just got back from this seminar and it was really a wonderful experience. h2b and i have so much time to talk things which we dont usually do. it helped us rekindle our relationship. we dont regret investing in this seminar.

I am proud DW graduate and an active volunteer until now We give one of the talks/sharing

This is our (my hubby & I) apostolate. We find joy in serving and helping couples. We actually went back to DW to serve only after 1 1/2 years after attending it. After DW kasi, we were busy pa with wedding preparations for a year. We went back to volunteer as a way of saying thanks - it was the best preparation we made for our marriage (not just the wedding preps)!

For those interested, don't think about it twice! Just GO! Anyway, it will be just for the two of you. No socialization and sharing much with the whole group. The success will depend on the effort that both of you will put into it.

We just came from the DW last weekend. It was really good to dedicate that time to just nurturing our relationship, not just with each other, but reconnect with our faith. Our daily life gets so distracting and busy that it's nice to just take a step back and feel and think and be quiet.
DW was the most expensive option I saw for marriage preparation seminars (6k per couple, I think CEE and CANA are 4-5k and live-out seminars) but I really feel super sulit siya. FH asked me pa nga when we were there "how much ba to? 9k?" hehe gulat siya sa 6k ok pa sa kanya kung mas mataas pa, pero siyempre realistically, kelangan abot-kaya pa rin ng karamihan.
I think depende rin sa venue ng DW, pued rin lower like 4-5k? Not sure.
mukha naman wala din maghiwalay sa batch namin. You could feel the love around the room

We attended the december DW. Sabay kami ni sis bleucharmzz. Unfortunately, samin may naghiwalay, pero not right away. Though, they weren't on the planning stages pa naman.

sxy_shandy, I am sure we met last weekend. We gave one of the talks I am happy that you have positive feedback about it Yes, admittedly it is expensive amongst the choices of a marriage preparation seminar. But it is the most extensive naman and I guess, wala pa ito sa rates ng photo, video, etc na preparation also for the wedding/marriage

princessrio, if you had your church wedding already, hindi na pwede ang DW. You can check out ME (Marriage Encounter) as previously mentioned here.

ima_821, yung naghiwalay - it was still a successful DW for them! sad news na may naghiwalay but I guess or I believe it is for the better. Mas ok that they found out they are not meant for each other as early as now. Rather than after getting married. We have situations wherein pang 2nd or even 3rd time na mag attend nung iba. I'm glad they are not traumatized, in fact they keep coming back. That's DW's main purpose

I hope you can spread this thing to your friends We encourage couples to attend nga even before being engaged pa.

^i agree with you sis meg. Kahit they separated, at least they learned about each other and they learned about themselves too. But I didn't know pwede pala ulit ulitin yun? Sa december pa wedding namin but we took it a year in advance. So far, we're doing great but who knows? We might need a little refreshing a month before our wedding? Hehe.

I meant, others repeat and go through it again with another partner if the previous one did not work out.

But for you guys who are still together, you can "attend" again for a "refresher" course anytime! - by being a volunteer You go there for free - listen to the talk (hindi naman same speakers all the time, so medyo new pa din), eat for free, answer the reflections, free bonding for both of you. Volunteers neet not to be married naman, basta graduate ng DW, you can go back anytime. You just have to help us ring the bell, and distribute the questionnaires

really sis? merong naghiwalay? aaww..sad naman! pero at least they separated na wala pa sa planning stage..but im pretty sure na yung DW experience nila taught them a lot..

i don't think kailangan niyo pa ni h2b ng refresher...you two are so in love..
tama sis sis meg1104 may be we could volunteer na lang sa mga susunod na sessions..plan namin ni hubby bumalik after a year...sana may reunion yung batch natin hehe...

Naalala mo ba kami sis?! Galing naman ng memory mo! after our DW, sinearch ko yun wedsite mo tas dun na kita inalala.

Sis meg, we're also planning to give back by volunteering after the wedding. DW made such a huge impact in our lives as a couple and we are very grateful because we have definitely become more understanding of and supportive to each other.

^yes sis! syempre naalala ko kayo...nung pagsabi mo na nasa likod kita nung nag-game sabi ko "ah..kaya pala nag-appear kami! di lang natin alam pero magkakilala na pala tayo, may connection agad" hehe...nakita ko kasi nung nag-uusap kayo ni h2b talagang seryoso kayo sa mga discussions at saka pansin ko lahat ng table na nilipatan niyo ang saya saya! parang nashe-share niyo yung love niyo sa ibang tao..

@meg1104 you were there? so cool! yes, i'm really glad we chose (well, I chose, haha) DW. i hope we also manage to volunteer in the future medio overwhelmed pa sa preps! haha
yup i figured we should 'splurge' on our marriage preparation seminar.

maiba lang. onebaggers kami ni FH. basta anywhere we travel, however long the stay, we use just one bag. one item on our packing list is a sarong. multi-purpose naman ang sarong, we brought one each. haha. buti na lang. nagamit namin as blanket. haha for future attendees, mas comfy pala if you do bring an extra pillow and blanket. though i slept just fine naman.
