With Shiseido, it's cleanse, soften,moisturize.

Naku, get the White Lucent brightening softener.  It works to even out the skin tone by eliminating redness, dry patches and pigmentation.  I super love how my skin looks after applying softener.  It's so soft pa.  Worth the price!

Sis, I use the softener twice daily.

What do you mean by using it as a mask?

the SA in Trinoma taught me and my mom to wet a cotton pad and shred the layers into 4 then put them on the face (cheeks, forehead, nose, chin) for 5-10 mins... nakaka moisturize daw... did it once pa lang...

^it's not on sale anymore eh. The new items like the spot control powder foundie aren't on sale, i think selected products lang eh, it's 15% discount.. na-curious na tuloy ako sa white lucent softener! The Skincare softener didn't work for me eh, i felt like it made my skin dry.

^ you should try the white lucent softener =)... i was surprised at how it made my skin look and feel so much calmer... esp the cheeks... the dry, peeling patches have disappeared... i think the key is to use just the right amount and use the proper application technique... you can ask the SAs to teach you...

Saturate a cotton pad with the softener.  Gently pat the skin, never drag.

Ask for a sample or try it sa counter muna.

It's cheaper by at least a thousand when you buy it sa Duty Free.

i've been using the white lucent softener for about 2 wks pa lang...  so i can't say yet that it really whitens...
but what i've noticed is that my skin's texture improved a whole lot... as in after the first 2 days pa lang it got rid of the blotchy and peeling parts.... the reddish pimple marks that i've had from previous pimples are continuously fading....and all i'm using is the softener ( i feel masyadong malagkit na kasi if i add other moisturizing products pa... but maybe when the colder months kick in i might consider the emulsion...)

tapos I went to the beach pa....of course i put on sunblock (shiseido SPF 34 for face and body, the one in the blue bottle)...  pero we were exposed to the sun around 12pm - 5pm, nonstop kc we sent boating ... my face didn't tan at all... i was expecting na i'd have dark spots pero wala... i guess i have white lucent to thank for that...

@purplelassy, the White Lucent products are not whitening per se like products with bleach or gluta whatever.  I don't use whitening products kasi so I am not familiar.  What the line does is to even out the pigmentation and brightens the skin so it looks fairer.  I've been using the WL softener for around 8 months now and from my photos, I could see that it has a brightening effect.  The skin looks more malinaw and malinis, in my case.  I don't have problems with pigmentation, acne or the like.  I have generally good skin.  White Lucent just made it better.

If you want a more aggressive treatment for your dark spots, consult a dermatologist.

Can anyone recommend a good alternative or dupe for Shiseido White Lucent softener? It really works at making my face clear and smooth but I just find the price too prohibitive.  :-[
