we were in tagaytay last nov16 kasi church interview namin super ginaw! dumating kami ni h2b 8am umuulan na and zero visibility na due to fog.. umuwe kami ng 11am pero ganun pa din.. di sumikat ang araw.. then bumalik kami last saturday for our seminar naman, mas maaga kami dumating mga 6:30am, normal lang.. malamig ang hangin pero di maginaw.. may araw din..

Super nice weather now sa Tagaytay. Luckily, i live nearby so I can come as often as I want. Last time was when I attended mass in Pink Sister's then diretso breakfast na at Pancake house. Sobrang ma-fog, sarap ng hangin. Da best talaga sa Tagaytay.

^me too... super lapit lang namin dito... around 20 minutes daan namin from trece is indang... not aguinaldo highway...

@izzybaby: it's doable naman, a lot of the girls here have done it and had a great time. personally, though, i haven't gone around tagaytay without my own car. it's more convenient pa rin kasi if since not all the nice spots are that close to one other. may time pa naman. try to borrow a vehicle (or invite someone who has one? ang user-friendly, i know. but hey, it can be someone you enjoy being around naman, right?) so you can spend less time stressing about catching a ride and more time enjoying the place. just a thought.

Yes sis queens, super happy ako I live near Tagaytay kasi weather is really good. I feel dami dami pang kelangan i-explore here in Tagaytay.

Any suggestions on where to stay at Tagaytay this Christmas day for a family of 8-10. May mga kasama kaming kids and gusto ko sana makapasyal sila sa picnic grove.

thanks isobel! haven't tried commuting going there as well. sadly my friends whom i used to take advantage of so to speak lol are no longer kaladkarin since they are either busy with boyfie or hubby. but yes, may time pa so i need to make new friends with car haha just kiddin.

i want to feel the Christmas breeze sana so I want to stay overnight.

@izzybaby: haha, sayang! sagabal kasi talaga minsan pagcommute sa plans. recently nga, i invited some of my friends for a halloween party there and one of them got there really late na kasi nagpupuno pa yung shuttle. after two hours, hindi pa rin umaalis! buti na lang determined sya to go. if all else fails, maybe you can rent? tapos keep na lang your destinations to those na nadadaanan ng public transportation para hindi mahirap

@heavenleigh: how about The Overlook Inn? the place seems cozy and the view's great from there. i remember i was shown a room for groups when i was in the hunt for a place to stay for my friends (yung may 3 big beds and a bath tub, meron din yata yung may bunk beds). sister company nya yung new orleans auberge hotel across the road. cute din yun, pero wala yata silang pang groups, unless magdagdag ng mattresses and magsiksikan. i'll give you a link to their rates kasi mahirap sya hanapin sa google for some reason: http://neworleansaubergehotel.com/overlook_rates.html

same side lang sila from rotonda nasa left side not on the taal view. magkalapit lang sila pero pag nilakad malayo layo rin.

^^ I like moon garden, have you heard of this place? Bed and Breakfast din siya like the others. Super nice yung ambience niya. Perfect for weekend getaway.

Moon Garden now ko lang narinig yan sounds romantic along main road ba ito?
how about a place for a day tour visit  or hang out lang aside rsm and lesli

that's residence inn, although may tie-up sila with paradizoo (ticket for one gets you into the other yata). the latter is farther down the road pa and may papasukin pang street. it's a petting zoo, malaki and maluwang yung place. we had a picnic there before. daming flowers and grassy grounds.

there's also potter's ridge, pero hindi na yata tagaytay yun. nadadaanan lang.

naalala ko yang moon garden, hindi ko pa napapasok! everytime i go there kasi it's closed. i think they're closed mondays, eh sunday-monday lang naman off ko and parati ko nakakalimutan so when i get there, nakalock na naman. looks interesting, though.

potter's ridge  pwede bang day tour dyan? di ba yan bed and breakfast?

oops, mixed it up: cornerstone pottery farm pala! lovely place din, although it's in silang. but so is ilog maria, so i guess it's ok. madadaanan mo lang din.

potter's ridge is a hotel in tagaytay. haven't stayed there, though.
