GRADE SCHOOLS IN QC

Hi. Naisip ko na ilipat ng school ang anak ko next school year. May I know kung ano ang mga okay na schools ? Any feedback sa Meridian Learning Experience School? Thank you.

Just want to know kung may mommies dito na enrolled ang kids nila in either St. James QC or Diliman Preparatory School in Mindanao Ave. I'm planning to transfer my son pero he'll be either kinder 1 or 2 daw depende if he'll pass the assessment. Nag-school na naman sya pero from a progressive school. Medyo worried ako kung kakayanin nya.

St. Mary's QC ok doon maganda ang turo at pagdevelop sa behavior ng bata mura ang tuition plus kasama pa lahat doon project, fieltrip, lab etc. strict sila sa behavior kasi Catholic school sila.

hi sis! any comment on St. James? i was considering St. James, when planning for my son to move from an exclusive school to a coed one (plan pa lang naman, if mas lumala ang mga classmate nyang bully-ish ang ugali)... ano pa kaya ang ok na coed na school na reasonable ang tuition?

St. Mary's QC ok doon maganda ang turo at pagdevelop sa behavior ng bata mura ang tuition plus kasama pa lahat doon project, fieltrip, lab etc. strict sila sa behavior kasi Catholic school sila.

sis, magkano range ng tf sa St Mary's? Gusto ko kasi magkaron ng ibang alternative aside from Diliman Prep eh. For enrollment na kami actually sa DPS, pasado naman sa exam yung daughter ko, tho Kinder sya muna since di sya abot sa age cutoff. Sa St Mary's pasok sya sa cutoff for Grade 1.

TF for DPS this 2015 for Kinder would be around 75K (tf & Misc) only, since may increase raw na 5-10% from last year na 69k. books are around 4k+, no idea yet how much for the uniform and other activities. I was thinking na ganito ba talaga na every year required silang mgtaas? lol. No question naman ako sa kanilang curriculum kasi from what I read in their brochure mukhang ok naman. Ang TF lang talaga ang medyo masakit sa bulsa.

Good morning, mommies! I'm new here and I just want to ask if any of you knows a good gradeschool within congressional-katipunan-teacher's village-batasan area that's not too expensive? And by not too expensive, I mean 20k-40k? Or is that too much to hope for? I'm a single mom of 2 kids, both in gradeschool this June. And we're moving to QC. So I'm crossing my fingers that we'll be able to find a school for my girls that I can afford. Thank you, mommies!

Hi Sis. Try Colegio de San Lorenzo, along Congressional Ave. I think nandun sila sa range ng 20k to 40k

Hi Mommy Alec_Feline! I just called Colegio de San Lorenzo. Their incoming Grade 1 is already 48k+ and Grade 4 is 51k+. So far, I've been reading nice reviews naman about them. But I'm still hoping to find a school fit in my budget

Do you know the range now at St Theresa's? for gradeschool 2 onwards?

my 2 girls are currently studying at St. Paul QC (elem & high school) and so far, so good. what i like about this school is their no take home assignments policy so that's less pressure for kids & for parents too. everything is done in school and kids have more free time to study/review & can sleep early... they also have this swimming lessons for all levels & step program for students (ballet, taekwando, violin/guitar, creative hands, etc). and all classrooms are fully airconditioned so no pawis for my kids

to those studying at ST PAULS UNIVERSITY QC:

My kid will be an incoming Grade 1. How much is the tuition? Madami pa ba miscellaneous fees? For me its going to be a big adjustment because she came from a small school in Cubao. Do you have awarding ceremonies at the end of school year?

Yes sis, they're moving in Fairview soon. I also inquired there as well because I was looking for a progressive school also for my son.  Where are you from? Try visiting Pail and and Shovel Integrated School. I just enrolled my son there. It's a progressive one as well just like Raya.

^ Sis is this the one in Tandang Sora. We lived beside that school 3 yrs ago, puro Koreans. Korean kasi owner nya eh.. I'm not sure lang now.
