m_lim, we booked thru our agent lang. sila din ang nag inform sa amin na may promo =)

yikee... we booked nung november... that promo was valid for travel until december 20 yata.. i remember i posted about that promo in this thread pero that time hindi pa kami decided na pumunta.. =)

quian, sand is white naman parang boracay din pero not as fine as station 1... siguro parang station 3. yung water super clear talaga and napaka-calm. =) when we went last december, sa kabilang side ng island may konting seaweed kasi seaweed season daw =)

an officemate was able to book daw a promo during the SMX Travel Expo last FEb. around 30k per head daw for 3d/2n. i haven't really asked for the details kasi nagmamadali kaming magkwentuhan dahil may meeting kami.

sis fabfabfab, ang gaganda ng pictures mo from amanpulo. And ang ganda naman talaga ng beach...no wonder dyan nagpupunta sila brad pitt and madonna.

gusto ko rin pumunta dito para maexperience naman ang service nila. pero dahil mahal siya, siguro sa 10th yr anniv na lang namin, 5 yrs to go pa.

pero abang din ako ng promo para mapaaga naman ang paghihintay.

may officemate ko na every year nakakapunta dito kasi nagwork sister niya sa amanpulo, siguro mga 3 yrs din siya na nasa amanpulo every summer. now naman nagwork siya sa maldives so enjoy niya din ang beach dun.

sis fab thank you for sharing, lalo ako naexcite, we will be here this 1st week of May.

And tama ka hindi naman sya super duper mahal, siguro nagmumukhang expensive kasi yung worth nya kapag ginastos sa ibang destinations marami ng mararating, or pwede ka na magstay ng matagal sa isang lugar, compare sa only 3 days or 4 days sa amanpulo.

But I also feel na meron reason bakit ganoon kamahal ang lugar na ito. Hindi naman sya Amanpulo for nothing

and i also agree with sis freeswan, kung mura dito eh di sana lahat na ng tao nakapunta

then wala ng pinagkaiba sa ibang lugar.

naisip ko tuloy bigla at nasabi ko kay bf na civil or super simpleng kasal na lang na walang halos bisita tapos yung naipon namin ilustay na lang sa 3week beach-backpacking flight hopping kung saan saan dito sa pinas or dito sa amanpulo. not a bad idea.. lalo kung promo deal naman

Agree with Fab, u pay for the topnotch service in Aman.

To those dreaming to work here, give it a week or two, you would want to go bacl home out of boredom.

There's about 3:1 employee to a guest ratio. You will literally live as a king and queen here. Guests don't see each other.

Lastly, celebs who are confirmed to have stayed here are Mariah Carey and Snape of Harry Potter.

Rumor lang daw [textspeak!] brad pitt and Madonna.

^Mariah Carey is true. A friend saw her in Amanpulo. She went around the same time she had a concert in Manila (after her concert yata, but I’m not 100% sure)

got back from our Amanpulo trip last Tuesday

masasabi ko lang, worth every centavo ang Amanpulo. And kapag andun ka na, you will keep telling yourself.. "kaya pala mahal"

package ba yung kinuha mo? saan ka po nag book? kasama na din po ba yung mga amenities like yung paggamit ng water sports amenities nila etc. sa packages? sori dami tanong. salamat..
