My OB/RE is Dra. Leonila Estole-Casanova.  2years na kasi akong TTC, so this year I finally decided to be serious about getting preggy kaya nag-pa-check-up na ko sa OB (makait med), pero when i was asked to undergo HSG, naisip ko ( and based na rin sa mga nabasa ko dito sa GT) na better siguro na sa infertility specialist na ko magpa-consult.  Super basa talaga ako ng mga thread dito regarding OB/RE then recently I decided to see Dra Casanova.  It was worth it.  Mabait kasi sya, tsaka super explain sya what goes on sa reproductive system natin.  Madali rin ma-contact at sumasagot sa text.  Another thing, yung rate nya is also reasonable.  Accredited din sya sa mga HMO providers. 

I had my HSG last Aprll 29 with her sa MCM.  Thank God, patent naman ang tubes ko.  I harldy felt pain talaga during HSG unlike sa mga nabasa ko sa HSG Thread.  Totoo nga yung sabi ng isang sis natin "magaan ang kamay ni dra". 

I suggest pa-check kayo sa kanya.  On Saturdays, eto sked nya: 1-5pm Asian Hospital ; 5-7pm Healthway ATC

Finally got a hold of Dra. Casanova's secretary Ms. Queen, na explain naman nya na Wednesdays lang sila tumatanggap ng new patients kasi upto 1 hr ang consultation kay Dra. However, I got Dra's number thru one of our girl talkers here and lakas loob akong nagtanong if she can squeeze us in sa Saturday kasi manggagaling pa kami ni hubby ng Baguio City - SHE SAID YES! 

Super naiiyak ako sa appreciation (erm, yes, hormones?) na binigyan nya kami ng consideration. Immediately nagtext na kami sa isa't isa at nagbigay na sya instructions in prep for our check up on saturday,she even told us na mag-ingat sa byahe - sobrang extra mile talaga!

Would be visiting her on Saturday, would post feedback immediately <3

Nag backread ako to my last post on this thread (Nov 2013) when I still was TTC. We got pregnant January this year through IUI with Dr. Joan Tan Garcia. This was our first try. We underwent 2 IUI procedures with our previous doctor but both failed. I highly recommend Dr. Joan Tan Garcia. Nag pray pa kame before starting the IUI procedure. And she's super kalog and nagrereply sa text. Wala pa kame 1 year with Dra and nag positive na agad. I am now 25wks

sa mga patients ni dra. aguilar, do I need to schedule an appointment with her or punta nalang ako sa clinic nia? planning to go to Padre Faura kasi nabasa ko dito 350 consultation then tvs 500. please correct me if I'm wrong.

A brief background on us. Im 45 and wifey is 38. TTC for one year wala. Switched OB's based on the recommendation of a close friend. My SA were kinda low. Wifey wala naman problems. After 3 months workup with new OB si wifey is 4 months pregnant na.

 Here is the contact details of our OB. Our ob is Dra. Elizabeth Israel. Clinic at fe del mundo med center. Tel. 2633775 mon to sat 10am to 2pm (except thurs).  Consult fee niya is 600. And hindi ka mamadaliin when you see her. Also she replies kahit nag [textspeak!] ka even late at night and kahit nasa abroad siya. Plus hindi siya mukhang pera. Kung kaya tipid without sacrificing anything ok lang for her.

Kay dra. Aguilar ako okay siya nag oovulate ako sa mga meds na pina iinom niya PCOS patient TTC for 3 years now. Pero nun may iinject daw sakin na 26k worth dahil ang tibay daw ng ovaries ko haha! Sabi ko sa sarili ko teka nga muna, magpapapayat muna ako. Eat right. Sleep right. I smoke so I quit now. I take lots of supplement then I'll start fresh next year hoping na maregular asawa ko para kahit every week e may health card ako. Haha! (Kuripot)

Thank you sa referral, we went to Dra. Israel na, kasama ko si hubby and to be honest mas ok ang approach nya dahil mas magaan sya kausap at talagang ini explain nya mabuti ang procedure.  Tama ka, lahat ng pwede mong itanong sinasagot nya at hindi sya nagmamadali. At least ngayon pati si hubby kelangan ma monitor din ang SA nya, unlike before na malinaw naman na wala sa akin ang problema kundi sa Sperm count ni hubby pero hindi na address mabuti. 

Congrats sa inyo ni wifey mo and inspirasyon ka sa kagaya ko na may same case din na SA is very low.

Start na schedule ng work up namin.

plan din namin sya puntahan ni hubby this november hinihintay ko lang AF ko para bagong cycle.  Hm ang tvs sa kanya and sperm analysis pa pm please pati details ni dra.

Si Dra. Israel napaka accommodating, very scientific ang approach nya at hindi ka talaga mahihiyang mag ask ng questions, yung tipong unang visit ko pa lang eh palagay na agad ang loob ko.

After kunin ang medical history nyong mag asawa, gagawa na sya ng sched ng work up nyo at detailed nyang explain sa inyo, 2nd fertility doc ko na sya.

Dra Israel does not do SA's or TVS. Both procedure bahala kayo where you want to have it done. If she needs more detailed TVS she will ask you to do it at St lukes which is more expensive. If not kahit dyan sa fe del mundo pwede na (800 pesos). SA have it done sa St Luke's CARMI. (1,200php). Believe me your hubby will thank me for it instead of going to any lab. Two hours after you can get results na.  TVS sa st lukes around 2,400. Also you can get cheaper clomid kay Doctora. She understands kasi most patient find it expensive kaya she gets it cheaper. We got all our clomid straight from her. You have to tell her in advance lang kasi palagi ubos.

Just got back from our OB. sino girltalker here who went to see her na is leaving for SG? Nahihinayang sayo si doctora. If you undergo the procedure laki chance mo daw to get preggy.

^^bro, sorry medyo OT. ask ko lang paano pumunta sa fe del mundo kung manggaling ako ng espana? parang gusto ko rin pacheck sa OB nyo. kaso kinakatakot ko, baka back to square 1 kami at pagawa ulit lahat ng tests. i have endo rin kasi, si hubby naman low sperm count. 4th OB ko na sya kung sakali matuloy kami. ayaw ko kasi ng OB na hindi matyaga mag explain, yung lagi nagmamadali tapos parang walang concern kundi kumita ng pera.. parang ganun kasi yung OB ko. salamat!
