LOL! kaloka naman talaga ang place...parang may nakita ako na raffle ang 3d2n dito is sa mga bridal fair so good luck na lang kasi sa sobrang dami ng pumupunta sa bridal fair one in a million ang chance para manalo...:p anyways, mukhang pangarap na lang talaga para sakin tong resort na to...pang millionaryo lang ang makakapunta dito...tama mag europe trip na lang!

i saw pictures on the blogs of those who have stayed there, parang hindi ganun kaganda compared with coron and el nido na pare-parehong nasa palawan din. the water and sand are beautiful, pero kung iisipin yung price na binayad mo parang babalik-balik na lang ako sa el nido. or i'd rather go to spratlys or sabah islands, hehe. privacy lang ata ang binabayadan dito eh, pero pwede naman magkaron ng privacy sa iba pang beaches di ba?

Whoa!  I never check tehir rates kasi "DREAM" destination na nga lang yata ito apra sa akin.  Ang alam ko lang na nagpunta dito ay families nina Manny Pacquiao and Eric Morales. 

Amanpulo Resort is in Pamalican Island, part of Cuyo groups of islands.

Amanpulo is one of the luxury hotels under Aman Resorts founded by  Indonesian-Czech Adrian Zecha. Dami nang int'l celebrities nakapunta dito to enjoy their well deserved privacy.

Before may promo silang P50,000/night. Steep pa rin. Maganda nga naman siya but for it's rate, I'd rather go to Europe nalang. I don't need to pay a high price for my privacy. Di naman ako celeb.

yeah mashadong mahal sa amanpulo, actually kasama to sa 1000 places to visit before you die book. Jusko with that price, eh di pupunta na lang ako sa isang 5 star hotel sa cuba, all inclusive pa. It's crazy! But i think ito yung way nila to preserve nga yung place, para at least hindi sha ma torture ng ibang bakasyonista.

our travel agent just informed me that Amanpulo has a promo right now.  49k per person based on twin sharing (15k airfare and 34k for the room) for 3 days 2 nights, valid for travel until december 20. includes breakfast, afternoon snacks, massage, yoga, tennis, golf cart and use of all other amenitites.

pag off peak naman lagi daw may promo.  still expensive but not ridiculously expensive anymore.  Konti nalang kapresyo na lang din ng Dos Palmas or El Nido Lagen. =)

may former officemate akong nagwork sa Amanpulo dati. wala daw or bihira ang Pinoys na nagpupunta dun kasi nga sobrang mahal. pero some of the locals that she spotted there were Edu Manzano and Pinky Webb (regular sila nagpupunta dun). as far as i remember pati sila tintin at julius babao, aga and charlene, tapos mga politicians at mayayamang tao dito sa Pinas.

but even dun sya nagwowork bawal sila makihalubilo sa guests, hindi pwedeng pakalat-kalat sila sa area na hindi sakop ng work nila, bawal sila tumingin sa mata ng guests kung makakasalubong nila pero dapat bumati sila, at lalong bawal sila magswim dun sa beach kung may guests. di sila pwede basta-basta gumamit ng amenities sa resort, though may konting discount sila. sabi pa nya sakin, matagal sya nagwork dun pero never pa sya naka-experience na maging guest dun dahil sobrang mahal kahit may discount sila.

wow sis parang gusto ko din magwork sa amanpulo! haha...

My cousin works as an engineer in Palawan but for the government and his job takes him to all these different islands in Palawan. He's seen Amanpulo but says it's still not the best island he's been to. Maganda daw kung sa maganda pero like one poster said, it's comparable to other more popular islands. Yun nga lang sa pictures parang ang ganda nga no? Hehe. Pero ang binabayaran talaga dun yung resort mismo.

Same with other people- for the price, I'd much rather go to Europe. Or The Bahamas. Cheaper pa siguro. Sure I love The Philippines pero for the price, El Nido na lang ako. Or Coron.

Hanggang pangarap nalang din siguro ang Amanpulo para sa 'kin. Siguro pag niyaya ko si hubby na pumunta dun, hihimatayin yun sa laki ng gastos. Hahaha!

super mahal talaga, plan namin mag visit dito next year i hope matuloy na, kasi twice na din nag postponed since we bought a house.

true, for that price pwede ng makapunta ng ibang bansa or other places, pero kaya nga sya dream destination para sa iba, kasi hindi basta basta napupuntahan at hindi lahat nagkakaroon ng chance na makapunta.
