Hi Ladies! I am a party animal since college days and never though that will meet my lifetime partner in a club which is the dj of that club. Hahaha! Enough of cheesyness. Anyhow, he spins at The Lounge Tomas Morato and Eivissa Superclub during Fridays and Saturdays with pure house music so ladies if you're in the vicinity and wanted to just chill, I'm always there during those days. I really wanted to go to Republiq and Opus coz I've been hearing a lot of good feedbacks from my friends. Also, Kyss is a nice-place-to-chill bar as well as H2o. Area05 in tomas morato is so-so but they have the huuuuge place. Can accommodate, i guess, 500-700 party people. Manor, you ladies are right, a lot of kiddos. Fiamma is also nice. Ladies, if you need GLs, yeah.. just visit the clubs' FB page and you will see a lot of promoters with their numbers and clubs that they support.

I hope someone will create a thread for BIG FISH goers. Haha! 'Til then ladies

I've been away from Phils for the last three years so medyo clueless ako sa "manila's nighlife". I want to try Republiq and Encore (famous na mga nababasa ko dito) when I get back home, ask ko lang, approximately, how much will I spend on this place? Let's say maximum of 5drinks per head+entrance+snacks. I'm planning to bring some friends so I just want to have an idea sa budget.

^ Forget door charge because being included in the guest list is as easy as pie. But if you insist on paying, it's 600 bucks per person inclusive of 2 drinks. Cocktails should be around 250-330 bucks each. Beer is cheaper at about 150-180 bucks. Expect to pay around 250-350 bucks for a plate of finger food.

Ask ko lang... paano palagay sa guest list? pero pwede rin naman walk in lang?

saka un ask ko lang.. naguluhan ako... un Resort world ay isang mall? at nandoon ang Republiq? tama po ba?

^ Search for the hosts/promoters of the event on Facebook (or try looking up the name of the club). These people post their contact numbers and e-mail addresses on their page/s. And yes, you may just walk in and pay the entrance fee.

Republiq or 7th High ba ang good choices? Never been to both btw. Hindi kasi ako magimik eh and I'm taking out my cousins from the US, one if about 28 and the other is 18.

Totoo ba na Republiq strict on age? Kasi I'm not sure if ID ng cousin ko has her age but she's 18. And ako wala ako ID with age, but I'm 26. If strict sila, what can you recommend who's not too strict on the age pero ok pa din naman?

How about Glimmer Thursdays at 7th High? Does 7th also check age on the Ids?

On Friday, we might go to Republiq. Is it true (as per manilaclubbing.com) na better na lang to pay the entrance fee kasi mas madali makapasok kesa if guestlist kasi you have to wait ng matagal in Republiq? If we arrive naman at 11pm, would that still be the case?

How about Izakaya pala? May entrance ba on Thursdays? Meron pala sila Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I thought lounge lang sila but the pics looks otherwise.

The crowd looks young though. Pwede na din I guess kasi nga 18 lang cousin ko.

Regarding identification, we always bring ID's since we're always on the guest list. You have to show proof that you are indeed the person you're claiming to be. I always present my driver's license while my regular party companion uses her old college ID. For balikbayans, perhaps they could just show their passports if they don't have college ID's. I remember a friend showing the bouncers her NBI clearance (haha) because she didn't have an ID with her that time.

I've never been to Izakaya so can't help with that. Glimmer Thursdays at 7th High, never heard of before. But it's nice that there's at least one good club that's open on Thursdays.

Guest list at Republiq is not that bad. Sure, there's a line. But it's a 'moving' line. We usually wait 5 minutes tops to get inside.

^not too bad naman pala.  Kala ko naman tipong more than 15 minutes. Weird na guestlist tawag nila tapos yun yung pila. Di ba sa movies, pag nasa list kapasok agad hehe

By the way, Republiq is super full on weekends. As in hindi ka makakakilos. Go earlier than 11PM. Like around 10PM para hindi pa ganun ka-crowded.

^ Yeah, you only get free entrance unless the club has a special event. During special events, it's open bar (free drinks) and sometimes they give away other freebies.

As for tables, you can use it but you have to pay the table charge which ranges from 5k to 15k (consumable) depending on the club and the number of people it can accommodate.

Yes. You need to pay. But if you think about it, it's not really "table charge" since it's consumable. Ganito lang yan, may karapatan lang kayo gumamit ng table kung gagastos kayo ng at least 10k (since table charge is about 10k). I advise you to make advance table reservation so that you and your friends' names will be on the VIP list instead of the Guest list. Shorter line.

I haven't tried getting a table at the Republiq. However, when you go to clubs, you pay for seating capacity. A table for 6pax means that the couch can only seat 6 people. So at the end of the night, you pay 6k (even if you're a group of 10).

As an example, ako, I usually reserve a table for 10 pax. Then, sometimes biglang magdadatingan yung ibang friends ko na hindi ko ineexpect na dadating. So kunyari, 5 extra friends came. All 15 of us still has access to the VIP area and at the end of the night, I still pay 10k.
