asa main road lang (aguinaldo highway, if i'm not mistaken) yung entrance ng dirt road leading to it although the sign isn't very big so you have to be watchful. it actually looks less like a farm than a woodsy retreat. they offer pottery workshop and sell beautiful ceramic items. may "sorta" playground din from what i remember (tire swing, ladder made of wood and rope hanging from a tree, etc.).

they don't serve food or drinks, though (at least the last time we went there, ewan ko lang ngayon), so they directed us to abundant place, which has a beautiful layout and serves kakanin, hot tsokolate and tarragon tea.

back to tagaytay: there's also the philippines-japan friendship park right next to manaoag, but there isn't much there naman, just a small japanese-y park with a small bridge over a small pond. cute naman din mag-picture-taking.

for knick-knacks, you can go to the blackrose shop below papa prito at the grandview (by the rotunda). may bazaar din sa taal vista selling local items like bath items, carvings and some delicacies.

people also flock the cliff house because of the nice view and ambiance. i especially enjoy the frozen yogurt place (fling), although baka masyado nang malamig with this weather.

i love tagaytay... ang default hotel namen lage is estancia. i love the bahay kubo accomodation kahit medyo far from lobby pero at least they have indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna not too many people go there as well so naeenjoy namen yung place

hello mga sisses..san ang estancia? and any place that you can recommend where we can stay overnight? like for 6 people? sana [textspeak!] allowed [textspeak!] drinks, may pool and videoke or khit TV lang..then we'll bring our own mic.

Moon Garden is not along mainroad, you can go there thru SVD road, left turn coming from Manila (Aguinaldo Highway), landmark is yung Amira's. Me mga tricycle din nagiintay sa kanto if you'll be commuting. Ako I personally love the place kasi very serene also yung Zen- inspired nila na design. Before they are allowing daytour but with breakfast meal lang.  But now strictly B&B sila at you need to stay overnight.

along main road lang ang estancia. nag-company outing kami dyan before and andami naka-experience ng "something". buti na lang ako walang naramdaman o nakita kasi that time mag-isa lang ako sa cottage after dinner because i wasn't feeling well. yung mga roommates ko madaling-araw na nagsipagdatingan.

Just want to share this with you girls! BF and I went to Tagaytay last Nov.23-24, we stayed at The Theodore Hotel. And the place is nice, they only have 10 rooms so you can feel that the place is very private. feeling nga  namin ni BF kami lang tayo, ang tahimik and ang bait ng staff. Maliit lang yung place pero sobrang natuwa kami ni boylet dahil sa ganda ng service at ang ganda ng room. sulit yung bayad. hehe


also, you should try going to cliffhouse.  they have clear view of taal volcano there, we had our lunch at boun giorno, cliffhouse and reserved the opium bed kaya mas lalo naging romantic. we love it

Been here once I think two years ago. If you don't like crowded place like Picnic Grove you may opt to try this place. Last time we went there walang ibang tao kaya super enjoy yung mga anak ng kasamahan ko. They even have a pool aside from the small playground, picnic area, garden and even a mini forest you can go down to. They both offer day and overnight stay, though you have to bring your own tent.

^Yes sis, after Picnic grove lang yung Nature's Camp and it's along Highway. Very visible din yung signage nila. Just to make sure, make your reservation na rin para you can be sure na there is available slot when you plan to visit.

We're planning to spend the Christmas Day in Tagaytay. We have kids and we want them to enjoy the breeze in Tagaytay. Ang worry ko lang is kung hindi ba maulan during December sa Tagaytay?

^ Hi sis share ko lang. We've been spending Christmas Day in Tagaytay for 4 consecutive years already. So far, wala naman kami naeencounter na malakas na ulan, siguro depende na lang talaga if may typhoon. Sobrang lamig especially sa umaga and then ma-fog, so just take extra care in driving.

Hwllo girls, just wondering if you know where to download a map of Tagaytay? Tried google but walang matino puro un specific hotel lang. I was looking for a map yung tipong whole city talaga. Thanks in advance.

we'll visit Tagaytay before Christmas day. traditionally we eat dinner at Taal Vista and listen sa music sa may lounge. thinking where else we can eat. i tried backreading pero wala mashadong bagong food choices, baka may suggestions kayo. we've tried Antonio's pero baka may cheaper alternative kayo. Sonya's naman ok sana but we plan to go there ng gabi kaya baka hindi din namin maenjoy ang garden. tia.

i was there last night with my bf and his friends. maulan kahapon so expected na malamig grabe ang fog sobrang kapal! we ate late lunch at mahogany market. 1st time ko kumain don and all i can say is masarap!! mura pa! imagine 5 kami kumain our bill is only 850. 1 bulalo, papaitan,lechon kawali, kaldereta 5 rice 1.5 coke 1 mineral water and 1 pineapple juice in can. super sulit! 1st time ko kumain don eh. then we went to starbucks. don kami upstairs sobrang lamig.. then around 6 nagyaya sila uminom. we went to dencio's naginuman silang boys until 10pm kami don. nung pauwi na kami umuulan super love ko talaga tagaytay sa mga biglaan lakad..
