You are a spirit child of the "Source of all things".  You are also a "spark" of his Godliness.  You are a god in "embryo".  For this truth please understand, you are one with God.  in a sense, you are god.  I do not think you need to worship a god other than the God that is in you.  We all have "higher selves".  this higher self is directly connected to the highest realms of godliness.  therefore, God is never distant.  God has already given everyone the power to lead a life that you want to design for yourself.  You have the power to create your own reality.  Your thoughts, words and actions are powerful enough.  God will not create a life for you.  He has given you that privilege, so use it to the fullest.  When down and out and feeling lonely, be assured that you have th power to uplift yourself.  You have the resolve to change your life and state of being.  Hope this helps

well, i can say that today i'm facing one of the toughest trials in my life. yun tipong feeling ko ang dami dami ko ng dasal, ilang beses humiling. pero parang hindi NYA naririnig o ang layo layo nya. may times na nag eemote na lang ako. pero lagi kong iniisip na hindi dapat mawalan ng pag-asa. Kasi hindi naman sa lahat ng bagay eh tinalikuran Nya ako. So iniisip ko na lang na may be it's not yet HIS perfect time. Or its just a trial, para masubukan kung hanggang saan ang faith ko with HIM. wag dapat tayong bibitaw sa KANYA. Magtiwala tayo sa KANYA. Kapit lang.

sa lahat ng problema lagi kong iniisip "kapit lang kay Lord, hindi nya tayo papabayaan.. minsan kahit gusto na natin bumitaw still si God yung pilit na humahawak sa atin" hindi naman talaga nya tayo totally pinapabayaan, minsan kailangan nya lang talaga tayong bigyan ng trials para masukat kung hanggang saan ang kaya natin at para patatagin pa tayo.. i always bear in mind hinding hindi tayo papabayaan ng ating Panginoon basta tiwala lang tayo lagi sa Kanya. whatever happens God is always with us. ibigay natin lahat sa Kanya at Sya rin mismo angtutulong sa atin..lakas lang ng loob at pananampalataya..

Hello fellow believers. I wasn't able to read all the post pero some of what I read made my eyes teary. Siguro na touch ako and nafeel ko na lahat tayo may storms talaga.

Siguro earlier this year I been praying to God na maging ok yung relationship ko ulet to the guy that I love pero di niya sinagot. May tampo like asking "bakit hindi?". Pero dun sa struggle na yung di ako aware si God pala binabago na yung heart ko. He's been revealing to me how much he loves me. Dun ko nasabi "Lord ganito mo pala ko kalove no, kahit masaktan ka basta ako ok, ok lang sayo".

God have 3 answers daw sa prayers natin its either yes, no or I have something better for you.

Pero wag tayo susuko kasi sabi nga sa Matthew 7:7
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Baka minsan di lang talaga tama yung desire ng puso natin kaya sabi nga sa Matthew 6:33
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Ang point kasi dapat itune natin yung heart's desire nating kay God. God will answer your prayer kung magoglorify nun si God.

thank God for the crisis or trial you are going through... praise Him for teaching you a lesson.. tell Him you are holding on.. you'll see, the crisis will be over before you know it.

may i share...I've been having this financial crisis for the longest time.  What I do is pray, surrender and lift up everything to HIM.  There were times that I can feel His presence, other times I feel He seems distant especially when meron ka na gustong gusto makuha and hindi Niya ibinibigay.  I questioned him, pour out my heart to HIM, may konting sumbat like "why si ganito, she got this, why not me?" ako nagsisimba and nagdadasal sya hindi, bakit LORD"  Afterwards tatahimik ako then I'll realized wala ako karapatan na manumbat.  And I'll say sorry to HIM.

And then, I thank HIM coz i know He won't give me trials na di ko kakayanin.  And He's just preparing me for something BIG.

I won't dwell na sa mga unanswered prayers ko instead I will ask HIM to take charge.

Iniisip ko na lang na lahat ng pinag dadaanan kong trials at pagsubok lang lahat dahil di naman nya ibibigay ang pagsubok ng higit pa sa aking kakayahan.  Chaka, siguro sinisubukan di  nya ang patience level ko kung hanggang saan.

Many times I feel that Good seems distant. Sometimes losing hope, but. I know he is just there. Tiwala kay God kasi sya lang ang talagang puedeng makatulong sa lahat ng pagsubok sa buhay. Kahit minsan feeling ko anlayo nya pero I know he is just testing my faith kaya kapit lang.

I read all your comments yesterday and made me realize one thing; when God is distant, it is when I failed counting my blessings.

I was at the stage of questioning why parang I could not feel God in my life. I had been constantly close to him then suddenly, I drifted away. Tinatamad ako mag novena, magdasal, and even going to mass became like an obligation to me. Then I started building my relationship back with God and started asking pero it seems like He's not listening. I looked for this thread and read your comments one by one and I realize na yun nga, it seems na hindi ko lang nakikita yung blessings because I was too glued of wanting something that I forgot I have many.

You know what, my son's classmate made me realize this. A young 10 yr old boy. while i was driving my kids from school, my son said na hiniram daw ng classmate niya yung cp and started browsing photos. nahiya daw siya sa mga nakalagay because i tend to take photos of everything so kukunin niya na yung cp nya when the boy commented na bakit daw siya mahihiya buti pa nga kami masaya and complete yung family. and there i realized that God just recently gave me the greatest blessing of all, we recently fixed our family after years of being separated. this made me cry so hard. i felt ashamed that i kept on asking for trivial matters when God already gave something really big. it must have taken God a big deal of effort to fix our family, when me and my husband were both convinced for years that we're better off alone. this is a blessing. I am blessed and God is never distant.

^agree sis, God is never distant. When me and my bf broke up, sa una masaya ako, then i realized what ive done (kasi ako nakipagbreak haha). then i just lifted all my sorrows, hurt, pain and sadness to him. believe it or now, nawala talaga lahat. im thankful that my parents are serving sa church every sunday so sumasama ako magsimba sa kanila talaga. there are times na maiiyak ako when praying after communion pero ok lang. kasi I know na kung masakit o mahirap yung naf-feel ko, alam ko na kalahati na lang yung nararamdaman ko kasi God is sharing the pain with me. Nalungkot pa ko kasi 1st xmas & ny na wala kami in a long time... and God made my nephew stay longer for the holidays kasi maselan pregnancy ng mom nya to travel before xmas. selfish man isipin pero sobrang depressed ako isipin nun na magisa ako, iiyak lang ako buong holiday hahaha! but now, di ko na iniisip. it's only been a month and a half pero sobrang ok na ok na talaga ako. i leave everything to God and i've learned to enjoy everything and live in the present and not think of what could happen with me in the future. Bahala na si God. His plan is greater than my plan, as always.

Been struggling with my personal problems for the past 3 years. I never ceased Praying, i even pray the Novena to Our Lady of Manaoag. Pero bakit ganun, parang kahit anong dasal ko, i feel like im being ignored, na parang hindi pinakikinggan. I don't want to lose my faith now, but i can't help it. My situation with my ex-partner did not improve, it even worsened.

Saklap kasi pag may specific kang hinihingi tapos "wait" or "no" ang sagot. Pero kung comfort and strength ang hingin mo, baka positive ang maging sagot. O kaya "Thy will be done. I surrender. I trust in You." Although ang hirap din dasalin nyan.

Inhale and Exhale. I listen to words of God (youtube). Read bible and then surrender everything even if I felt like God is distant to me. Then I felt better, my mind is clear (after) and felt I have rejuvenated.
