Hi Sisses, may nagsubmit na ba ng requirements na hindi kasama ang ITR? pag walang ITR ibig sabihin hindi na pwede makapag apply ng visa?

^Lahat sis pwede naman mag-apply ng visa, pero siyempre hindi lahat ma-approve. Depende sa mga documents mo pa na sinubmit. ITR kasi is a way of validating na you really are earning the money that you declared you have for the trip kaya importante siya. My sister is a housewife, so walang employment so walang ITR, still she got a visa.

My bestfriend and I applied for a UK visa last month. We went to VFS Feb 17 and submitted the requirements.  Feb 19, I already got an email that a decision has been made. Feb 22, my friend got the same email as well and we both got SMS that it has been processed. Feb 23 we already got our visa.

When I submitted my documents, the VFS girl asked me if I already traveled to EU countries. Don't know if it helped but I think it did.

Good to know the UK visa has a fast turnaround time. I'll be renewing palang my passport starting next week so end March pa makaka-apply for UK Visa, then Schengen Visa right after. Mid May na alis ko. Stressss haha

Sis, did you avail the Priority (express) service? Dati kasi pag regular lang, sabi nila 2 weeks. When we applied 2 years ago, we availed Priority kaya few days lang din.

No, we didn't avail the priority/express service. I was expecting as well that it'll take around 10-15 days but to our surprise mga 5 days lang.

kelangan pa ba iprint yung appointment confirmation? if yes, san ko sya makukuha? yung email kasi nila wala namang attachements na confirmation letter. they just stated yung sked and some other details.

kelangan din ba iprint sa paper ang day to day itinerary ng stay namin sa UK? like sa japan visa, stating where to go on first day, second day and so on?

Read somewhere that 90% of applications get approved basta kumpleto requirements. Pinsan kong bum, naapprove. Show money lang daw yung laban.

Kasi I received na yesterday afternoon 'yung email from the British embassy na dedeliver na daw to VFS 'yung docs ko (a decision has been made blah blah). I applied for a Tier 2 Work Visa. Nabasa ko kasi dito and even my friends said na same day lang 'yung mail ng embassy and VFS. As of writing wala pa din sms and email nga from VFS. 2 kami ng friend ko na same situation right now. Eh we can't pickup the passport naman without VFS' notification.

VFS isn't that efficient
If the Embassy said released na -- call VFS & inquire

The VFS for Spain -- charged us 150 each ha eh 1 family of 5 kami (minor pa kids). Para daw to text us for pick up. (Sa UK VFS no such text charge). Crap! 150 each eh unli naman halos lahat di ba

I really filed a written complaint to the Spanish Embassy on such negligence.

Yang VFS na yan mga collector Lang yan  of papers
The stoopz woman accepting for the Spanish Embassy couldn't even understand the documents she was receiving.  That VFS "interview" is a waste of time -- dapat messenger na Lang pinadadala with the documents and application.
Maka asta pa sila kala mo may say sa approval.  Yayabang eh may punto na  ewan ang English ('Day, Hindi ka papasa sa call center)  They are just there to accept documents

As long as you can provide a healthy bank cert (the banks already know the format for which embassy) and you are not a govt employee -- sure yan, lusot ka.  Sa plane tickets -- booking docu Lang kelangan.  Impt pala you provide travel insurance.

It is easy nowadays to get the UK visa.
Lalo na if you have a current U.S./Australian/Schengen visa -- you will not be denied. Basta talagang tourist ka ha.

Hello, matagal pa leadtime ng UK visa application these days? I got my Schengen visa (via France VFS) within 3 days after application and im hoping the UK one will go as smoothly since my trip is in 5 weeks.

^We still didn't get ours, Mar. 23 kami nag submit sa VFS. My friend got an email last friday, they submitted theirs last Mar. 21.

That's discouraging it would be a close call for me if ever since I havent even gathered the requirements.. thinking of dropping UK nalang.
