a beautiful Saturday morning sa lahat ng mga sisses ko!!! how are you all na? :)

I just got back from my vacation...I went to Cebu. with Cebu map in hand, i cautiously made my way around :) Cebu is a very beautiful place! Andami palang mga Koreans dun. kala ko yung plane na nasakyan ko bound for Korea. hahaha! I met a Korean girl who was traveling alone din. She was super nice and with her struggling English, we were able to get along well naman. sayang nga lang she was booked on a tour so me schedule siyang fina-follow. But anyway, still it was a beautiful experience to sum it all.

Sana naman merong mga sisses dito who loves the "Eat, Pray, Love" type of trip. tara! trip [textspeak!] and let's altogether explore and experience wonderful and memorable adventure! (*_*)

1 Corinthians 13: 1-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

1 Corinthians 13: 13

And now these three remain; faith hope, and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE.

My ex and I were together for 2 yrs and we were already living together. last year was my happiest year. It seemed like nothing would ever go wrong in our relationship. Our families both love us and totally supported us, we have good jobs, we already planned our big day for this year, and we were so happy and so madly in love. Came this year, we both resigned to find a better salary package of employment and yes we did, but I guess it was also the start of our "end". Just literally 2 months after we started our new jobs, things made a total 360 degrees turn in our relationship. Misunderstandings were frequent and i felt we slowly drifted apart. We both tried to work things out but in the end...he chose to give up. He chose to give up on us and give up on me. Yes! he left me with no second thoughts. he left me with our plans for our future...alone. Our wedding, our planned business, and our place...he left as if it was his freedom he's after. I was able to ask him what is our problem that he thinks we could never resolve but he only told me that I hurt him enough that he just fell out of love and that he could feel nothing for me anymore. I was shocked! That easily and fast??? it was just last year that everything was so perfect for us and just this 1st ever major problem, he gave up on us? he gave up on me???

And now I'm totally alone. Much worse, i have our place completely to myself. I can't seem to leave this place because it's already fully furnished (by both of us and he did not take anything when he left, just his personal stuff) and much more so close to my new workplace. And everyday I face this pain of his leaving and worse, this month should have been our happiest month...but it seems to be my death :(

hi sis..same na same tayo ng nangyare. Kaya natin to!

they are both living together and they even bought a place and even plan for their wedding.
Tapos biglang umayaw yung girl (sabi ni friend, kesyo magulo daw ang isip bata pa raw, etchos)
Naloka itong friend ko.

Ang ginawa nya after that break-up
minimum 20 mountains ang kailangan nyang maakyat that year, sa pinas. All major.
At nagawa nya, nakapag traverse din sya sa Mt. Apo (Oh my inggit ako)
Marami syang na experience, marami din syang nakilala.
After 1yr
Ok na sya ngayon, In love ulit. :)

kaya, keep on loving!

Hi sis holli_may, im glad na slowly naaalis mo na si ex sa system mo. tama yan sa mga trying situations talaga its important to keep yourself busy at mag enggage sa mga activities na hindi mo usually ginagawa dati... napaisip lang ako na kaya siguro mahirap din para sayo na completely maka moveon, at minsan sabi mo nga nakakaramdam ka ng "backslide" at hindi ka makaramdam ng galit kay ex? would it be because walang CLOSURE young hiwalayan ninyo?  just a thought lang po...

i miss you all mga sis, how are you all na? :)

sisses Ninar612, kalaiyaan, and mommynigabby === yup, i pursue the movie theme in "Eat, Pray, Love" mga sis. Well, not totally kasi unlike Julia's character in the movie, di ko ata kakayanin yung ginawa nyang pag-give up sa lahat ng resources nya (financially) just to pursue yung gusto nya. Me family din kasi akong iniisip na baka madamay kung maging tambay ako, hirap pa naman makahap ng new work ngayon. Pero for the remaining months of the year I do have scheduled trips to take. thank God for all of these airline promos! hehe :) Anyways, yun nga I engaged myself in a lot of outdoor activities din. Tulad ng friend mo sis kalaiyaan, I joined climbs din. WEll not really those major ones na aabot hanggang Apo but I tried things that I never tried before. Then I discover andami ko palang di pa nagagawa na I thought never and di ko kayang gawin pero nagawa and nakayanan ko. Siguro aside sa drive to explore on new adventure, I'm really fortunate na napapalibutan ako ng mga mabubuting friends who were used as a tool for these new expeeriences. God is really so good! :) Aside from climbs, I got active din sa mga charitable events or Habitat. Meron kasi kaming ganito sa church so I make it a point na makibahagi sa mga ganun. And yes! It's so overwhelming and so fulfilling at the  end. Kasi I believe I'm using my time for goodness :) Aside from personal happiness, I get to meet lot of new friends din, so masaya talaga :)

