Is it true ? Shaky years of a relationship are 2-4-8

nung ika-4 yrs ng relationship namin nag ka-problem kami at end up breaking up.  At ngayon another trial came - ika 8 yr namin at break kami ulit.

We're on our third year now, but nung 2nd year nagka-huge problem din kami. Sana maiwasan sa 4th and 8th. Ang hirap kaya.

in our case not true...we're on our 8th year now and it just gets better...yon nga lang our relationship with God has gone deeper din...though since day 1 naman talaga we have always allowed God to be in our midst kaya everytime nag-aaway we always resort to prayer, we always surrender and then God does His thing on us, all the time, that's how good our God is

kami just turn 2 last july..may problema kami na until now hindi pa ma solve..but we're still together at may blessing pa kami coz im 10 weeks pregnant.. in God's time magiging ok din ang lahat..

well im still hoping for the best na malagpasan naman ito...ang dami na naming napagdaanan at itong isyu ngayon eh TALK lang ang katapat...im just praying also na maging maayos  na ang lahat sa amin...

and i agree with sis orange - mahirap talaga.

pero once naman malagpasan, okey na ulit.  yun nga lang may mga lamat na pwedeng mangyari.  kaya talaga dapat malakas ang spiritual relationship para pag may mga negative na naiisip eh matutulungan tayo ni Lord na maliwanagan. 

I do pray a lot ewan ko lang sa BF ko or i may say X muna. immature kasi siya eh. pero i hope he learns something from his experience just like what happend to me nung ika - 2 yrs namin.

we're on our 3rd yr. last year, going on our 2nd year, we had a huge problem (he cheated on me). i forgave him, but minsan nagpaparinig pa rin ako about it. minsan lang naman..

my friend told me that it's during your 3rd-5th-7th or during the odd years na nagiging rocky or shaky ang relationship. not sure how true though.

IMO, the 1st 2 years of any relationship are the hardest since these are the adjustment years.   Thereafter, you are supposed to gain a better understanding of each other and your own self.  So that alone should give you each and both more wisdom and strength to overcome whatever life throws at you later.

As for the  2nd, 4th & 8th,  or the odd-numbered years... who can say when sh1t will hit the fan?  Sh1t happens, when it happens.  Some couples are just luckier.. when sh1t hits the fan, the sh1t does not stick to the fan.   lol

yup sh*t'l happen when it happens... you say 2-4-8 they say 7 years... oh well... were 8 years na this year and its a combination of both twas shaky the beggining of the year then now we've never been better. to each his own

Why not try opening a thread na 3-5-7 naman and im sure may magpo-post din don na naghiwalay on those nth year ng relationship nila. So paano na? Every year is itchy? nasa pagdadala lang yan imo and prayers.

yes sis, i agree with you. It's not on the number of years that you've both shared and surpassed. It's actually how you handle things (problems, conflicts) and each other everyday that matters. Make most of everyday be a happy memory for the both of you. Communication is always a big key to a healthier relationship. Just my pov. =)
