I'm just wondering how much an HR and/or Acctg officer with 5 to 6 years experience should get.

I have a friend she's working for 6 years na pero she said yung rate daw niya is parang pang fresh grad.
she got promoted pero parang job position lang, but not with the salary. she got a 5% increase daw. whenever she compute daw salary ng mga ka-officemate nia, she's with payroll ng isang it company...
naiingit daw sya kasi 2 years pa lang yung iba...ka-same rate lang niya.

Depende sa skills mo ang rate. Not all CPAs have the same salary.

Per nung 6 years na ako working, nasa 40k ang salary

^hala para tuloy gusto ko na magbsp.. I passed the professional CSC exam 2 years ago kaso ayaw ko sana maggovernment but ang problem napaka-hindi-stable sa academe lalo pag private.  Iniisip ko na tuloy ang ibang option.  nalulungkot na ako sa thread na ito na naiisip ko na sayang lang ang 7years na ginugol ko sa university e di man lang pumalo ng malaki yung salary. =(

kaya nga marami nagaabroad kasi hindi sapat yung sweldo dito sa pinas and to think nagmamahal ang bilihin. Parang lokohan lang ang nangyari mas malaki pa yung nagastos ng magulang natin para magaral tayo kesa sa sinusweldo natin ngayon. Abroad lang talaga paraan.

Depende sa country na pupuntahan mo sis, kasi minsan malaki nga ang salary, malaki din ang gastos

ay ganun sis pero yung mga kakilala ko na nag abroad andun na sila. Sabi nila saka na babalik ng pinas pag nakaipon na. Baka nagkataon maganda yung lugar na napuntahan nila. Ang hirap na rin kasi sa sg, dubai  yung qatar and saudi medyo maluwag pa ngayon. Not sure sa malaysia though. Pero kung may chance gusto ko talaga matry mag abroad para maexperience din kung mas makakaipon ako dito sa pinas uwi nalang ako.

^true! it really depends on the cost of living because eventhough you are earning that big abroad but the necessities there are expensive e wala din talaga.  wala sa laki ng sweldo ang pagiipon.  malaki sweldo minsan e napakagastos naman.. wala din.

IMO it depends on the cost of living and yung lifestyle mo din. Una sa lahat dapat alam mo ang cost of living sa bansang pupuntahan mo at di ka dapat tumanggap ng sweldo na sa tingin mo eh magigipit ka. Dapat proportion ang sahod sa cost of living. Asa sa iyo naman kung paano mo wawaldasin o iipunin ang perang pinaghihirapan mo eh. Wala nga sa laki ng sahod yan kundi asa disiplina. I am also working in sg and I'm happy to say na on my first year here, nakabili na ako ng lote sa Pinas. Di ko din naman masyadong tinitipid ang sarili ko, alam ko lang siguro kung ano ang dapat ispend at isave. I have my own room here and manage to have vacation in Manila at least every 3 months. Napagbabakasyon ko din ang pamilya ko dito pati si bf.

Btw, I'm  in the IT field. Sa Pinas asa 20-30k ang sahod ko pero wala akong masyadong naipon. Nauubos kakabakasyon at kakakain sa labas  hehe .

one more thing about working and living abroad, don't convert your salary to peso then compare it to the salary of those who worked here in the Philippines. Because they're different. two different countries, cost of living, job market demands, etc..

^at dahil mga it kayo sis irefer niyo ko hehe. Actually napansin ko yung offer sa malaysia hindi rin gaano kataas. Mas ok pa yung ibm philippines kaso malaki tax. Hindi ko na compute kung how much ang tax sa malaysia though sinasabi sakin ng agency doon na mura daw ang cost of living so mas makakaipon daw. Pero syempre kung maliit lang ang difference sa ibm nalang at least mas madali umuwi.

Pero gusto ko pa rin magabroad dahil yung mga nasa line of engineers na course maliit lang ang sweldo sa pinas. malaki pa fresh grad ng it.

When I was applying after graduation, I usually put P20,000 as my expected salary.

But MNC could offer more than that depending on the position and qualifications. I know some batchmates who earn as much as P40k because they are cum laude and topnotchers.

sis saan tong company na 40k is this base salary lang or salary + benefits? My brother have a base salary of 25k pero sa dami ng benefits umabot nga siya sa 40k++ pag compute.

You can check it with Jobstreet.Com nasa 20k plus na yan. Ako kase HR Officer and 1 year experience lang ako nasa 30k-40k range na.
