is what will clean your cells.
If you find fresh-squeezed, refrigerated juice, make sure it was squeezed that day and use it up within a day.
If you don't stick to the basic recipe for the MC, you won't get good results...so why bother.
Your body deserves the best, so don't take shortcuts.

hope this helps.

^thats good info kaya sa lemonade stand specifically hotdog on a stick they replenish their lemonade supply/stock every hour kasi  short yung efficacy and freshness ng lemonade.

I'm on my 2nd day of The MC but for several weeks now, I've been drinking warm water w lemons. It helps in my constipation, it irritates the stomach to make movement. Sorry if TMI. Haha.
So, now, I'm doing the full MC mostly for cleansing and my digestive problems.
The Maple syrup grade B alone in Healthy Options cost 2,100 and Smooth Move Laxative is 259 Cayenne Pepper is about 200 and the Hain Sea Salt is 55 ( just get the small one since you won't need to much of it anyways, 2 teaspoon per day only) and Lemons.
My friend who did the cleanse for 10 days lost 14lbs and she used up 2 1/2 bottles of Maple syrup. Mahalia!!!!
Hopefully, I can substitute the Maple with coco which is also high in protein.

Good luck to us

Raw Coco Nectar is only 350 per bottle for the small one and 900 for the big one. I'll keep you posted.

By the way, aside from cleansing the MC detox is a way to take away cravings. It conditions and recondition our minds to not automatically give in to food cravings. They say on the 4th day, cravings are eliminated. Can't wait!!!! Hahaha

Hello.. This is really effective i tried this last year. Lost a lot of weight, you really have to put yourself into it though. Discipline and not to mention, kinda pricey for me..

I heard this in 89.9 (Grace Lee) and got curious. Been wanting to do this since last year but kinda hesistant since I'm working. But I heard that only the first 3 days are difficult then your ok.
Currently on my 3rd day, so far I have more energy than the last two days. Not hungry but still wanting to eat   ;D
I haven't checked my weight but I lost 1 inch in my waistline already.
I did this primarily for detox. I hope those who have done this can share the positive detox effects they experienced (to keep us motivated).

Hello Mga Sis....
When i read this, i got inspired. Simple Lemon, Water and Honey lang. And you may pa din naman not like the Master Cleansing na wala ka kakainin. Saka di pa pricey:

http://www.outofstress.com/lemon-water-lose-weight/

I've been doing this na since May 26, 2012. I just squeeze 1/2 lemon into my 1 Liter tumbler then slice ko lang yung balat nya then naka babad lang sa tumbler ko with raw honey, then yun lang iinumin ko. I consume 2 liters a day and thet would be 1 lemon a day. Then eat lang ako 1/2 cup rice sa bfast, lunch and dinner ulam lang ako.

So far i lost 6 lbs na.... im doing the lemon diet in preparation for my HCG diet naman.

I'm not sure about this, pero di ba parang water lang ang nawawala sa body natin sa lemonade cleansing? Just wondering.

I think water nga lang. Kaya i dont want to spend so much sa maple. Honey is ok na. PArang i used this lemon diet to prepare myself for my HCG Diet Program.

Sisters, I tried this once and it really worked. I lost 11lbs in 10 days and really noticeably lost inches. Didn't measure myself na eh but payat levels talaga.

My question now is, for all of you who tried this, meron ba senyo na hindi nagbreak out ang skin? Natrauma talaga ako na ang payat mo nga, ang pangit naman ng face due to the breakout. It took me a lot of chemical peels to get to the level na I could say confident na ko to socialize ulit. :(

Hi mga sis! I'm on my 4th day of MC, so far so good.

First day ko, I just used pancake syrup na maple-flavored, which I know was bad so sa second day I replaced it with honey kasi yun lang ang on hand... I figured kahit it's a no-no sabi ng mga guru because it's regurgitated bee-food, I thought it's still far more natural than the pancake syrup na artificially flavored and has preservatives.

Now on my 4th day I went to my friendly neighborhood OTOP kiosk and bought raw coconut nectar. So excited! :D Tastes same as honey, less sweet so instead of 2 tbsps, I use 3.

The SWF, I simply cannot take it but drinking biguerlai tea took care of moving stuff along.

My first day was the hardest, super migraine and could not sleep... I ended up eating a bunch of oatmeal cookies... :( But soldiered on my  second day anyway, which became a lot easier.

Anyway, also, I have small bumps on my face. I can't say they're allergies or pimples, it's not makati or bothersome but when i look at my face at a certain light, it does look like I have some food reaction. I read somewhere that this is normal as my body is taking out the toxins and skin is the biggest organ so naturally dito mas obvious, but they say it'll go away in the later part of the detox period (i hope so!).

Other than the worry with the skin, I'm surprised to say I don't feel hungry or tempted to eat any of my normal junk foods, so I guess it's all in the mind talaga... I'm beginning to feel more aware of how much I actually mindlessly eat per day and how I can actually do this detox thing! :D I'll see if I can even extend to 14 days!

I haven't weighed myself yet though kasi ours is broken... Let's do the skinny jeans test nalang by the end of the detox. Crossing my fingers! :D

I do the Master Cleanse every quarter just to get rid of the gunk & toxins in the body.  I've been doing this for the past 12 years na.

This year, I use coco sugar instead of Maple syrup.  It works naman for me.
I have a 2L container that I bring with me when I do the cleanse.
I put the juices of 2 lemons & 4 tablespoons of coco sugar in it.

When I drink na, I just pour into a glass and add1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
