I have enrolled my daughter for grade 1 sa holy spirit bf,qc. Quarterly mode of payment ko. Almost 70k papatak if included books, school supplies, uniforms, misc.

^my daughter is also enrolled for kindergarden sa holy spirit in bf qc
it was my hubby who did the processing/enrollment so i dont know the details yet (and hubby forgot to ask naman) ... like what section she's in, what time yung classes etc.  i'll be calling the school later siguro.

also, bawal daw i-cover yung books/notebooks nila ng plastic cover. ayaw nila ng plastic due to environment concerns!  e ano ang ibabalot ko sa books/notebooks nya?

I have read it also sa Ateneo Grade School site, lagyan na lang daw ng tape ang bawat side ng book para hindi matuklap.

^ sis, sa claret din ganyan. hindi allowed ang plastic cover sa books and notebooks ng bata. what i did was to was to cover my son's books with soft cartolina and decorate it with washi tapes. yung ibang parents naman, they use gift wrappers. may iba naman totally no cover. minsan kasi, pinapatanggal din ng teacher.

Hi there! For The Learning Tree in Sikatuna village, do they have uniforms ba or is it casual like Raya? I'm considering the school for my three kids but I'm a bit apprehensive lang cause I heard it's a Christian school and was wondering if they accept Non-Christians.

hi mommies im a newbie here, scouting din kc ako ng mga school for next school year for my daughter, she will be grade 1 any feedback in Glendale School in project 8, and in St. Claire in west ave? thankyou so much:)

^ The traffic is really bad but we manage by sending the kids to school really early (they leave no later than 5:55 am for their 7:30 am class even though we're within the same vicinity and practically katabi lang ng Miriam College).  It's tough but good training for children to know the value of being early for school and for life in general.

There are 38 boys in a class.

One thing I love about the school is the character formation.  The Jesuits and teachers really emphasize good values, discipline and love for God and country.  This year, they will be formally incorporating environmental education in the curriculum.  Plus points ito sa akin. The academic curriculum is very strong on literature and thus, Ateneo boys generally love to read.  Sabi nga sa akin ng isang Scholastic agent, pag sa Ateneo sila nag-book fair, first day pa lang halos sold out na ang books unlike in the other sikat na boys' school. Happy din ako sa Singapore Math because it's process-based and enjoyable for the boys.  My boys will be in grade 2 and I couldn't be happier with the way they are developing.  I had my doubts about Ateneo before, mainly because of the homework and weekly quizzes.  So far, we are managing well.

hi sis marose - can you still remember how's the entrance exam for grade 1? my son is scheduled this sept. hay... ako kinakabahan. hehe he's in progressive school now, can follow instructions naman but he wants to do things fast, kahit pangit. hahaha oh well, i guess its normal for boys? hehe thanks sis!

^ Sis, it was my husband who accompanied my sons when they had their entrance exam.  Based on what he told me, there was a group of boys and they were ushered inside the gate by a teacher.  My sons have vague recollections of what went on during their entrance exam.

^ Tell your son to behave, say please and thank you and answer questions in complete sentences.  That's what the other parents told me before.
