Think positive. Stay away from people na nega, regardless of what relationship you have with them.

Never underestimate the lengths to which people with sneaky/bad intent
(mga mandurugas) will go to.  hehe   Always over-protect your interests from the start.  For sure, eventually, things will sour.

Think positive pag may problema.

"I have good idea, for if you meet some person from different religion and he want to make argument about God. My idea is, you listen to everything this man say about God. Never argue about God with him. Best thing to say is, 'I agree with you.' Then you go home, pray what you want. This is my idea for people to have peace about religion."

You have to let go of emotional vampires; if you hold on to whatever relationship you have with them, you will end up being sucked dry of the essence of happiness and sometimes the value of life itself. These are the instances when cutting emotional/physical/verbal/etc ties with negative people SHOULD be done ASAP!

Yes, I do not bother to try to understand anymore, specially people who have a chip on their shoulders or looking for someone to hit on just so they do not have to live with themselves. lol

so truee  i like this one.

"Inaction breeds doubt & fear.  Action breeds confidence & courage." - this is from Dale Carneige.  As you can see, I'm used to being in my comfort zone and now I have to face reality as I'm already in my adulthood and must take responsibility.

"When you're in a relationship, think first if your actions might cause a negative outcome for your partner." - My bf said this to me.  So I always watch out for my actions, because the guilt will always haunt you forever.

"In the end, you're on your own" - heard from Squall in the game FF8, mahirap man tanggapin pero totoo nga naman.  Minsan may times na nasanay ako umasa sa magulang at kaibigan, so kailangan matuto rin ako tumayo sa sarili ko kahit wala sila. ^^

and lastly,

"Compatibility does not necessarily mean that the 2 individuals have the same attitude & have the same likes & dislikes; it is the capability of each other to adjust to the likes & dislikes of their partner" - Nakalimutan ko sino nagsabi nito but I agree with this.  I'm glad that this is how our relationship grew stronger. ^^

Treat every negative thing as an opportunity.

Believe that God is always good. Everything that happens to you happens for a good reason.

Don't sweat the small stuff. It will just take time away from you to enjoy more of life.

Work hard, play hard and love a lot!

- MSNP

madami pang iba as in... Thanks be  to God!

I've had trust issues too. So. Trust a little more, but always have a Plan B.

It's good if you have a spiritual base. Que si God or the universe, pag may respeto ka sa higher power, mas may stability ang buhay mo. You have something/somebody to answer to.

And these:

- On self pity: Someone somewhere will always be more than happy to trade places with you. There are plenty of people who have it worse. I wouldn't want to be in THEIR place  ;D It lightens my mood na rin, kasi the thought makes me laugh kahit na morbid)

- Pag walang pera, wala. Impress yourself, not others -- many people buy things they don't need to impress people they don't know. Walang sense diba?

- Wag kang magkalat. :D

- Wag ka'ng manira o mamintas. Don't subscribe to chismisan.

These I got from my Dad. He died several years ago. I know these "lessons" will stay with me til I die.

One more vital life lesson I've learned:  Always assume positive intent.

Kung masama man intensiyon nila, and you still see the good in it, hindi pa din ikaw ang talo.  And it minimizes the number of issues that get raised because of incorrect assumptions. :)

Quotes from How I Met Your Mother:

"The great moments of your life won’t necessarily be the things you do. They’ll also be the things that happen to you. Now, I’m not saying you can’t take action to affect the outcome of your life. You have to take action. And you will! But never forget, that on any day, you could step out the front door, and your whole life could change forever. You see the Universe has a plan kids; and that plan is always in motion. A butterfly flaps its wings, and it starts to rain. It’s a scary thought, but it’s also kind of wonderful. All these little parts of the machine constantly working… Making sure that you end up exactly where you’re supposed to be.. exactly when you’re supposed to be there. The right place. At the right time."

"From that moment I wasn’t angry anymore…Kids, you may think your only choices are to swallow your anger or throw it in someone’s face, but there’s a third option: You can just let it go, and only when you do that is it really gone and you can move forward. And that kids, was the perfect ending to a perfect love story. It just wasn’t mine. Mine was still out there, waiting for me."