sisses ladyisabella and vanillamist === now ko narealize nahihiya ako sa sarili ko. Kasi when I posted my story sa thread na 'to before, I really felt I had the saddest story anyone could ever experience. And now knowing your stories, para akong sinampal na ke liit lang pala ng pinagdaanan ko sa napagdaanan nyo and yet I felt pa na I would die na before. And with your stories din, i so admire you both kasi yung pain na napagdaanan ko is more than twice pa pala sa napagdaanan nyo and yet you stood on your ground and made it to recovery. you inspired me mga, sisses and I thank you for sharing your stories. We may have different circumstances but same story and I believe it's for the same purpose and outcome kay God. Maybe we have same common strength na tinetest ni God but at the end of the day, same yung reward...everlasting happiness with our "THE ONE". Though, I'm feeling much better now than last year but I'm not totally healed...yet. But at least I know in myself that I am healing and I believe that  I or we should reward ourselves for our strength. And we should continue to glorify God because He is our constant source of strength. I'm so excited to see you both (and the rest of our sisses who share the same experience) at the end of this trial...that is finding our Prince sent by God! :)

It's been a year now since I started this thread. Or should I say since that "suppossedly my wedding day"? Last August 28, I was in constant look out for myself or more honestly for my emotion. I had a lot of contingency plans set up in mind in case the devil of the bad memory would attack me unguarded. I admit it somehow made a hole in my "new self" but fortunately it did not swallow me up to the core unlike before. I was able to keep and to hold on to my newfound inner peace and I believe for the next August 28's to come, I will soon just  find it as one of those ordinary days in the calendar :) God is really so good! :)

One of  the things mentioned nga in the movie, "Eat, Pray, and Love" was that scenario between that person praying to the statue. He always prayed to God to please let him win in the lottery. For how many years he always prayed for it 'till God had enough. One day when that same man prayed infront of the statue, the statue moved and finally confronted him saying "My child if you really want to win in the lottery, please, please, please buy a ticket!".

i can't stop myself from laughing while watching that scene but I admit I also felt humiliated. 'Coz when that trial happened, I constantly prayed also for recovery but sadly I didn't do anything about it. I just blogged and moped around in my room. I get tons and tons of advices and encouragement from families and friends but I just took them all in but I didn't act on it. Until realization hit me and that's when I started to move. And watching that scene from the movie, I felt so grateful that i am on the right track indeed because for something to happen or for our wish to take place, we need to act on it! :)

There's also this particular scene in the movie about the "Art of Doin Nothing". Doing nothing really does not mean we're lazy. Sometimes it's also needed for us to reevaluate ourselves or to simply just establish that inner peace again. What's wrong about it though is if we stay in this mindset for years and years...now that's a bad thing obviously! hahaha! :)

With occasional pauses in my day to day life, I get to look back on what really happened and what I've done to contribute to that failed relationship. I forget myself! I completely and willingly surrendered my identity for my partner! I may not became aware of it but I let my partner control over me. He may not know it either or it was really not his intention to do but subconsciously because I allowed him to do it, it brought us both to a weakening relationship. The main lesson for me from that experience is, we should have grown together and not one on the other.

And now I know better if I will be in my next relationship. There's nothing wrong with sacrifices or occasional "giving in's" for the harmony of the relationship but to totally give up our identity and to make our partner the center of our universe is self-destruction. I did not lack any guidance from my elders about this, pero ganun talaga siguro pag-inlove ka, because the feeling is so strong we sometimes don't know it anymore that what we thought is a good intention is not good anymore. Andami! Andami ko talagang mga realizations sa nangyari but I'd rather not bombard this thread with those kasi alam na naman natin yan sa sarili natin eh. What we need to make sure lang is kung andun na [textspeak!] sa relationship and if we feel na we love our partner more than they love us...alang masama jan, as long as di natin dapat kalimutan ang sarili natin. Because as much as our partner should feel that they are loved by us, we also deserve the same thing. Ika nga diba, it takes two to tango :)

On the other hand, so pano ba yan mga sisses, "Ber" month na? Any plans on organizing a christmas party para magkasalo-salo naman tayong lahat? hehe :) May it be still brokenhearted, in the process of recovery, or totally recovered na...it won't matter. As long as we'll celebrate our being a woman of strength and poise. Any organizers in the house? ;)

This I very much agree on sis. In fact, when you look back, the date isn't as significant as it used to be that you'll have a hard time remembering the date or not even remember it anymore ;)
