mga sis, is it better ba to consult with IDP or ako na lang mismo mag-aayos ng papers ko sa universities? sa australian forum kasi suggestion ng marami na sariling ayos na lang ng papers kung hindi naman busy. ako kasi maraming time since nasa bahay lang ako. nag-email na ko sa mga universities ng enquiry pa lang naman, wala pang nagrereply. last week pa ako nag email, nagtatanong pa lang ako about sa course na kukunin ko if ever. so what do you think, shall iconsult na with IDP?

^ako nagpapaassist sa IDP e, ano daw ba ang pros (versus cons) pag nag ayos na lang ng papers mag isa? i mean i asked helped from IDP kasi isip ko mas matutulungan nila ako re student visa....

^^ sis accdg sa australian forum na nabasa ko, one of the reason daw is hindi tugma yung suggestion ng IDP sa university mismo na inapplyan niya/nila. if marami naman daw oras why not mag ayos mag-isa, masmabilis pa daw. yun ang sabi dun sis. napaisip tuloy ako since business and part time jobs lang naman ako as of now so marami ako free time or i can even make myself free. pero i guess mag consult na lang muna ako sa IDP, next week pa naman ako mag IELTS so hindi ko rin kelangan pa magmadali. pero siguro once na marelease na IELTS ko and mabagalan ako sa IDP, that's the time na lang na ako na mag aayos ng documents. gusto ko kasi makahabol sa next opening of classes nila

when i have decided what course to take, after 3 weeks meron nako offer letter sa school kaso nagpachange ako ng school at course kasi malayo sa house ng tita ko yung unang school na napili

^^hindi pa sis. kakasubmit pa lang ulit ng offer letter nung isang araw. child care yung kukunin ko.

^depende sa course sis and school. pero yung unang school i inquired about sa Univ of New England sa New south wales, Bachelor in nursing A$19,000.00 sya. mahal.

then yung  diploma sa isang school A$12,000 then meron din sa isang school nasa A$13,000


better check IDP philippines. meron sila dung list ng schools then you can google the website of that school for the available courses.

Got a friend here in Australia na inisponsoran nya yung kapatid nya as a student visa. Na deny sila yesterday, after ma process lahat ng papeles at mabayaran ang dapat bayaran na deny lang. New rules ngayon may interview na through telephone. Hindi lang na satisfy yung case officer sa tanong, deny agad. Non refundable pa naman ang visa process at medical. Does anyone know kung pwede ba ito mai-appeal ? Sa mga latest na nag a-apply for student visa na interview din ba kayo ? Thanks.

honeybunny, questions lang about the course, financial status, at kung babalik pa ba daw sya sa Philippines. Filipino ang case officer nya. The call is not here from Australia kung di embassy diyan sa atin. Nakakaawa nga eh, iyak ng iyak. Paano nakapag benta na sila ng properties nila, tapos ganoon lang ang mangyayari.

This happens talaga minsan, kahit pa complete ang documents na na-submit. Masyadong mahigpit ang mga CO's kaya very important talaga na well-prepared ang applicant sa possible phone interview.

may friend ako sa Melbourne she asked me na dun naman mag vacation sa ausie since lage nya ako nakikitang gumagala kung saan saan. nagkaroon ng sale sa air asia nag booked ako 5K lang KL-Melbourne. Wala ako pabalik kasi sabi nya kung gusto ko daw mag student visa ako tapos sa kanya ako tumira super backread ako sa thread na ito. nag start na ako mag research problem ko wala ako enough fund haha. ^ sis if you wanna be a student in Australia, you have to lodge your application here in the Philippines in order to get a student visa. Since tourist ka lang, tourist visas have restrictions. If you are granted a 3 month tourist visa, you can study for 3 months lang. Even if you get a 12 month multiple entry, the requirement for that is to exit Australia every 3 months. Meron pang restriction na No Further Stay and Not Allowed to Work. So yes, you can be a student but not the long term one and definitely, you can't work. Even if you ask the schools or unis in Australia, once they will know that you have a tourist visa, they will advise you to lodge your student visa application offshore.

considering tanggap ka sa lahat ng Uni. money or scholarship is not a question, I'd look muna kung alin sa choices ang pinaka prestigous sa buong mundo.

if they're all equally ranked, I'd rather go to Canada. everything in Aus is relatively expensive. People are friendlier. you can enjoy every season din. you can visit the US, if you are eligible. there are friendly people in australia pero marami pa din racist or may pagka elitist. racism can be so casual in aus lalo na pag galit or bad mood yung tao. sa canada, kahit gaano ka tense, walang mabibitawan na salita mga yun na may kinalalaman sa balat.

but if you have plans in moving to Aus. best na mag tapos ka sa aussie na uni.

hi mga it's been a long time since I visited GT, may question po ako hope somebody can answer me,  here is my case, I am a holder of a student visa class 573 granted last January 30, 2012 and will expire on July 2, 2014, I still have not use the visa due to deferment and family circumstances, but I'm scheduled to begin my classes on June 16, 2014 finally, can I still go to Australia even if I have less than a month of visa validity? plan ko duon na lang i extend sana.
