Nung makita ko thread na ito naalala ko yun feeling when i first set my feet on the ground...kala ko nasa paradise ako...lahat maganda...lahat breathtaking talaga.

I'm so inlove with the Beach Club..nun i tour kami dito nasabi ko talaga sa Manager namin dun ako ilagay ako sa Beach Club kahit ako lang mag isa kaya and luckily granted yun wish ko...for one year I owned the beach club...my fortress...my heaven...haizt really love it. un sunset...un itsura nya sa umaga...un silver lining nya..un tubig...tunog ng alon...haizt..MISS BEACH CLUB!!!

I know sa simpleng pamumuhay ko never na akong makakabalik sa Amanpulo kaya nga lahat ng moments ko there pagnaiiisip ko minsan naiiyak ako yet feel blessed kasi Amanpulo is not for ordinary people like me...i missed the place so much...hanggang panaginip nalang kita mababalikan Amanpulo.

yeah mashadong mahal sa amanpulo, actually kasama to sa 1000 places to visit before you die book. Jusko with that price, eh di pupunta na lang ako sa isang 5 star hotel sa cuba, all inclusive pa. It's crazy! But i think ito yung way nila to preserve nga yung place, para at least hindi sha ma torture ng ibang bakasyonista.

yep, i agree with you about its their way of preserving the place. the selling point naman kasi talaga ng amanpulo is its "exclusivity" and so in order to provide that exclusivity, they have to make the price "exclusive" - meaning, talagang mali-limit ang market nila to a few. mostly private islands lang naman ang makakapagbigay ng ganung exclusivity so that's the way it is. celebs need their privacy din naman, hehe.

so tayo na regular people, di naman natin kailangan ng exclusivity, so ibang target market tayo.

though pangarap ko pa rin makapunta dun - di naman masama mangarap, hehe.

any newer reviews about actual experiences in amanpulo?  i'm specifically interested in piecemeal cost for activities like diving, private bbq, reserving the sandbar area or kawayan bar for dinner, fishing trips, etc.  and if anybody has stayed in a villa, was everything cooked and prepared by the private chef included in the villa price?  or was each meal extra?  thanks!

we're also planning to go here, hindi naman kami talaga kasing yaman ng mga celebs, o ng mga tycoons ng Pilipinas,

Tumawag ako ang rate nila until dec. 2013:

39,000/room/night

ang kasya lang sa isang room eh 3 adults and 1 kid below 12, kung more than kayo diyan, you need to pay for two rooms.

Then yung flight rate nila 15,000/adult

so kung konti lang naman kayo, hindi naman pala ganun talaga kamahal, para ngang Bellarocca lang siya.

dati nagwork ako sa Amanpulo and that time they are allowing over night stay. me package nga sila dati na for Filipino  meaning mas mababa rate than foreigner.

I'm not sure ngayon pero alam ko dati iba ang bayad ng room, iba din bayad ng food, bayad ng plane etc..kumbaga everything babayadan mo ng isa isa.

i think the 39k is only room with breakfast.

yes it's 15k per head round trip.

Bellarocca is waaayyyy cheaper kasi the flight pwede sa zest air which is mura lang and the food is not as expensive as Amanpulo.

I have been to both Bellarocca and Amanpulo and malayo ang presyo nila room per night palang. 13k yung room namin sa Bellarocca before versus 34k sa amanpulo per night if i remember the figures right.

^may ofcmate din ako dati na diyan nagwork sister niya sa amanpulo so every year nagpupunta sila sa amanpulo, 5 years din yata sila na every summer nandun. pero nagresign din sister niya, nalungkot yata.

ang alam ko wala. The only difference is kapag nag stay ka ng 4 days and 3 nights upgraded agad ang room sa beach casita. - Yun kasi ginawa namin ng husband ko.

I think naman the minimum should really be 2 nights.

Kasi kung 1 night lang (over night) parang sayang flight, 15k binayad for overnight stay lang.

there's a minimum length of stay during peak season. check their website:

The rate we got last 2011 was Local rate. I checked the invoice they sent us last 2011 and we paid almost 36k per night pala (not 34k) that includes breakfast na. Off peak season nun kasi 2nd week of may kami nagpunta iba ang rates nila kapag peak season, i think plus 10K sya.

is the local resident rate a big discount?  i read in their website that locals get charged with 10% service charge and 12% government tax.  non-locals only get charged the 10% service charge, so a seeming-12% discount for them..
