^Hi sis, my son was diagnosed with mild ADHD last '11 and he entered Claret '07 till now. If your son fared well in regular school then he is ok. My son is doing well infact kids with that condition are very smart. You have to find where they excel and tap on it. Maraming students dun like our sons. You should inform the counselor assigned to your son with letter from pediadevt. Sila na kakausap sa mga teachers ng anak mo. I also personally talk to the teachers giving them tips on how to .ake my son open to them. I check on them during card day.

40 usually the students per class

sis sa public schools, it can be as high as 50 to 60, tapos more than 7 sections pa.

^During my time in Claret in the 80s, it averaged around 50 per class.  I guess things have improved now.

mga sis (and bros), do you know of any tutors near or within Claret's vicinity (UP, teacher's village, and sikatuna)? kahit 1-2hrs a day, 3-4 times a week. i tried inquiring yung sa Ahead, kaya lang medyo pricey yung invidualized tutoring nila.

Hi, slick. Try bright head beside bubbles (not sure) laundry in matimtiman st, just a walking distance from claret. It is where my grade one son is getting tutorial from. So far, am satisfied. The owner, teacher rica is a former teacher from claret. Sila na nag pipick up sa son ko after his classes. Ok yong place, malamig ang aircon and homey ang ambiance so comfortable ang son ko. Here are the contact numbers: 3840619, 09276479954.  :)

Yong sa son ko, 5k a month, all subjects na, at least 2 hours, monday to friday, group of three. Sila na bahala sa lahat, assignments, advance lessons, etc. Depende yata sa level at assessment sa bata kung need one on one or pede sa group. Hope this helps.

Sis bump, sorry for the late reply.  Been busy kasi lumipat kami ng apartment..Anyways, thanks for your reply regarding my concern.  Hopefully, by September magvisit kami sa Claret to inquire and for my son to see the school.  Thanks again :)

Hi. I'm new on this site. Been reading thru this thread, when i decided to join.
After my sons elem grad today, my husband and i were discussing about transferring our son to Claret or school somewhere near us in Sikatuna, QC. But decided to do an inquiry in Claret, but before doing so, of course as a mom i need to have some reviews. So a list of queries came to mind after reading your posts for Claret:
1. do they accept Grade 7?
2. Does high school acceptance depends on Gen. Ave.?
3. How true is the rumor about "gayness"? (sorry for the word)
4. Can my son cope up easily, base on your experiences from a small community school to big school?

Maybe questions will follow as per comment. Thanks.

And some says, 'Claring' na daw ang new name ng school. I'm seriously considering this talaga kase mostly ng naging classmate ko nung college na from Claret ay mabubuting tao. I'm after kase dun sa teachings ng school and how they mold their student. Diba ganon naman? May distinct personality ang mga bata na graduate sa mga ganitong school.

Sayang nga lang walang masyadong bagong feedback dito. Wala din ako sa pinas kaya I cannot inquire personally. :(

I heard that Claret School lets students advance at their own pace and it won't slow them down or hurry up. Students are all self-paced and the whole school environment is safe, fun, and encouraging.
