^hi po.ask ko lang po kasi i will be travelling to UK with my bf in December.  Nag aasikaso na po kami ng requirements for tourist visa at anytime soon pwede na ko magpaappointment.  Lahat po ba ng documents e sa kin lang manggagaling or kailangan ko din ng ibang documents from my bf (who is Scottish)?Sponsored naman po nya un trip at magkasama kami pupunta dun.  How much po ba yun tama lang na budget for 10 days?  Ask ko din po may interview ba sa application ng visa o verification lang ng docs at biometrics ang gagawin? ^If you apply now magsstart na agad ang visa and its just good for 6mos.

All details of Tourist Visa application and documents are on their website and since you are sponsored you have to show all financial documents from him. Depends also if you'd be called for interview - its all in the hands of the embassy.

^COE kailangan kase tinatawagan talaga ng embassy yung employer niyo, itinerary yes part ng application form yan (actually lahat iisa isahin) pero no need to pass air tickets, hotel bookings UNLESS IREQUIRE nila.

This is proving to them that you are just travelling as a tourist or visiting with the intention to leave before the visa expires.

question mga sis, kasi i applied for UK visa last Wednesday, and on the same day, may text yun VFS na na-forward na nila yun application to UKVI. tapos this monday lang, may email ako na-receive na "a decision has been made" then a text again from VFS on tuesday na "the processed visa application for DWF... was received on 9/1/2015"

should i wait for another text that says ready to pick-up na yun passports or yun na yun? rush visa kinuha namin, 6th day na ngayon if counted yun Wednesday.

I have a friend na hindi makapaglogin here and she has a question so I really need your help gtalkers to help my friend.

His bf, 3 months pa lang sila is inviting her sa UK for 3 months vacation. As per her boyfriend, he already applied a tourist visa for her inviting her to come to his country and will be available daw 25 to 33 days.It was applied Nov. 13. Questions:

- if he already applied a visa for her, will she need to go through all the process na na-post niyo dito? Like going to VFS, submitting all docs, etc...

- He wants her to come the soonest time. Is that possible. According to her bf,mostly invitation visas are surely approved.

- Arkitekto si guy UK citizen naman and has his own house but my friend is jobless (recently laid off from work) and plans to go back here before the 2nd quarter for her backpay. Does this have a higher rate or lower rate ofbeing approved/denied?

- From the guys' end, anong docs ang klangan niyang ipadala sa friend ko?

- Kung si guy ang nag-apply ngvisa for her, good as is na yun? Ano pa ang need ng friend kong gawin from her end.

Sorry, my friend is so new to this at wala din nman akong maitulong coz I have never done this before.

Not unless this Brit has connections in UK Visas & Immigration (VI), I don't understand how he could have applied a tourist visa for her on her behalf. There is nothing on the UK Government's official website detailing this option, and while they can be a bit muddy with some very specific details, I cannot see anything stipulated about someone else making an application for another person. Ask him what is the Reference Number for the application -- this number is provided by the UK VI for all applications lodged.

If he did (which, again, I doubt), yes, she will still need to go through all of it. UK VI is looking at the person coming in to the country and necessarily the person they are visiting, not unless the application involves an invitation letter provided by said person. In your friend's case, she will be submitting the application herself, and her British boyfriend's letter of invitation will be part of her supporting documents.

Visa applications are processed at the times provided on the UK Government's website. Again, not unless this Brit is a high ranking government official or knows the correct people, I doubt there is any shortcut to this. Her application may very well be approved, but like all applications, they are approved if UK VI is happy with the supporting documents.

This only answers one question that immigration officers want to know, which is where is the tourist staying during their stay in the UK (evidenced by a letter written and signed by the host addressed to UK VI). Other questions that need to be answered via supporting documents would be how is she supporting herself while she is in the UK (this includes general expenses and health insurance), and when she is going back to her home country (evidenced by a return ticket).

As mentioned above, the letter of invitation. If he's completely financing her stay, he will most likely need to show bank statements, but if this is the case, I can already see immigration raising red flags and most likely deny.

Again, I doubt he can apply a visa for her. She'll have to do everything.

^^ Hi sis, am sorry to be rude, but san sila nagmeet yung friend mo? If he starts asking for money from her, this might be a scam.  I used to live in the UK, and had been a resident for more than 6 years. All that time, madami na akong kakilala na nagpetiton or tumulong sa mga better half nila. Wala pa akong nakilala na na approve ang UK visa from the UK, and hindi nagapply sa consulate counterpart sa Pinas in person. Those who were able to go and visit the UK applied for tourist visas in the Philippines. They need to appear in person, because they also need to get their biometrics taken. Sabihin mo sa froend mo, better check the UK.gov website  to try and find out mga requirements. And tama ang sis natin na  nagpost above, ask for a reference or case number. All applicants will have a unique case number that will only be given to him or her. Eto yung reference nya para malaman nya kung ano na ang nangyayari sa case nya. And if kung ang bf nya ang mag shoulder sa kanya. Her boyfriend will be sending bank documents, payslips,  invitation letter etc.
