i've heard of dra sualao, and as they say shes really good, yun nga lang she's not accommodating, she would say DON'T TEXT ME I HATE IT, IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS MY NURSES WILL BE THE ONE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME, and now it kept me thinking whether to go and see her or not

^ MY ob was like that before, pero ang mellow down na siya ngayon ;p I don't know what happened. Pero I suggest that you guys get an OB na you can text, or comfortable with and very approachable, kasi pag nabuntis kayo, lalo na sa mga first timers, siyempre madaming worries yan, importante na kampante sila pag preggers na

I and hubby have been ttc for 15 mos already. Since then di pa rin makabuo. Pero for a period of 1 year since we started, naging irregular ako, like 40-50 cycle days (prior ttc, 30-35 days lang), only to find out that I was diagnosed with PCOS. Then ob prescribed me metformin and it helps my mens to be regular. Siguro since nagtake ako ng metformin, 4 mos na 29-31 days cycle. Now, we thought that problem lies on my husband. And I dont think he has infertility issues like in his semens counts/quality. Pagpalagay na lang na okay naman pero we still opt to check it din. Problem nya talaga is, he ejaculates so much faster to the point di pa nare-reach sa loob, tapos na sya. I know this has nothing to do with fertility. Pero nakaka-disappoint lang, i know tanggap ko na I will never get satisfied but I want to bear a child!. He lacks testosterone daw nung nagpacheck up kami. So naisip namin, magpa IUI.

Tama ba mga sis, IUI na lang for sure na his sperm cells gets through my cervix? Ano ba dapat naming gawin?

I think sis IUI na kayo. I had mine last wednesday sa st Luke's kasi may problem din is hubby sa sperm na Hindi umabot sa uterus ko DAW kaya IUI Lang talaga ang last result para direct sa uterus ko at Hindi na kailangan mag swim sa follopian and cervix. I spent 24k All with med, pf and procedure. Hope mag work sa amin...good luck!

Dra Valerie Guinto OB ko pero SLMC global sya and Don Santiago Taft, Asian lang....she has sariling ultrasound sa Taft nga lang kaya i usually have my check up sa taft since we'r near the area then the IUI was performed in SLMC global.

Dra. Sualao is my OB also, she was the one who did my laparoscopy two months ago.  She is really good talaga... quite frank and she will really tell you if you should or should not be her patient... She's mabait naman and jolly din... even made kwento re her husband's (well, i don't know as case to case basis siguro... swerte lang siguro kasi pareho sila chinese ng husband ko, matanong kasi hubby ko :-) ...
After my lap, she told me if i have questions re my ivf she can help me naman daw explain... Puntahan ko lang cia as i told her before under kay Dr. Lee kami in taiwan... She knows him and if I remember it right, parang nasabi nia ata sa amin before na si Dr. Lee isa sa mga nag train sa kanya...
But now it changed as we found Dr. Novero na nga... We will undergo ivf 1st quarter in 2012...  Very accomodating si Dr. Nov as he really finds time to explain talaga...

yes i can send you her clinic details in west ave, parang 3x a week lang siya doon kasi nasa womens health siya in saint lukes e.rod, kaya lang i left it in the office, so i'll send it to you on monday

does anyone know the difference between an endo-repro ob gyne from a high risk perinatologist ob gyne?

^^ ang pagkakaintindi ko sis ang endo-repro ob specializes on trying to conceive/fertility issues then perinatologist ata specializes on pregnancy na yung baby na pinagbubuntis may risk ng defects or abnormalities.
