^^my son's 1st birthday was on november 17 then he had a party 3 days after.  on the day of his birthday, his lolo and lola dropped by for lunch in our house so i prepared something plus we did the blowing of the candle. then in the afternoon, he had a mini salu-salo with his and his ate's playmates plus the yayas in the our condo building's garden. come evening, we went out and had dinner somewhere. this is the highlight cause he never really get to go out that much lalo na in the evening. he was so happy to see the christmas lights and decorations in the Eastwood open mall. Then the people in Friday's gave him a small brownie ala mode cake with a mini candle and they sang a birthday song for him. Ganun lang ka-simple. I guess it made him feel special cause he was the center of attention in those 3 mini celebrations he had that day.

travel na lang sana gusto ko for our baby's 1st birthday, kami lang ni baby and hubby.  pero ayaw ni hubby kasi 1st birthday daw ni baby, dapat daw birthday party celebration with relatives and friends.  pero walang relatives on my side na makaka-attend.  friends lang makaka-attend and i'm sure at the party puro questions na naman sa akin "where's your father? mother? brothers? and sisters?"  kulang na lang ask pa nila ako "how do you brush your teeth?"

Hi sis, 1st birthday ng mga anak ko, may party talaga, pasasalamat namin yun at nakaraos sila, one year old na :) Kaya sa first birthday ng bunso ko sa Sept. 2012, same, may party.

7th birthday ng anak kong panganay this coming Feb., tinanong ko siya, kung ano gusto niya, I want her to enjoy her birthday, sabi niya swimming, kaya yun, go go kami sa southwinds resort laguna, with few friends and relatives lang, mga close lang talaga namin.

In between 1st and 7th birthday, may cakes palagi, pero it's either kakain kami sa labas, mamamasyal sa mall, sa ibat ibang lugar like zoo, ocean park etc, ganun lang, after the 7th birthday, ganun na lang din, wala ng big parties, basta lagi ko naman tatanungin ang anak ko, kung ano gusto niya :)

About travelling, hindi namin natatapat sa birthday niya, but nadala na namin si panganay sa HK, sa disneyland, ocean park at Macau nung 5 years old siya, hindi nga lang tapat ng birthday niya :D

Huwag magpaka stress sis, kung ano ang hilig ng anak mo, kung ano ang enjoyable for him/her, kahit hindi party, go lang ng go :)

for my panganay, we had her first bday party na medyo bongga and then when she turned 7, yun ang talagang bongga kasi iyon ang gusto nya mangyari sa birthday party nya.  Now, our second daugther will be turning 1 this coming May and we were thinking na dapat pareho pa din ng celebration, we are now planning for her birthday party.  Actually, we already travelled to HK Disney and OP with my kids just last January kaya lang hindi na tumapat sa birthday ni bunso o ni ate but they really enjoyed our trip.

haay, so sad talaga.  even hubby's parents can't go to our baby's 1st birthday party.  kahit brothers and sisters namin can't go din.  friends na lang pala bisita namin if magparty pa kami.

Basta sis, kahit anong klase pa ng celebration yan bongga or hindi, basta maibigay natin yung gusto nila siguro yung pinaka-wish nila + something that would make them so excited and happy... yan ang mareremember nila.

When my eldest was 3 years old, kami lang dalawa yung magcecelebrate that time, I just invited 3 of my pamangkins and they played all day sa kidz republic in MOA, until now that he is 7 he still can't forget that day.

Now I have 3 kids, hmmmm... di ko pa alam if party celebrations this year or out of town. Hehe

Ako talaga personally, mas gusto ko mga out of town/out of the country trips pag may birthday sa family, less hassle, walang stress na preparation, mas naeenjoy namin siya, talagang family bonding, kesa sa pag may party, pagod na pagod talaga kami, kaya pag 1 and 7 years old lang talaga may party kahit papaano, para lang ba may celebration with other people..

dun sa panganay ko, nag birthday party siya sa house from 1-4years old. nung 5th-8th birthday (onwards), even nung 7th birthday, sa school nalang, not exactly party kasi snack time lang yun, kiddie meal sa jollibee or happy meal sa mcdo . pero nagdadala pa din ako ng cakes, cupcakes, balloons and giveaways for the kids para mas masaya sila. at the same time, sa bahay naghahanda din kami ng spagheti or any pansit, fried chicken, etc for the family.

pero nung nagka second baby na kami, 1st birthday at 9th birthday nilang mag ate, nagpaparty kami sa bahay. pareho kasi silang feb kaya joint party nalang. :-) pati nung 2nd at 10th birthday nila nagparty ulit.

plus: a surprise gift or a gift na wish nila on their birthday.

