Local rates will always be lower as compared to a resort's/hotel's published rates even with taxes. 

I received an email from Amanpulo that they will be closed for the whole month of June because they will be refurbishing their casitas. So as of now they still don't have any local rates, they will be advising me after they complete their refurbishment.

My family and I were supposed to go to Amanpulo sometime this month but na postpone to next year. Yung rate na binigay sa amin is P1320 per night for treetop casita. Parang cheaper yung rate nung pumunta kami 2 years ago.
