Hi! I enrolled at GG via my husband's corporate account. Balak ko sana sa Robinsons galleria Branch nila magpunta since yun ang pina ka accessible sa place namin.

Patulong naman mga sis, I have NO GYM experience at all aka NEWBIE pa lang ako. Ano ba dapat attire ang suotin? at saan ba mura bumili?

BTW, may mga tiga GG Galleria branch ba dito? saan kaya ako makaka kuha ng mga scheds ng group classes or workouts?

Hi sis ava_camille!  :)

Noob din ako and I recently went to a branch in Intercon last week.
Pagdating doon, you have the option to change in their locker rooms or be in sweats attire already (jogging pants / tshirts / running shoes will do). Regular tshirts lang ang gamit ko. Hindi na ako bumili ng mga dri-fit shirts. (siguro pag regular gym go-er na ako). I bought my jogging pants sa Landmark at less than Php 200 each. May mga naka-shorts din naman. I think the best is just whatever is comfortable for you. You also have to bring your own combination lock and your own towel.

Yung towels they have it naman for rent for about Php 35 ata.
You can bring your own water or sports drink pero they also sell it there.

Yung mga sched ng group exercises, meron sila sa branch. You can just ask. They will probably give it to you on your first day (orientation kasi ang first day) They will also help you on which machine is for what muscle and how to use it properly). Hope this helps.  ;D

Starting last March 7 all our ggx cardio classes sa Timog has now been Zumba-d! :) Must say it's fun nga, but it also depends on the instructor who teaches the class and how they put the combos together. We have them on Mon/Tues(6:30pm)-Fri(5:30). Just did a Friday class and it was so far the most fun, and sweatiest yet, for me. ;D

Let me add re your shoes when you Zumba: since it's basically a high energy latin dance class there's a lot of pivoting, twists and turns, depending on the intrsuctor, jumping also. So please wear crosstrainers or other flatter soled shoes, not running shoes or your knees will hurt. There are shoes, on the 'net, specifically made or are better for Zumba.

I already wore my Asics xtrainers and my calves were a bit sore the next day. My Rykas did the trick for the next classes as there's more "give" to twisting moves sa forefoot. There was a woman in a Tues class who already told the inst. her knees and legs were hurting due to the moves. A sticky floor didn't help either. Just be forewarned so you can enjoy the class fully, cos it's one big dance party. ;)

I called Gold's Gym Galleria and these are the rates that they gave.

1 month trial 3,88
Limited to 145 visits 1 year, 16,500
Unlimited 25,400 per year

Both the limited and the unlimited can be charged monthly to the card.

How much nyo nakuha corporate rate nyo? Sana pwede makisali.

Ok din pala yung sa Libis. They have a promo til tomorrow na nga lang, 14,100 unlimited access 1 year = 2 extra months. Mura! Pero they open in July 1 pa.