Nung nag 1st bday si baby nag party kami, 2nd day niya sa jollibee, just recenly nag celebrate kaming 3 lang out of town. We visited Zoobic Safari and stayed overnight at Camayan BeachResort.

I'm thinking to have two celebration on my daughter's 2nd birthday this September. One celebration is on my family side in Las Pinas and the second celebration is in Laguna on my hubby's side. I am planning to just buy Jollibee food sa Laguna celebration sine malayo sa amin yun hassle magluto ng food at wala kame sasakyan. Haha

my son is turning 4 on september, my initial plan nung buhay pa ang hubby ko is to have a Mcdo bday party sana kasi naiinggit siya sa mga bday parties na inaattendan namin, 1st bday nia kasi sa bahay lang tas bumabagyo pa hindi natuloy yung games so simpleng kainan lang ang nangyari, 2nd bday nia namasyal kameng tatlo sa manila ocean park na hindi rin namin naenjoy kasi that time konti pa lang ang bukas, 3rd bday sa bahay lang ulit though gumastos kame ng almost 20k ganun din inulan so wala ring games.. ngayon na mag 4 na siya, kamamatay lang ng husband ko and ang babang luksa is one year hindi kame pwede magparty and wala rin naman na akong kahati sa expenses, I decided na lang na manuod na lang kame ng Mickey mouse show sa araneta coliseum then kain na lang kung san nia gusto and bibilhan ko rin siya ng gamit na gustong gusto nia

Change of plan na kame ni hubby. We will just go to a zoo daw on her birthday and then magluluto ng food at bibili ng cake. We'll just buy her toys as a gift. I'm sure magugustuhan at matutuwa siya dun. :) Simple pero memorable kasi kumpleto kame plus bonding talaga.

Ako naman dun sa eldest ko every year may party until she reached the age of 4.  Di na rin kaya kasi I already have 3 kids now.  Since my youngest daughter will be celebrating her 1st birthday this year, wala munang party ulit kay ate and kuya.  So nung 6th birthday ng eldest ko, we just had dinner.

So currently, I'm planning for my youngest daughter's birthday.  Nung una, I was planning on a simple celebration lang sana kaso naisip ko di naman ako nagpa-party dun sa dalawa so medyo tinaasan ko na ng konti yung budget kasi parang joint celebration na nilang 3.

for my two sons, we've given them big parties for their 1st birthdays and the rest panay small ones lang like sa bahay lang or isang table lang kami sa resto.  in my experience, walang difference for them kung malaki at bongga ang party or maliit at simple lang.  i've never heard them ask me for big parties, laging gusto lang nila ng cake, fave food and their friends and family; masaya na sila.  basta kakantahan lang sila ng happy birthday at makakareceive ng gifts (kahit ano bast naka wrap hehe) ok na.  kaya i agree with some people here na we shouldn't be too pressured sa mga birthdays ng mga anak natin.  after my son's 7th birthday party, wala nakong balak magpaparty.  small but meaningful celebrations na lang.  like go to the beach, mag overnight sa hotel or even just take them to museo pambata or sa zoo.  ;)

katatapos lang ng 7th bday celebration ng 2nd kid ko last July 28 which we celebrated sa house namin, that was his 2nd big party, yung 1st one was during his 1st bday celeb sa Jollibee, 2nd to 5th simple family celebration sa house or resto (with blowing of cake and opening of gifts, then nung 6th bday nya, he had a school party.

Yung eldest ko, yung 1st bday lang ang big party nya, nung 6th bday nya, she had a school party, the rest simple bday sa house or sa resto, she's turning 14 this September and gusto pa rin nya simple party with her close friends from school, sa house din lang at may pizza, pasta, ice cream and cake (pero pucca daw ang design) hehe

and my youngest, who's turning one this October, haay i want sana to give her the traditional Jollibee party pag 1st birthday, just like her other siblings, pero insist ni hubby na mag pa-party na lang ulet sa house, kasi sa sobrang successful ng 7th bday celebration ng son ko, gusto nya dun na rin sa house

so it means sobrang pagod na naman ang beauty ng mommy, hehe

bahala na, be it simple or big, ang importante andun tayong mga parents nila on their special day :)
