actually, mag start pa lang ako sa May    pero ang nakalagay kase sa website nila, pure online lang yung classes. ang alam ko bigyan ka ng modules. then may exam din pero naka open yung skype mo while taking the exam. yan pa lang yung mga nasagap ko from reading blogs online from people na naka-enroll sa Open U ng UP

Try niyo sa PWU. Online Learning din ng 18 units ng Education. Bale online interaction kayo ng prof. Maguupload siya ng requirements and assignments doon. tapos finals and midterms lang kayo pupunta sa classroom.

Ang 18 units ko - mga all in all 18-19k lang.

Working or not, ikaw bahala kung ilan units kukunin mo.

Sa first term, 6 units kinuha ko.
Sa sumunod na term, 12 units na.

Working pa ako niyan mga sis ah. Madali lang. Considering hindi naman ako matalino, okay talaga grades ko. Basta complete and tama naman mga requirements.

May mga teachers kaya dito na gusto magpost?

Hi mga sis, ano kayang pinaka rigorous na online uni for educ units? UP Online kaya? Nagtingin ako sa site at may nakita akong type ko, Diploma in Social Studies Education. Sufficient na kaya to for LET? 21 units siya all in all. I'm currently taking up my Master's degree, ang goal ko talaga college instructor, but as we all know, malapit na K-12 so I'm also trying to prepare myself if ever. Hindi din ako masyadong familiar sa ganito kasi oag college, wala naman license license para makapagturo, basta Master's lang.

Balak ko din mag LET kaya nagtake ako nung UP open university na PTC (professional teaching certificate) 18 units. I guess okay na yun para maka pag-LET.

I taught grade school for three years and decided to take a year off. Super stressful kasi, di na ko nag-eenjoy.
I'm working as a TSR now, almost into my fourth month, but I'm starting to miss being in the classroom and doing all those teacher tasks.
If you really want to be a teacher, go for it. Submit your resume to schools, and if you qualify, they'll call you.
Be prepared lang for the interview and have a lesson plan prepared na din, just in case. Some schools provide the topic for the demo, but it never hurts to be ready.
Teaching is a vocation, at least I've always thought so. Mahirap, pero at the end of the day, super worth it, esp when you see how you have touched your kids' lives.

I was talking to an administrator sa university. According to that person, pati teachers,
not secured na rin ang job dahil sa k-12. Kaya ang bagsak nito most teacher sa
 ibang bansa na mag work. For CHED naman wala pa silang mga steps sa fall back ng teachers,
sa tingin nila mga 5 years bago maging stable ulit ang pagtututo sa lahat ng levels ng school.

In my opinion sis, PNU. No doubt, being the National Center for Teacher Education. Sila talaga ay considered one of the best. My sister took her undergrad here. She is now a PhD graduating student sa UP Diliman. Aside from mura na tuition, quality education pa. I'm also planning to take 18 units of Educ. But I'm crossing out PNU sa choices ko, my plan kasi is to finished my educ units in 1 year. and alam ko kasi, aabutin ng about 2 years dahil 32 units na sila ngayon at required and OJT which is not applicable sa mga working.

I'm a Psych grad, and fortunately was able to teach preschoolers. Very underpaid, yes, but rewarding naman when your kids appreciate and love you..

no. kailangan kunin pa din 18 units and OJT, may kaklase akong cpa lawyer and nirequire pa din sya kumuha PNU kami kumuha ng CTP

hi sis, sorry tagal na to haha, we finished CTP from june 2007 till march 2008 tapos we took the LET sept 2008 (lumabas result dec 2008) after taking let the following month saka kami ng OJT bale 1 semester sya na OJT course that time sa PNU. Dati kasi payag sila take ka LET kahit d pa tapos OJT/ Practicum teaching

Graduate ako ng teaching course major in Computer Eng Technology..
May PRC license din ako...
However, ang work ko now is in  the IT industry...
Dati-3years ago, nagpart time ako as IT instructor sa isang University dito sa manila (evening class), nagstop lang ako kasi inalis na yung evening schedule sa school
Almost 10 years na ako dito sa company namin and I miss teaching na ulit.. kaso gusto ko part time pa rin... I can't be full time kasi I know na well compensated ako dito sa company namin at sayang naman kung iiwan ko ito
I can teach programming subjects kasi programming and field ko dito..
Can anyone help me kung saan ako pwede magapply or pwede macheck na websites about sa mga opening for part time IT instructors? Yung sabado lang or evening class
